Psalmaro 149

1 Haleluja! Kantu al la Eternulo novan kanton, Lian gloron en la anaro de fideluloj.

Hallelujah. Sing unto the Lord a new song, his praise in the congregation of the pious.

2 Izrael ĝoju pri sia Kreinto, La filoj de Cion ĝoju pri sia Reĝo.

Let Israel rejoice in his Maker: let the children of Zion exult in their King.

3 Ili gloru Lian nomon en danco, Per tamburino kaj harpo ili muziku al Li.

Let them praise his name in the dance: with the timbrel and harp let them sing praises unto him.

4 Ĉar al la Eternulo plaĉas Lia popolo; Li ornamas humilulojn per savo.

For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people; he will adorn the meek with salvation.

5 La fideluloj ĝoju en honoro, Kantu ĝoje sur siaj kuŝejoj.

Let the pious be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their couches.

6 Glorado al Dio estas en ilia buŝo, Kaj dutranĉa glavo en ilia mano,

The exalted praises of God are in their mouth, and a two-edged sword is in their hand;

7 Por fari venĝon super la popoloj, Punkorektadon super la gentoj;

To execute vengeance on the nations, and chastisements on the people:

8 Por malliberigi iliajn reĝojn per ĉenoj Kaj iliajn eminentulojn per feraj katenoj;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron:

9 Por fari super ili antaŭdestinitan juĝon. Tio estas honoro por ĉiuj Liaj fideluloj. Haleluja!

To execute upon them the judgment [which is] written: this is an honor for all his pious servants. Hallelujah.
