Psalmaro 122

1 Kanto de suprenirado. De David. Mi ekĝojis, kiam oni diris al mi: Ni iru en la domon de la Eternulo.

A song of ascents, of David. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of Yahweh.”

2 Niaj piedoj staris en viaj pordegoj, Ho Jerusalem,

Jerusalem, our feet are standing within your gates!

3 Vi Jerusalem, konstruita kiel urbo, En kiu ĉio kuniĝis.

Jerusalem, built as a city carefully planned!

4 Tien supreniris la triboj, la triboj de la Eternulo, Laŭ la moro de Izrael, Por glori la nomon de la Eternulo.

The tribes go up to Jerusalem—the tribes of Yahweh— as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks to the name of Yahweh.

5 Ĉar tie staris tronoj de juĝo, Tronoj de la domo de David.

There thrones of judgment were set, thrones of the house of David.

6 Deziru pacon al Jerusalem; Bonan staton havu viaj amantoj.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May those who love you have peace.

7 Paco estu inter viaj muroj, Bonstato en viaj palacoj.

May there be peace within the walls that defend you, and may they have peace within your fortresses.”

8 Pro miaj fratoj kaj amikoj mi do diru: Paco estu al vi.

For the sake of my brothers and my friends I will say, “May there be peace within you.”

9 Pro la domo de la Eternulo, nia Dio, Mi deziras al vi bonon.

For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek good for you.
