Psalmaro 119
1 Bone estas al tiuj, kies vojo estas senmakula, Kiuj iras laŭ la leĝo de la Eternulo.
Happy are they who are upright in their way, Who walk in the law of the LORD!
2 Bone estas al tiuj, kiuj plenumas Liajn decidojn, Kiuj serĉas Lin per la tuta koro;
Happy are they who observe his ordinances, And seek him with their whole heart;
3 Ili ne faras malbonagon, Ili iras laŭ Liaj vojoj.
Who also do no iniquity, But walk in his ways!
4 Vi ordonis al ni, Forte observi Viajn leĝojn.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 Ho, estu fortikaj miaj vojoj, Ke mi observu Viajn leĝojn!
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Tiam mi ne bezonos honti, Kiam mi atentos ĉiujn Viajn ordonojn.
Then shall I not be put to shame, When I have respect to all thy commandments.
7 Mi gloros Vin el pura koro, Lernante la juĝojn de Via justeco.
I will praise thee in uprightness of heart, When I shall have learned thy righteous laws.
8 Viajn leĝojn mi observos; Ne forlasu min tute.
I will keep thy statutes; Do not utterly forsake me!
9 Per kio junulo povas purigi sian vojon? Per plenumado laŭ Viaj vortoj.
How shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed to it according to thy word.
10 Per mia tuta koro mi Vin serĉas; Ne lasu min deflankiĝi de Viaj ordonoj.
With my whole heart have I sought thee; O let me not wander from thy commandments!
11 En mia koro mi konservas Vian diron, Por ke mi ne peku antaŭ Vi.
Thy word have I hid in my heart, That I might not sin against thee.
12 Benata Vi estas, ho Eternulo; Instruu al mi Viajn leĝojn.
Blessed be thou, O LORD! O teach me thy statutes!
13 Per miaj lipoj mi rakontas Ĉiujn decidojn de Via buŝo.
With my lips do I declare All the precepts of thy mouth.
14 Pri la vojo de Viaj leĝoj mi ĝojas, Kiel pri granda riĉeco.
In the way of thine ordinances I rejoice As much as in all riches.
15 Pri Viaj ordonoj mi meditas, Kaj mi rigardas Viajn vojojn.
I meditate on thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.
16 Mi havas plezuron de Viaj leĝoj, Mi ne forgesas Vian vorton.
I delight myself in thy statutes; I do not forget thy word.
17 Bonfaru al Via sklavo, Ke mi vivu kaj plenumu Vian vorton.
Deal kindly with thy servant, that I may live, And have regard to thy word!
18 Malfermu miajn okulojn, Ke mi vidu miraklojn de Via instruo.
Open thou mine eyes, That I may behold wondrous things out of thy law!
19 Migranto mi estas sur la tero; Ne kaŝu antaŭ mi Viajn ordonojn.
I am a stranger in the earth; O hide not thy precepts from me!
20 Elturmentiĝis mia animo De senĉesa sintirado al Viaj juĝoj.
My soul breaketh within me, On account of longing for thy judgments at all times.
21 Vi humiligas la malbenitajn fierulojn, Kiuj dekliniĝas de Viaj ordonoj.
Thou rebukest the proud, the accursed, Who wander from thy commandments.
22 Forigu de mi honton kaj malhonoron, Ĉar mi observas Viajn decidojn.
Remove from me reproach and contempt, For I have kept thine ordinances!
23 Eĉ kiam sidas eminentuloj kaj parolas kontraŭ mi, Via sklavo meditas pri Viaj leĝoj.
Princes sit and speak against me, But thy servant meditateth on thy statutes.
24 Viaj decidoj estas mia plezuro, Miaj konsilantoj.
Thine ordinances are my delight; Yea, they are my counsellors.
25 Mia animo algluiĝis al la polvo; Vivigu min laŭ Via vorto.
My soul cleaveth to the dust; O revive me, according to thy word!
26 Mi raportis pri miaj vojoj, kaj Vi aŭskultis min; Instruu al mi Viajn leĝojn.
I have declared my ways, and thou hast heard me; Teach me thy statutes!
27 Komprenigu al mi la vojon de Viaj ordonoj; Kaj mi meditos pri Viaj mirakloj.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts! So will I meditate upon thy wonders.
28 Konsumiĝis mia animo pro malĝojo; Restarigu min laŭ Via vorto.
My soul weepeth for trouble; O lift me up according to thy promise!
29 La vojon de malvero deturnu de mi, Kaj donacu al mi Vian instruon.
Remove from me the way of falsehood, And graciously grant me thy law!
30 La vojon de la vero mi elektis, Mi sopiris al Viaj leĝoj.
I have chosen the way of truth, And set thy statutes before me.
31 Mi alkroĉiĝis al Viaj ordonoj; Ho Eternulo, ne hontigu min.
I cleave to thine ordinances; O LORD! let me not be put to shame!
32 Mi kuras laŭ la vojo de Viaj leĝoj, Ĉar Vi larĝigas mian koron.
I will run in the way of thy commandments, When thou shalt enlarge my heart.
33 Montru al mi, ho Eternulo, la vojon de Viaj leĝoj, Kaj mi ĝin sekvos ĝis la fino.
Teach me, O LORD! the way of thy statutes, That I may keep it to the end!
34 Komprenigu al mi, kaj mi sekvos Vian instruon, Kaj mi konservos ĝin per la tuta koro.
Give me understanding, that I may keep thy law; That I may observe it with my whole heart!
35 Irigu min sur la vojeto de Viaj ordonoj, Ĉar en ĝi mi havas plezuron.
Cause me to tread in the path of thy commandments, For in it I have my delight.
36 Klinu mian koron al Viaj leĝoj, Sed ne al profito.
Incline my heart to thine ordinances, And not to the love of gain!
37 Deturnu miajn okulojn, ke ili ne rigardu falsaĵon; Vivigu min per Viaj vojoj.
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, And quicken me in thy law!
38 Plenumu al Via sklavo Vian diron, Kiu koncernas respekton por Vi.
Fulfill to thy servant thy promise, Which thou hast made to him who feareth thee!
39 Forigu mian malhonoron, kiun mi timas; Ĉar Viaj juĝoj estas bonaj.
Turn away the reproach which I fear; For thy judgments are good.
40 Jen mi deziregas Viajn ordonojn; Per Via justeco vivigu min.
Behold, I have longed for thy precepts; O quicken thou me in thy righteousness!
41 Kaj venu al mi Viaj favoroj, ho Eternulo, Via helpo, konforme al Via vorto,
Let thy mercies come to me, O LORD! And thy help according to thy promise!
42 Ke mi povu doni respondon al mia insultanto; Ĉar mi fidas Vian vorton.
So shall I be able to answer him that reproacheth me; For I trust in thy promise.
43 Ne forprenu tute de mia buŝo la vorton de vero, Ĉar mi esperas al Viaj juĝoj.
O take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth! For I trust in thy judgments.
44 Kaj mi konservos Vian instruon Ĉiam kaj eterne.
So shall I keep thy law continually, For ever and ever.
45 Kaj mi iros en libereco, Ĉar mi serĉas Viajn ordonojn.
I shall walk in a wide path; For I seek thy precepts.
46 Kaj mi parolos pri Viaj leĝoj antaŭ reĝoj, Kaj mi ne hontos.
I will speak of thine ordinances before kings, And will not be ashamed.
47 Kaj mi havos plezuron de Viaj ordonoj, Kiujn mi amas.
I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I love;
48 Kaj mi etendos miajn manojn al Viaj ordonoj, kiujn mi amas, Kaj mi meditos pri Viaj leĝoj.
I will lift up my hands to thy precepts, which I love; I will meditate on thy statutes.
49 Rememoru la vorton al Via sklavo, Pri kio Vi min esperigis.
Remember thy promise to thy servant, Because thou hast caused me to hope!
50 Ĉi tio estas mia konsolo en mia mizero, Ke Via vorto min revivigas.
This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy promise reviveth me.
51 Fieruloj tre forte min mokas, Sed de Via instruo mi ne dekliniĝis.
The proud have had me greatly in derision; Yet have I not swerved from thy law.
52 Mi rememoras Viajn juĝojn de tempoj tre antikvaj, ho Eternulo, Kaj mi konsoliĝas.
I remember thy judgments of old, O LORD! And I comfort myself.
53 Flama furiozo min kaptas pro la malvirtuloj, Kiuj forlasas Vian leĝon.
Indignation burneth within me, On account of the wicked who forsake thy law.
54 Viaj leĝoj estas por mi kantoj En la domo de mia migrado.
Thy statutes have been my song In the house of my pilgrimage.
55 Mi rememoras en la nokto Vian nomon, ho Eternulo, Kaj mi plenumas Vian instruon.
In the night, O LORD! I think of thy name, And keep thy law!
56 Tio fariĝis al mi, Ĉar mi observas Viajn ordonojn.
This have I as my own, That I keep thy precepts.
57 Mi diris: Mia sortaĵo estas, ho Eternulo, Plenumi Viajn vortojn.
Thou art my portion, O LORD! I have resolved that I will keep thy precepts.
58 Mi petegas antaŭ Vi per la tuta koro: Korfavoru min, konforme al Via vorto.
I have sought thy favor with my whole heart; Be gracious unto me according to thy promise!
59 Mi esploris miajn vojojn Kaj direktis miajn paŝojn al Viaj leĝoj.
I think on my ways, And turn my feet to thy statutes;
60 Mi rapidas kaj ne prokrastas, Por plenumi Viajn ordonojn.
I make haste, and delay not, To keep thy commandments.
61 Retoj de malvirtuloj min ĉirkaŭis; Sed Vian instruon mi ne forgesis.
The snares of the wicked surround me; Yet do I not forget thy law.
62 En la mezo de la nokto mi leviĝas, Por glori Vin por Viaj justaj juĝoj.
At midnight I rise to give thanks to thee On account of thy righteous judgments.
63 Mi estas kamarado por ĉiuj, Kiuj Vin timas kaj kiuj observas Viajn ordonojn.
I am the companion of all who fear thee, And who obey thy precepts.
64 De Via boneco, ho Eternulo, la tero estas plena; Instruu al mi Viajn leĝojn.
The earth, O LORD! is full of thy goodness; O teach me thy statutes!
65 Bonon Vi faris al Via sklavo, ho Eternulo, Konforme al Via vorto.
Thou dost bless thy servant, O LORD! According to thy promise!
66 Bonajn morojn kaj scion instruu al mi, Ĉar al Viaj ordonoj mi kredas.
Teach me sound judgment and knowledge! For I have faith in thy commandments.
67 Antaŭ ol mi suferis, mi erarvagis, Sed nun mi observas Vian vorton.
Before I was afflicted, I went astray; But now I keep thy word.
68 Vi estas bona kaj bonfara; Instruu al mi Viajn leĝojn.
Thou art good and doest good; O teach me thy statutes!
69 Fieruloj plektis mensogon pri mi; Sed mi per la tuta koro konservas Viajn ordonojn.
The proud forge lies against me, But I keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
70 Grasiĝis kiel sebo ilia koro; Sed mi havas plezuron de Via instruo.
Their heart is senseless like fat; But I delight in thy law.
71 Bone estas al mi, ke mi suferis, Por ke mi lernu Viajn leĝojn.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I might learn thy statutes.
72 Pli bona estas por mi la instruo de Via buŝo, Ol miloj da oreroj kaj arĝenteroj.
The law of thy mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Viaj manoj min kreis kaj fortikigis; Prudentigu min, kaj mi lernu Viajn ordonojn.
Thy hands have made and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments!
74 Viaj timantoj min vidos kaj ĝojos, Ĉar mi fidis Vian vorton.
They who fear thee shall see me and rejoice, Because I trust in thy word.
75 Mi scias, ho Eternulo, ke Viaj juĝoj estas justaj, Kaj ke Vi juste min suferigis.
I know, O LORD! that thy judgments are right, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.
76 Via boneco estu do mia konsolo, Konforme al Via vorto al Via sklavo.
O let thy loving-kindness be my comfort, According to thy promise to thy servant!
77 Venu sur min Via favorkoreco, ke mi vivu; Ĉar Via instruo estas mia plezuro.
Let thy tender mercies come to me, that I may live! For thy law is my delight.
78 Hontiĝu la fieruloj, ĉar maljuste ili min premis; Mi meditos pri Viaj ordonoj.
May the proud be put to shame, who wrong me without cause! But I will meditate on thy precepts.
79 Turniĝu al mi Viaj timantoj Kaj la konantoj de Viaj leĝoj.
Let those who fear thee turn unto me, And they that know thine ordinances!
80 Mia koro estu ĝusta, laŭ Viaj leĝoj, Por ke mi ne hontiĝu.
May my heart be perfect in thy statutes, That I may not be put to shame!
81 Mia animo avidas Vian savon; Vian vorton mi fidas.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation; In thy promise do I trust.
82 Miaj okuloj avidas Vian vorton, dirante: Kiam Vi min konsolos?
Mine eyes fail with looking for thy promise; When. say I, wilt thou comfort me?
83 Ĉar mi fariĝis kiel felsako en fumo; Sed Viajn leĝojn mi ne forgesas.
Yea, I am become like a bottle in the smoke; Yet do I not forget thy statutes.
84 Kiom estos la tagoj de Via sklavo? Kiam Vi faros juĝon super miaj persekutantoj?
How many are the days of thy servant? When wilt thou execute judgment upon my persecutors?
85 Fosojn fosis al mi la fieruloj, Kontraŭe al Viaj leĝoj.
The proud have digged pits for me; They who do not regard thy law.
86 Ĉiuj Viaj ordonoj estas vero; Maljuste oni min persekutas; helpu min.
All thy commandments are faithful; They persecute me without cause; help thou me!
87 Oni preskaŭ pereigis min de sur la tero, Sed mi ne forlasis Viajn ordonojn.
They had almost consumed me from the earth; But I forsook not thy precepts.
88 Laŭ Via boneco vivigu min, Kaj mi observos la ordonojn de Via buŝo.
Quicken me according to thy loving-kindness, That I may keep the law of thy mouth!
89 Por eterne, ho Eternulo, Via vorto staras forte en la ĉielo.
Thy word, O LORD! abideth for ever, Being established like the heavens;
90 Por ĉiuj generacioj restas Via vero; Vi fortikigis la teron, kaj ĝi staras.
Thy faithfulness endureth to all generations. Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
91 Laŭ Viaj leĝoj ĉio nun staras, Ĉar ĉio estas Viaj sklavoj.
They continue to this day according to their ordinances; For they are all subject to thee.
92 Se Via instruo ne estus mia konsolo, Mi pereus en mia mizero.
Had not thy law been my delight, I should have perished in my affliction.
93 Neniam mi forgesos Viajn ordonojn, Ĉar per ili Vi min vivigas.
I will never forget thy precepts; For by them thou revivest me.
94 Al Vi mi apartenas; Helpu min, ĉar mi serĉas Viajn ordonojn.
I am thine, help me! For I seek thy precepts.
95 Pri mi embuskis malvirtuloj, por min pereigi; Sed mi studas Viajn leĝojn.
The wicked lie in wait to destroy me; But I will have regard to thine ordinances.
96 Ĉe ĉiu afero mi vidis finon; Sed Via ordono estas tre vasta.
I have seen an end of all perfection; But thy law is exceeding broad.
97 Kiel mi amas Vian instruon! La tutan tagon mi meditas pri ĝi.
O how I love thy law! It is my daily (meditation)
98 Via ordono faras min pli saĝa ol miaj malamikoj, Ĉar ĝi restas al mi por ĉiam.
Thou hast made me wiser than my enemies by thy precepts; For they are ever before me.
99 Mi fariĝis pli saĝa, ol ĉiuj miaj instruantoj, Ĉar Viaj leĝoj estas mia tuta meditado.
I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thine ordinances are my (meditation)
100 Mi estas pli scianta ol maljunuloj, Ĉar Viajn ordonojn mi konservas.
I have more wisdom than the ancients, Because I keep thy precepts.
101 De ĉiu malbona vojo mi detenas mian piedon, Por plenumi Vian vorton.
I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I might keep thy word.
102 De Viaj decidoj mi ne dekliniĝas, Ĉar Vi min gvidas.
I depart not from thy statutes, For thou teachest me!
103 Kiel dolĉa estas por mia palato Via vorto! Pli ol mielo por mia buŝo!
How sweet are thy words to my taste; Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 De Viaj ordonoj mi prudentiĝas; Tial mi malamas ĉiun vojon de malvero.
From thy precepts I learn wisdom; Therefore do I hate every false way.
105 Via vorto estas lumilo por miaj piedoj, Kaj lumo por mia vojo.
Thy word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path.
106 Mi ĵuris, kaj mi plenumos: Observi Viajn justajn decidojn.
I have sworn, and I will perform it, That I will keep thy righteous statutes.
107 Mi estas tre senfortigita, ho Eternulo; Vivigu min, konforme al Via vorto.
I am exceedingly afflicted; Revive me, O LORD! according to thy word!
108 La oferdono de mia buŝo plaĉu al Vi, ho Eternulo, Kaj pri Viaj decidoj instruu min.
Accept, O LORD! the free-will offering of my mouth, And teach me thy statutes!
109 Mia animo estas ĉiam en mia mano, Sed Vian instruon mi ne forgesas.
My life is continually in my hand; Yet do I not forget thy law.
110 La malvirtuloj metis reton por mi; Sed de Viaj ordonoj mi ne dekliniĝis.
The wicked lay snares for me, Yet do I not go astray from thy precepts.
111 Mi heredigis al mi Viajn ordonojn por ĉiam, Ĉar ili estas la ĝojo de mia koro.
I have made thine ordinances my possession for ever; For they are the joy of my heart.
112 Mi klinis mian koron, Por plenumi Viajn leĝojn eterne ĝis la fino.
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes, Always, —even to the end.
113 Skeptikulojn mi malamas, Sed Vian instruon mi amas.
I hate impious men, And thy law I do love.
114 Vi estas mia ŝirmo kaj ŝildo; Vian vorton mi fidas.
Thou art my hiding-place and my shield; In thy word I put my trust!
115 Foriĝu de mi, malbonagantoj; Mi observos la ordonojn de mia Dio.
Depart from me, ye evil-doers! For I will keep the commandments of my God.
116 Subtenu min laŭ Via diro, ke mi vivu; Kaj ne hontigu min pri mia espero.
Uphold me according to thy promise, that I may live; And let me not be ashamed of my hope!
117 Fortikigu min, ke mi saviĝu, Kaj mi ĉiam havos plezuron de Viaj leĝoj.
Do thou hold me up, and I shall be safe, And I will have respect to thy statutes continually!
118 Vi forpuŝas ĉiujn, kiuj dekliniĝas de Viaj leĝoj, Ĉar ilia falsaĵo estas mensoga.
Thou castest off all who depart from thy laws; For their deceit is vain.
119 Kiel skorion Vi forĵetas ĉiujn malvirtulojn sur la tero; Tial mi amas Viajn decidojn.
Thou throwest away all the wicked of the earth, like dross; Therefore I love thine ordinances.
120 De Via teruro tremas mia karno, Kaj Viajn juĝojn mi timas.
My flesh trembleth through fear of thee, And I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 Mi faris juĝon kaj justecon; Ne transdonu min al miaj premantoj.
I have done justice and equity; O leave me not to mine oppressors.
122 Garantie liberigu Vian sklavon por bono, Por ke fieruloj min ne premu.
Be surety for thy servant for good; Let not the proud oppress me!
123 Miaj okuloj sopiras Vian helpon Kaj Vian justan vorton.
Mine eyes fail with looking for thy help, And for thy righteous promise.
124 Agu kun Via sklavo laŭ Via boneco, Kaj Viajn leĝojn instruu al mi.
Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, And teach me thy statutes!
125 Mi estas Via sklavo; Klerigu min, ke mi sciu Viajn decidojn.
I am thy servant; give me understanding, That I may know thine ordinances!
126 Estas tempo, ke la Eternulo agu: Ili rompis Vian leĝon.
It is time for thee, O LORD! to act; For men have made void thy law.
127 Tial mi amas Viajn ordonojn Pli ol oron, eĉ ol puran oron.
Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; Yea, above fine gold.
128 Tial mi estimas ĉiujn Viajn ordonojn, Ĉiun vojon de malvero mi malamas.
Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; I hate every false way.
129 Mirindaj estas Viaj decidoj; Tial mia animo ilin konservas.
Wonderful are thine ordinances; Therefore do I observe them.
130 Malkaŝo de Via vorto klerigas, Ĝi prudentigas simplanimulojn.
The communication of thy precepts giveth light; It giveth understanding to the simple.
131 Mi malfermas mian buŝon kaj enspiras, Ĉar mi deziregas Viajn ordonojn.
I open my mouth and pant: For I long for thy commandments.
132 Turnu Vin al mi kaj korfavoru min, Kiel Vi agas kun la amantoj de Via nomo.
Look thou upon me, and be gracious to me, As is just to those who love thy name!
133 Direktu miajn paŝojn laŭ Via promeso; Kaj nenia malhonesteco ekregu super mi.
Establish my footsteps in thy word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me!
134 Liberigu min de homa premado; Kaj mi observos Viajn ordonojn.
Redeem me from the oppression of men, So will I keep thy precepts!
135 Lumu per Via vizaĝo sur Vian sklavon, Kaj instruu al mi Viajn leĝojn.
Let thy face shine on thy servant, And teach me thy statutes!
136 Torentojn da akvo elverŝas miaj okuloj, Pro tio, ke oni ne plenumas Vian instruon.
Rivers of water run down mine eyes, Because men keep not thy law.
137 Justulo Vi estas, ho Eternulo, Kaj justaj estas Viaj juĝoj.
Righteous art thou, O LORD! And just are thy judgments!
138 Vi aperigis Viajn decidojn Kun justeco kaj plena vero.
Just are the ordinances which thou hast ordained, And altogether righteous.
139 Elturmentis min mia fervoro, Ĉar miaj malamikoj forgesis Viajn vortojn.
My zeal consumeth me, Because my enemies forget thy word.
140 Tre pura estas Via vorto, Kaj Via sklavo ĝin amas.
Thy word is very pure, Therefore thy servant loveth it.
141 Mi estas malgranda kaj malestimata; Sed Viajn ordonojn mi ne forgesas.
Of mean condition am I, and despised; Yet do I not forget thy precepts.
142 Via justeco estas justeco eterna, Kaj Via instruo estas vero.
Thy righteousness is everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth.
143 Sufero kaj mizero min trafis; Sed Viaj ordonoj estas mia plezuro.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold of me, But thy laws are my delight.
144 La justeco de Viaj decidoj estas eterna; Klerigu min, por ke mi vivu.
The justice of thine ordinances is everlasting; Give me understanding, and I shall live!
145 Mi vokas el la tuta koro; aŭskultu min, ho Eternulo; Mi plenumos Viajn leĝojn.
I cry to thee with my whole heart; Hear me, O LORD! that I may keep thy statutes.
146 Mi vokas al Vi; savu min, Kaj mi konservos Viajn decidojn.
I cry unto thee; save me, And I will observe thine ordinances.
147 Antaŭ la matenruĝo mi vokas; Vian vorton mi fidas.
I come before the dawn with my prayer; I trust in thy promise!
148 Antaŭ la noktaj gardopartoj miaj okuloj vekiĝas, Por ke mi meditu pri Via vorto.
My eyes anticipate the night-watches, That I may meditate upon thy promise.
149 Mian voĉon aŭskultu, laŭ Via boneco, ho Eternulo; Laŭ Via justeco lasu min vivi.
Hear my voice according to thy loving-kindness; O LORD! revive me according to thy mercy!
150 Alproksimiĝas malicaj persekutantoj; Malproksimaj ili estas de Via leĝo.
Near are they whose aim is mischief; They are far from thy law;
151 Proksima Vi estas, ho Eternulo; Kaj ĉiuj Viaj ordonoj estas vero.
Yet thou art near, O LORD! And all thy commandments are truth!
152 De longe mi scias pri Viaj decidoj, Ke Vi fiksis ilin por ĉiam.
Long have I known concerning thine ordinances, That thou hast founded them for ever.
153 Rigardu mian mizeron, kaj liberigu min, Ĉar Vian instruon mi ne forgesis.
Look upon my affliction, and deliver me! For I do not forget thy law.
154 Defendu mian aferon, kaj liberigu min; Laŭ Via vorto lasu min vivi.
Maintain my cause, and redeem me; Revive me according to thy promise!
155 Malproksima de malvirtuloj estas savo, Ĉar ili ne ŝatas Viajn leĝojn.
Salvation is far from the wicked, Because they seek not thy statutes.
156 Via favorkoreco estas granda, ho Eternulo; Laŭ Via justeco lasu min vivi.
Great is thy compassion, O LORD! Revive thou me according to thine equity!
157 Multaj estas miaj persekutantoj kaj premantoj, Sed de Viaj decidoj mi ne dekliniĝis.
Many are my persecutors and my enemies, Yet do I not depart from thine ordinances.
158 Mi vidis perfidulojn, kaj mi ilin abomenis, Ĉar Vian vorton ili ne observis.
I behold the transgressors, and am grieved Because they regard not thy word.
159 Rigardu, mi amas Viajn ordonojn; Ho Eternulo, laŭ Via boneco lasu min vivi.
Behold, how I love thy precepts! O LORD! revive me according to thy loving-kindness!
160 La esenco de Via vorto estas vero, Kaj eterna estas ĉiu juĝo de Via justeco.
The whole of thy word is truth, And all thy righteous judgments endure for ever.
161 Princoj persekutas min senkaŭze; Sed Vian vorton timas mia koro.
Princes have persecuted me without cause; But my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
162 Mi ĝojas pri Via vorto, Kiel ricevinto de granda akiro.
I rejoice in thy word, As one that hath found great spoil.
163 Malveron mi malamas kaj abomenas; Vian instruon mi amas.
I hate and abhor lying, And thy law do I love.
164 Sepfoje ĉiutage mi Vin gloras Por Viaj justaj juĝoj.
Seven times a day do I praise thee On account of thy righteous judgments.
165 Grandan pacon havas la amantoj de Via instruo; Kaj ili ne falpuŝiĝas.
Great peace have they who love thy law, And no evil shall befall them.
166 Mi atendas Vian savon, ho Eternulo, Viajn ordonojn mi plenumas.
O LORD! I wait for thy salvation, And keep thy commandments!
167 Mia animo observas Viajn decidojn, Kaj mi ilin forte amas.
My soul observeth thine ordinances, And loveth them exceedingly.
168 Mi observas Viajn ordonojn kaj decidojn, Ĉar ĉiuj miaj vojoj estas antaŭ Vi.
I keep thy precepts and thine ordinances; For all my ways are before thee.
169 Mia krio venu al Vi, ho Eternulo; Laŭ Via vorto klerigu min.
Let my prayer come near before thee, O LORD! According to thy promise, give me understanding!
170 Mia petego venu al Vi; Laŭ Via diro savu min.
Let my supplication come before thee; O deliver me according to thy promise!
171 Miaj lipoj eldiru gloradon, Ĉar Vi instruas al mi Viajn leĝojn.
My lips shall pour forth praise; For thou teachest me thy statutes.
172 Mia lango predikos pri Via vorto, Ĉar ĉiuj Viaj ordonoj estas justaj.
My tongue shall sing of thy word; For all thy commandments are right.
173 Via mano estu al mi helpo, Ĉar Viajn ordonojn mi elektis.
Let thy hand be my help; For I have chosen thy precepts!
174 Mi deziregas Vian savon, ho Eternulo, Kaj Via instruo estas mia plezuro.
I long for thy salvation, O LORD! And thy law is my delight!
175 Mia animo vivu kaj gloru Vin, Kaj Viaj juĝoj min helpu.
Let me live, and I will praise thee; Let thy judgments help me!
176 Mi erarvagis kiel perdita ŝafo; Elserĉu Vian sklavon, ĉar Viajn ordonojn mi ne forgesis.
I wander like a lost sheep; seek thy servant, For I do not forget thy commandments!
