Psalmaro 111

1 Haleluja! Mi gloras la Eternulon per mia tuta koro, En rondo de piuloj kaj en kunveno.

Hallelujah. I will thank the Lord with all [my] heart, in the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 Grandaj estas la faroj de la Eternulo, Serĉataj de ĉiuj, kiuj ilin amas.

Great are the works of the Lord, they are sought for [by them] in all their desires.

3 Bela kaj majesta estas Lia verko, Kaj Lia justeco restas eterne.

Glorious and majestic is his doing, and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 Memorindaj Li faris Siajn miraklojn; Kompatema kaj favorkora estas la Eternulo.

He hath made a memorial for his wonderful works: gracious and merciful is the Lord.

5 Li donas manĝon al tiuj, kiuj Lin timas; Li memoras eterne Sian interligon.

He hath given sustenance unto those that fear him: he will for ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 La potencon de Siaj fortoj Li aperigis al Sia popolo, Doninte al ili la heredon de gentoj.

The power of his works hath he told unto his people, that he might give them the heritage of nations.

7 La faroj de Liaj manoj estas vero kaj justeco; Perfektaj estas ĉiuj Liaj ordonoj;

The works of his hands are truth and justice: faultless are all his precepts.

8 Ili estas fortikaj por eterne, Faritaj per vero kaj honesto.

They are well supported for ever and eternally: they are framed in truth and uprightness.

9 Liberigon Li sendis al Sia popolo; Li aranĝis por ĉiam Sian interligon. Sankta kaj respektinda estas Lia nomo.

Redemption hath he sent unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and to be feared is his name.

10 Komenco de saĝeco estas timo antaŭ la Eternulo; Bonan prudenton havas ĉiuj plenumantoj. Lia gloro restas eterne.

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord; a good understanding have all that fulfill [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
