Psalmaro 105
1 Gloru la Eternulon, voku Lian nomon; Sciigu inter la popoloj Liajn farojn.
Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his Name, Make known, among the peoples, his doings;
2 Kantu al Li, muziku al Li; Parolu pri ĉiuj Liaj mirakloj.
Sing ye to him, Make ye music to him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
3 Laŭdu Lian sanktan nomon; Ĝoju la koro de tiuj, kiuj serĉas la Eternulon.
Make your boast in his holy Name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
4 Turnu vin al la Eternulo kaj al Lia potenco; Serĉu ĉiam Lian vizaĝon.
Search out Yahweh and his strength, Seek diligently his face at all times.
5 Memoru Liajn miraklojn, kiujn Li faris, Liajn signomiraklojn kaj la juĝojn de Lia buŝo;
Remember his wonders which he hath done, His portents, and the just decisions of his mouth.
6 Vi, semo de Abraham, Lia sklavo, Filoj de Jakob, Liaj elektitoj.
O ye Seed of Abraham—his servants, Sons of Jacob—his chosen ones:
7 Li estas la Eternulo, nia Dio; Sur la tuta tero estas Liaj juĝoj.
Yahweh himself, is our God, Through all the land, are his just decision.
8 Li memoras eterne Sian interligon, La vorton, kiun Li testamentis por mil generacioj,
He hath remembered, unto times age-abiding, his covenant, The word he commanded, to a thousand generations;
9 Kiun Li interkonsentis kun Abraham Kaj ĵuris al Isaak.
Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
10 Li metis ĝin por Jakob kiel leĝon, Por Izrael kiel eternan interligon,
And confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel, as a covenant age-abiding;
11 Dirante: Al vi Mi donos la landon Kanaanan Kiel vian parton heredan.
Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, As your inherited portion;
12 Kiam ili estis malgrandnombraj, Malmultaj, kaj fremduloj en ĝi,
While as yet they were men easily counted, —A very few, and sojourners therein;
13 Kaj ili iradis de popolo al popolo, El unu regno al alia gento,
And they wandered from nation to nation, From a kingdom, to another people.
14 Tiam Li al neniu permesis premi ilin, Kaj Li punis pro ili reĝojn, dirante:
He suffered no son of earth to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—[even] kings!
15 Ne tuŝu Miajn sanktoleitojn, Kaj al Miaj profetoj ne faru malbonon.
Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
16 Kaj Li sendis malsaton en la landon, Rompis ĉion, kio portis panon.
Then called he a famine over the land, All the staff of bread, he brake;
17 Li sendis antaŭ ili homon: Jozef estis vendita kiel sklavo.
He sent before them a man, For a slave, was he sold—[even] Joseph;
18 Oni enpremis liajn piedojn en katenojn, Fero ŝarĝis lian korpon,
They forced, into a fetter, his foot, Into the iron, entered his soul;
19 Ĝis la tempo, kiam venis Lia vorto; La parolo de la Eternulo lin elprovis.
Until the time when his word came to pass, Speech of Yahweh, proved him;
20 Reĝo sendis kaj malligis lin, Reganto super popoloj liberigis lin;
The king sent, and set him free, One having dominion over peoples, yet loosed he his bonds;
21 Li faris lin sinjoro super lia domo Kaj reganto super lia tuta havo,
He appointed him lord to his household, And one having dominion over all he possessed;
22 Ke li submetu al si liajn eminentulojn Kaj saĝigu liajn maljunulojn.
That he might bind his rulers as he pleased, And, his elders, he might embue with wisdom.
23 Kaj Izrael venis en Egiptujon, Kaj Jakob enmigris en la landon de Ĥam.
So Israel came into Egypt, And, Jacob, sojourned in the land of Ham;
24 Kaj Li tre kreskigis Sian popolon, Kaj faris ĝin pli forta ol ĝiaj malamikoj.
And he made his people exceeding fruitful, —And caused them to become stronger than their adversaries.
25 Li malĝustigis ilian koron, Ke ili ekmalamis Lian popolon, ekruzis kontraŭ Liaj sklavoj.
He let them turn their heart—To hate his people, To deal treacherously with his servants;
26 Li sendis Moseon, Sian sklavon, Kaj Aaronon, kiun Li elektis.
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 Ili faris inter ili Liajn pruvosignojn Kaj miraklojn en la lando de Ĥam.
He set among them his threatening signs, And his wonders, in the land of Ham;
28 Li sendis mallumon kaj mallumigis; Kaj ili ne atentis Liajn vortojn.
He sent darkness, and made it dark, But they rebelled against his words;
29 Li ŝanĝis ilian akvon en sangon, Kaj senvivigis iliajn fiŝojn.
He turned their waters into blood, And so caused their fish to die;
30 Ilia tero eksvarmigis ranojn, En la ĉambroj de iliaj reĝoj.
Their land swarmed with frogs, In the chambers of their kings!
31 Li diris, kaj venis fiinsektoj, Pedikoj en ĉiuj iliaj regionoj.
He spake, and there came in the gad-fly, Gnats, in all their bounds;
32 Antataŭ pluvo Li donis al ili hajlon, Flamantan fajron en ilia lando.
He made their showers—hail, A fire flaming throughout their land;
33 Li batis iliajn vinbertrunkojn kaj iliajn figarbojn, Kaj rompis la arbojn en iliaj limoj.
And he smote their vines, and their fig-trees, And brake in pieces the trees of their bounds;
34 Li diris, kaj venis akridoj kaj skaraboj sennombraj
He spake—then came the swarming locust, —The devouring locust, and that without number;
35 Kaj formanĝis la tutan herbon en ilia lando Kaj formanĝis la produktojn de ilia tero.
And devoured all the herbage in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 Kaj Li mortigis ĉiujn unuenaskitojn en ilia lando, La komencaĵojn de ĉiuj iliaj fortoj.
Then smote he every firstborn in their land, The beginning of all their strength;
37 Sed ilin Li elkondukis kun arĝento kaj oro, Kaj en iliaj triboj estis neniu kadukulo.
Thus brought he them forth, with silver and gold, Nor was there, throughout his tribes, one that faltered;
38 Ĝojis Egiptujo, kiam ili eliris, Ĉar atakis ĝin timo antaŭ ili.
Egypt rejoiced when they went out, For the dread of them had fallen upon them.
39 Li etendis nubon, kiel kovron; Kaj fajron, por ke ĝi lumu en la nokto.
He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire, to give light by night,
40 Ili petis, kaj Li sendis koturnojn, Kaj per pano ĉiela Li ilin satigis.
They asked, and he brought in the quail, —And, with the bread of the heavens, he satisfied them;
41 Li malfermis rokon, Kaj ekfluis akvo kaj ekiris kiel rivero en la dezerto.
He opened the rock, and there gushed forth waters, They flowed along, through parched places, as a river;
42 Ĉar Li memoris Sian sanktan vorton Al Abraham, Sia sklavo.
For he remembered his holy word, With Abraham his servant.
43 Kaj Li elkondukis Sian popolon en ĝojo, Siajn elektitojn kun kantado.
Thus brought he forth his people with gladness, —With shouts of triumph, his chosen ones;
44 Kaj Li donis al ili la landojn de popoloj, Kaj la laboron de gentoj ili heredis;
And gave them, the lands of the nations, And, of the toil of the peoples, took they possession:
45 Por ke ili plenumu Liajn leĝojn Kaj konservu Liajn instruojn. Haleluja!
In order that they might observe his statutes, And, over his laws, might keep watch, Praise ye Yah.
