Miĥa 7

1 Ho ve al mi! ĉar mi fariĝis kiel kolektanto de someraj fruktoj kaj de restaĵo de vinberoj, kiu ne trovas beron manĝeblan; bonan maturan frukton deziras mia animo.

Woe is me! I live where the summer fruits are gathered, And the vintage is gleaned; There is no cluster to eat; I long for the first-ripe fig.

2 Malaperis piuloj en la lando, kaj ne troviĝas justulo inter la homoj; ĉiuj insidas, por verŝi sangon, unu la alian ĉasas, por pereigi lin.

The good man is perished from the land, And there is none upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; Every one hunteth his brother with a net.

3 Por pravigi malbonan faron, la estro postulas donacon kaj la juĝisto pagon; la altrangulo parolas, kion li volas, kaj konfuzas la aferojn.

Their hands are diligent for evil; The prince asketh a bribe, And the judge decideth for money! The great man giveth judgment according to his desire; They conspire to pervert justice.

4 La plej bona inter ili estas kiel dornarbetaĵo, la justulo estas kiel pikaĵa barilo. Sed venos la tago de Via esploro, de Via puno; tiam ili ne scios, kion fari.

The best of them is like a brier; The most upright of them is sharper than a thorn-hedge. The day of recompense, announced by thy watchmen, cometh; Then shall come their perplexity.

5 Ne kredu al proksimulo, ne fidu amikon; kontraŭ tiu, kiu kuŝas ĉe via brusto, gardu la aperturon de via buŝo;

Trust ye not in a friend! Put no confidence in a guide! From her that lieth in thy bosom Keep the doors of thy mouth!

6 ĉar filo malhonoras patron, filino batalas kontraŭ sia patrino, bofilino kontraŭ sia bopatrino; la domanoj de homo estas liaj malamikoj.

For the son dishonoreth his father, The daughter riseth up against her mother, And the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; The inmates of a man's house are his foes.

7 Sed mi rigardas al la Eternulo, mi fidas la Dion de mia savo; mia Dio min aŭskultos.

I will look to Jehovah; I will hope in the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.

8 Ne ĝoju pri mi, mia malamikino: kvankam mi falis, mi releviĝos; kvankam mi estas en mallumo, la Eternulo estas lumo por mi.

Rejoice not over me, O my enemy! Though I have fallen, I shall arise; Though I sit in darkness, Jehovah will be my light.

9 La koleron de la Eternulo mi portos, ĉar mi pekis antaŭ Li, ĝis Li esploros mian aferon kaj faros juĝon super mi; tiam Li elkondukos min en lumon, kaj mi vidos Lian bonecon.

I will bear the indignation of Jehovah, Because I have sinned against him, Until he maintain my cause, and execute judgment for me, Until he bring me to the light, And I behold his mercy.

10 Kaj tion vidos mia malamikino, kaj honto ŝin kovros pro tio, ke ŝi diris al mi: Kie estas la Eternulo, via Dio? Miaj okuloj ŝin rigardos tiam, kiam ŝi estos piedpremata, kiel koto sur la stratoj.

She that is my enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her, That said to me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall gaze upon her; Soon shall she be trodden down, as the mire of the streets.

11 En tiu tempo, kiam viaj muroj estos rekonstruataj, en tiu tempo la leĝo disvastiĝos malproksime.

The day cometh when thy walls are to be built; In that day shall the decree be far removed.

12 En tiu tempo oni venos al vi el Asirio kaj el la urboj Egiptaj, de Egiptujo ĝis la Rivero, de maro ĝis maro, kaj de monto ĝis monto.

In that day shall they come to thee From Assyria, and the cities of Egypt, And from Egypt to the river, From sea to sea, from mountain to mountain.

13 La lando estos dezerta pro ĝiaj loĝantoj, pro la fruktoj de iliaj agoj.

But first the land shall be desolate on account of its inhabitants, For the fruit of their doings.

14 Paŝtu per Via bastono Vian popolon, Vian heredan ŝafaron, kiu loĝas izolite en la arbaro, meze de Karmel; ili paŝtiĝu en Baŝan kaj Gilead, kiel en la tempo antikva.

Feed thy people with thy crook, The flock of thine inheritance, That dwell solitarily in the forest in the midst of Carmel! Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

15 Kiel en la tempo de via eliro el la lando Egipta, Mi montros al li mirindaĵojn.

As in the day when thou camest from Egypt, So will I show thee wonders.

16 La nacioj vidos kaj hontos, malgraŭ ilia tuta potenco; ili metos la manon sur la buŝon, iliaj oreloj surdiĝos.

The nations shall see, and be ashamed of all their might: They shall lay their hands upon their mouths; Their ears shall be deaf.

17 Ili lekos polvon, kiel serpento; kiel la rampaĵoj sur la tero, kun tremado ili elvenos el siaj kaŝejoj; ili ektimos la Eternulon, nian Dion, ili ekrespektos Vin.

They shall lick the dust like the serpent; Like the creeping things of the earth, they shall come trembling from their strongholds; To Jehovah our God shall they come with awe, And shall fear on account of thee.

18 Kiu estas Dio simila al Vi, kiu pardonas malbonagon kaj preterlasas la kulpon de la restaĵo de Sia heredaĵo, ne konservas por ĉiam Sian koleron, ĉar Li amas bonfari?

Who is a God like thee, that pardoneth iniquity and passeth by transgression, In the remnant of his inheritance? He retaineth not his anger forever, For he delighteth in mercy.

19 Li denove kompatos nin, malgrandigos niajn malbonagojn, kaj ĵetos en la profundon de la maro ĉiujn niajn pekojn.

He will again have compassion on us, He will blot out our iniquities; Yea, thou wilt cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

20 Vi montros fidelecon al Jakob, favorkorecon al Abraham, kiel Vi ĵuris al niaj patroj en la tempo antikva.

Thou wilt show faithfulness to Jacob, And mercy to Abraham, Which thou swarest to our fathers from the days of old.
