Mateo 15
1 Tiam alvenis al Jesuo el Jerusalem Fariseoj kaj skribistoj, dirante:
Then some Scribes and Pharisees of Jerusalem addressed him, saying,
2 Kial viaj disĉiploj transpaŝas la tradicion de la antaŭuloj? ĉar ili ne lavas siajn manojn, kiam ili manĝas panon.
Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders; for they was not their hands before meals.
3 Kaj li responde diris al ili: Kial vi ankaŭ transpaŝas la ordonon de Dio per via tradicio?
Jesus answering, saud to them, Why do you yourselves by your tradition, transgress the commandment of God?
4 Ĉar Dio diris: Respektu vian patron kaj vian patrinon; kaj: Kiu malbenas sian patron aŭ sian patrinon, tiu nepre mortu.
For God has commanded, saying, "Honor father and mother"; and "Whosoever reviles father or mother, let him be punished with death."
5 Sed vi diras: Se iu diros al sia patro aŭ al sia patrino: Oferdono estu tio, per kio vi povus profiti de mi,
But you affirm, If a man say to father or mother, I devote whatever of mine shall profit you,
6 tiu ne devas respekti sian patron aŭ sian patrinon. Kaj vi vantigis la vorton de Dio per via tradicio.
he shall not afterward honor by his assistance, his father or his mother. Thus, by your tradition, you annul the commandment of God.
7 Ho hipokrituloj, bone profetis Jesaja pri vi, dirante:
Hypocrites, well do you suit the character which Isaiah gave of you, saying,
8 Ĉi tiu popolo honoras Min per siaj lipoj, Sed ilia koro estas malproksime de Mi.
"This people honor me with their lips. though their heart is estranged from me.
9 Sed vane ili Min adoras, Instruante kiel doktrinojn ordonojn de homoj.
But in vain they worship me, while they teach institutions merely human."
10 Kaj alvokinte al si la homamason, li diris al ili: Aŭskultu kaj komprenu:
Then, having called the multitude, he said to them, Hear, and be instructed.
11 Ne tio, kio eniras en la buŝon, profanas la homon; sed kio eliras el la buŝo, tio profanas la homon.
It is not what goes into the mouth pollutes the man; but it is what proceeds out of the mouth, that pollutes the man.
12 Tiam veninte, la disĉiploj diris al li: Ĉu vi scias, ke la Fariseoj ofendiĝis, kiam ili aŭdis tiun diron?
On which his disciples accosting him, said, Did you observe how the Pharisees, when they heard that saying were offended?
13 Sed li responde diris: Ĉiu kreskaĵo, kiun mia ĉiela Patro ne plantis, estos elradikigita.
He answered, Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, shall be extirpated.
14 Lasu ilin; ili estas blindaj kondukantoj de blinduloj. Kaj se blindulo kondukos blindulon, ambaŭ falos en fosaĵon.
Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind; and if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into the ditch.
15 Kaj Petro responde diris al li: Klarigu al ni tiun parabolon.
Then Peter addressing him, said, Explain to us that parable.
16 Kaj li diris: Ĉu vi ankaŭ estas eĉ ankoraŭ sen kompreno?
Jesus answered, Are you also void of understanding?
17 Ĉu vi ne konscias, ke ĉio, eniranta en la buŝon, pasas en la ventron kaj estas elĵetata en apartan lokon?
Do you not apprehend, that whatever enters the mouth passes into the stomach, and is thrown out into the sink.
18 Sed tio, kio eliras el la buŝo, elvenas el la koro, kaj profanas la homon.
But that which proceeds out of the mouth, issues from the heart, and so pollutes the man.
19 Ĉar el la koro eliras malvirtaj pensoj, mortigoj, adultoj, malĉastaĵoj, ŝteloj, falsatestoj, blasfemoj:
For out of the heart proceed malicious contrivances, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, calumnies.
20 jen tio, kio profanas la homon, sed manĝi kun manoj nelavitaj ne profanas la homon.
These are the things which pollute the man; but to eat with unwashed hands pollutes not the man.
21 Kaj elirinte de tie, Jesuo foriris en la regionojn apud Tiro kaj Cidon.
Then Jesus withdrew into the confines of Tyre and Sidon;
22 Kaj jen virino Kanaana, veninte el tiuj limlandoj, kriis, dirante: Ho Sinjoro, filo de David, kompatu min; mia filino estas terure turmentata de demono.
and behold! a Canaanitish woman of these territories came to him, crying, Master, Son of David, have pity on me; my daughter is grievously afflicted by a demon.
23 Sed li ne respondis al ŝi eĉ unu vorton. Kaj alveninte, liaj disĉiploj petis lin, dirante: Forsendu ŝin, ĉar ŝi krias post ni.
But he gave her no answer. Then his disciples interposed, and entreated him, saying, Dismiss her, for she clamors after us.
24 Kaj li responde diris: Mi ne estas sendita, krom al la perditaj ŝafoj el la domo de Izrael.
He answering said, My mission is only to the lost sheep of the stock of Israel.
25 Sed ŝi venis kaj adorkliniĝis al li, dirante: Sinjoro, helpu min.
She, nevertheless, advanced, and prostrating herself before him, said, O Lord, help me.
26 Sed li responde diris: Ne decas preni la panon de la infanoj kaj ĵeti ĝin al la hundetoj.
He replied, It is not seemly to take the children's bread, and throw it to the dogs.
27 Sed ŝi diris: Jes, Sinjoro; ĉar eĉ la hundetoj manĝas el la panpecetoj, kiuj falas de la tablo de iliaj sinjoroj.
True, Sir, returned she. Yet even the dogs are allowed the crumbs which fall from their master's table.
28 Tiam responde Jesuo diris al ŝi: Ho virino, granda estas via fido; estu al vi, kiel vi volas. Kaj ŝia filino estis sanigita de post tiu horo.
Then Jesus, answering, said to her, O woman! great is your faith. Be it to you as you desire. And that instant her daughter was healed.
29 Kaj transirinte de tie, Jesuo venis apud la maron de Galileo; kaj suprenirinte sur la monton, li sidiĝis tie.
Jesus having left that place, came nigh to the sea of Galilee, and repaired to a mountain, where he sat down;
30 Kaj alvenis al li grandaj homamasoj, havante kun si homojn lamajn, blindajn, mutajn, kriplajn, kun multaj aliaj, kaj metis ilin apud liajn piedojn; kaj li sanigis ilin;
and great multitudes flocked to him, bringing with them the lame, the blind, the dumb, the cripple, and several others, whom they laid at his feet; and he healed them:
31 tiel ke la homamaso miris, vidante mutulojn parolantaj, kriplulojn sanaj, kaj lamulojn piedirantaj, kaj blindulojn vidantaj; kaj ili gloris la Dion de Izrael.
insomuch that the people beheld, with admiration, the dumb speaking, the cripple sound, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
32 Kaj Jesuo, alvokinte al si siajn disĉiplojn, diris: Mi kortuŝiĝas pro la homamaso, ĉar jam tri tagojn ili restas ĉe mi, kaj nenion havas manĝi; kaj mi ne volas forsendi ilin fastantaj, por ke ili ne laciĝu sur la vojo.
Then Jesus called to him his disciples, and said, I have compassion on the multitude because they have now attended me three days, and have nothing to eat; I will not dismiss them fasting, lest they faint by the way.
33 Kaj la disĉiploj diris al li: De kie ni povas ricevi en la dezerto tiom da panoj, por satigi tiom da homoj?
His disciples answered, Whence can we get bread enough, in the solitude, to satisfy such a crowd?
34 Kaj Jesuo diris al ili: Kiom da panoj vi havas? Kaj ili diris: Sep, kaj kelkajn malgrandajn fiŝojn.
He asked them, How many loaves have you? They said, Seven, and a few small fishes.
35 Kaj li ordonis al la homamaso sidiĝi sur la tero;
Then commanding the people to recline upon the ground,
36 kaj li prenis la sep panojn kaj la fiŝojn; kaj doninte dankon, li dispecigis ilin, kaj donis al la disĉiploj, kaj la disĉiploj al la homamasoj.
he took the seven loaves and the fishes, which, having given thanks, he divided and gave to his disciples, who distributed them among the people.
37 Kaj ĉiuj manĝis kaj satiĝis; kaj oni kolektis da postrestintaj fragmentoj sep korbegojn plenajn.
When all had eat, and were satisfied, they carried off seven hand-baskets full of the fragments that remained.
38 Kaj la manĝantoj estis kvar mil viroj, krom virinoj kaj infanoj.
Now they that had eat were four thousand men, besides women and children.
39 Kaj forsendinte la homamasojn, li eniris en la ŝipeton, kaj venis en la regionojn de Magadan.
Then having dismissed the multitude, he embarked, and sailed to the coast of Magdala.
