1 Kaj li diris al ili: Vere mi diras al vi: Inter la ĉi tie starantaj estas iuj, kiuj neniel gustumos morton, antaŭ ol ili vidos la regnon de Dio venintan en potenco.
AND he said to them, Amen I say to you, There are some who are standing here, who shall not taste death, until they shall have seen the kingdom of Aloha come with power.
2 Kaj post ses tagoj Jesuo prenis kun si Petron kaj Jakobon kaj Johanon, kaj kondukis ilin solajn sur altan monton aparte; kaj li estis aliformita antaŭ ili;
And after six days Jeshu took Kipha, and Jacub, and Juchanon, and led them up to a high mountain by themselves. And he was altered before their eyes:
3 kaj liaj vestoj fariĝis brilantaj, treege blankaj, kiel fulisto sur la tero ne povas blankigi.
and his raiment shone, and became exceeding white as the snow; as the sons of man on earth could not make white.
4 Kaj aperis al ili Elija kun Moseo, kaj ili interparoladis kun Jesuo.
And there were seen with them Musha and Elia discoursing with Jeshu.
5 Kaj Petro responde diris al Jesuo: Rabeno, estas bone por ni esti ĉi tie; kaj ni faru tri laŭbojn: unu por vi, kaj unu por Moseo, kaj unu por Elija.
And Kipha said to him, Rabi, it is good for us here to be: and let us make three tabernacles; for thee one, and for Musha one, and for Elia one.
6 Ĉar li ne sciis, kion respondi, ĉar ili tre timiĝis.
But he knew not what he said, for they were in fear.
7 Kaj nubo superombris ilin; kaj elvenis voĉo el la nubo: Ĉi tiu estas Mia Filo, la amata; aŭskultu lin.
And there was the cloud, and it shadowed over them: and the voice was from the cloud, saying, This is my Son, the Beloved, him hear.
8 Kaj subite, ĉirkaŭrigardinte, ili jam vidis neniun krom Jesuo sola.
And instantly, while the disciples looked, they saw no man, but Jeshu alone with them.
9 Kaj dum ili malsupreniris de la monto, li admonis ilin, ke al neniu ili rakontu tion, kion ili vidis, ĝis la Filo de homo releviĝos el la mortintoj.
And while they were descending from the mountain, he charged them to tell no man what they had seen, until the Son of man should have arisen from the dead.
10 Kaj ili konservis la diron, demandante inter si, kion signifas la releviĝo el la mortintoj.
And they held discourse among themselves, and inquired what was this word, when he should have arisen from among the dead.
11 Kaj ili demandis lin, dirante: Kial diras la skribistoj, ke Elija devas veni antaŭe?
And they asked him, saying, How then say the Sophree that Elia must come before?
12 Kaj li diris al ili: Vere Elija venas antaŭe, kaj restarigas ĉion; kaj kiel estas skribite pri la Filo de homo, ke li devas multe suferi kaj esti malestimata?
He said to them, Elia doth come before, to restore all things; and how it is written concerning the Son of man, that much he should suffer, and be rejected.
13 Sed mi diras al vi, ke Elija jam venis, kaj oni faris al li ĉion, kion ili volis, kiel estas skribite pri li.
But I tell you, Elia hath also come, and they have done to him whatever they would, as it is written concerning him.
14 Kaj veninte al la disĉiploj, ili vidis grandan homamason ĉirkaŭ ili, kaj skribistojn diskutantajn kun ili.
AND when he came to his disciples, he saw with them a great crowd, and the Sophree questioning with them.
15 Kaj tuj la homamaso, vidante lin, forte miris, kaj alkuris, kaj salutis lin.
And immediately all the crowd saw him, and wondered, and ran to salute him.
16 Kaj li demandis ilin: Pri kio vi diskutas kun ili?
And he inquired of the Sophree, What dispute you with them?
17 Kaj unu el la amaso respondis al li: Majstro, mi venigis al vi mian filon, kiu havas mutan spiriton;
And one from the company answered and said, Malphona, I had brought my son to thee, because he hath a spirit which speaketh not;
18 kaj kie ajn ĝi kaptas lin, ĝi ŝiras lin, kaj li ŝaŭmas kaj grincigas la dentojn kaj kadukiĝas; kaj mi parolis al viaj disĉiploj, ke ili elpelu ĝin; kaj ili ne povis.
and when he seizeth him, he dasheth him, and teareth and grindeth his teeth, and he becometh dry. And I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out, but they could not.
19 Kaj li respondis al ili, dirante: Ho senfida generacio, ĝis kiam mi estos kun vi? ĝis kiam mi toleros vin? venigu lin al mi.
Jeshu answered, and said to him, O generation that believeth not! how long shall I be with you? how long shall I tolerate you? bring him to me.
20 Kaj ili venigis lin al li; kaj vidinte lin, tuj la spirito konvulsiigis lin, kaj li falis teren kaj ruliĝis ŝaŭmanta.
And they brought him unto him: and when the spirit saw him, he immediately dashed him, and he fell upon the ground; and was convulsed, and was torn.
21 Kaj li demandis la patron: De kiom da tempo okazadas ĉi tio al li? Kaj li diris: De infaneco.
And Jeshu asked the father, How long is it from the time from which it was thus? He saith to him, Behold, from his childhood.
22 Kaj ofte ĝi ĵetis lin en fajron kaj en akvon, por pereigi lin; sed se vi povas fari ion, kompatu al ni kaj helpu nin.
And many times he casteth him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but whatever thou canst, help me, and have mercy upon me.
23 Kaj Jesuo diris al li: Kiel, se vi povas! Ĉio estas ebla por kredanto.
Jeshu saith to him, If thou canst believe, every thing can be to him who believeth.
24 Tuj ekkriante, la patro de la infano diris: Mi kredas; helpu mian nekredemon.
And in a moment the father of the youth cried out, weeping and saying, I am believing; help the defect of my faith.
25 Kaj kiam Jesuo vidis, ke homamaso alkuras, li severe admonis la malpuran spiriton, dirante al ĝi: Vi muta kaj surda spirito, mi ordonas al vi: Eliru el li, kaj ne plu eniru en lin.
But when Jeshu saw the people running together, and assembling to him, he rebuked the unclean spirit, and said to him, Spirit, deaf and unspeaking! I command thee, come forth from him, and enter not into him again!
26 Kaj ekkriinte, kaj multe konvulsiiginte lin, ĝi eliris; kaj li fariĝis kvazaŭ mortinto, tiel ke la plimulto diris: Li mortis.
And that devil cried greatly, and crushed him, and went forth. And he became as the dead; as that many would say, He is dead.
27 Sed Jesuo, preninte lin je la mano, levis lin; kaj li stariĝis.
But Jeshu took him by the hand, and raised him.
28 Kaj kiam li eniris en la domon, liaj disĉiploj aparte demandis lin: Kial ni ne povis elpeli ĝin?
But when Jeshu had gone into the house, his disciples inquired of him by themselves, Why could not we cast him out?
29 Kaj li diris al ili: Ĉi tiu speco neniel povas eliri, krom per preĝado.
Jeshu said to them, This kind with nothing can be cast out, but by fasting and prayer.
30 Kaj foririnte, ili trapasis tra Galileo; kaj li deziris, ke neniu tion eksciu.
And when he had gone forth from thence, they passed into Galila: and he was not willing that any man should know of him.
31 Ĉar li instruadis siajn disĉiplojn, kaj diris al ili: La Filo de homo estas transdonita en la manojn de homoj, kaj ili mortigos lin; kaj, mortigite, li leviĝos post tri tagoj.
And he taught his disciples, and told them, That the Son of man would be delivered into the hands of men, and they would kill him; and that when he was slain, on the third day he should arise.
32 Sed ili ne komprenis la diron, kaj timis demandi lin.
But they understood not his word, and feared to ask him.
33 Kaj ili venis al Kapernaum, kaj kiam li estis en la domo, li demandis ilin: Pri kio vi diskutis sur la vojo?
AND they came to Kapher-nachum: and when they had entered the house, he asked them of what they had argued in the way among themselves.
34 Sed ili silentis; ĉar ili diskutis inter si sur la vojo pri tio, kiu estas la plej granda.
But they were silent: for they had contended in the way one with another, who should be greatest among them.
35 Kaj sidiĝinte, li alvokis la dek du, kaj diris al ili: Se iu volas esti unua, li estos lasta el ĉiuj, kaj servanto de ĉiuj.
And Jeshu sat, and he called the twelve, and said to them, Whoever wills to be the first, shall be the last of all, and the servant of all.
36 Kaj preninte infanon, li starigis ĝin meze de ili; kaj ĉirkaŭbrakinte ĝin, li diris al ili:
And he took a certain child, and made him stand in the midst: and he took him upon his arms, and said to them,
37 Kiu akceptos unu el tiaj infanoj en mia nomo, tiu akceptas min; kaj kiu akceptas min, tiu akceptas ne min, sed Tiun, kiu sendis min.
Every one who receiveth (one who is) as this child in my name, me he receiveth: and whoever me receiveth, not me he receiveth, but Him who sent me.
38 Johano diris al li: Majstro, ni vidis iun elpelantan demonojn en via nomo; kaj ni malpermesis lin, ĉar li ne sekvas nin.
Juchanon said to him, Rabi, we saw a man casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he did not adhere to us.
39 Sed Jesuo diris: Ne malpermesu lin; ĉar neniu, kiu faros miraklon en mia nomo, povos facile paroli malbone pri mi.
Jeshu saith to them, Forbid him not; for no man who doeth powerful works in my name, can soon speak of me that which is evil.
40 Ĉar tiu, kiu ne estas kontraŭ ni, estas por ni.
He therefore who is not against you is for you.
41 Ĉar kiu donos al vi trinki tason da akvo, pro tio, ke vi apartenas al Kristo, vere mi diras al vi, tiu neniel perdos sian rekompencon.
For every one who shall give you only a cup of waters to drink in the name that you are of the Meshicha, Amen I say to you, He shall not lose his reward.
42 Kaj kiu igos fali unu el ĉi tiuj malgranduloj, kiuj kredas al mi, estus pli bone por tiu, se granda muelŝtono estus pendigita ĉirkaŭ lia kolo, kaj se li estus ĵetita en la maron.
And every one who shall offend one of these little ones who believe in me, it had been better for him that an ass-millstone had been set to his neck, and he had been cast forth into the sea.
43 Kaj se via mano faligas vin, detranĉu ĝin: estas bone por vi eniri en vivon kripla prefere ol, havante du manojn, eniri en Gehenan, en la neestingeblan fajron, (Geenna g1067)
But if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: better for thee mutilated to go into life, than having two hands to go into gihana; (Geenna g1067)
44 kie ilia vermo ne pereas kaj la fajro ne estingiĝas.
where their worm dieth not, and their fire is not quenched.
45 Kaj se via piedo faligas vin, detranĉu ĝin: estas bone por vi eniri en vivon lama prefere ol, havante du piedojn, esti ĵetita en Gehenan, (Geenna g1067)
And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: better for thee to go into life lame, than having two feet to fall into gihana: (Geenna g1067)
46 kie ilia vermo ne pereas kaj la fajro ne estingiĝas.
where their worm dieth not, and their fire is not quenched.
47 Kaj se via okulo faligas vin, elŝiru ĝin: estas bone por vi eniri en la regnon de Dio kun unu okulo prefere ol, havante du okulojn, esti ĵetita en Gehenan, (Geenna g1067)
And if thine eye offend thee, root it out: better for thee that with one eye thou enter the kingdom of Aloha, than having two eyes to fall into the gihana of fire: (Geenna g1067)
48 kie ilia vermo ne pereas kaj la fajro ne estingiĝas.
where their worm dieth not, and their fire is not quenched.
49 Ĉar ĉiu estos salita per fajro.
For every (thing) with fire is salted, and every victim with salt shall be salted.
50 Salo estas bona; sed se la salo fariĝis nesala, kiel vi rebonigos ĝin? Havu salon en vi, kaj paciĝu unu kun alia.
Good is salt: but if the salt shall (become) insipid, how shall it be salted? Let there be in you salt, and in peace be one with another.
