Juĝistoj 10
1 Post Abimeleĥ leviĝis, por helpadi al Izrael, Tola, filo de Pua, filo de Dodo, Isaĥarido. Li loĝis en Ŝamir, sur la monto de Efraim.
And there arose after Abimelech to deliver Israel Tola' the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in the mountain of Ephraim.
2 Kaj li estis juĝisto de Izrael dum dudek tri jaroj, kaj li mortis, kaj oni enterigis lin en Ŝamir.
And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and then died, and was buried in Shamir.
3 Post li leviĝis Jair, Gileadano, kaj li estis juĝisto de Izrael dum dudek du jaroj.
And after him arose Yair, the Gil'adite, and judged Israel twenty and two years;
4 Li havis tridek filojn, kiuj rajdadis sur tridek junaj azenoj, kaj ili havis tridek urbojn; ĝis nun oni ilin nomas Vilaĝoj de Jair, kiuj estas en la lando Gilead.
And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass-colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Chavvoth-yair unto this day, which are in the land of Gil'ad.
5 Kaj Jair mortis, kaj oni enterigis lin en Kamon.
And Yair died, and was buried in Kamon.
6 Kaj la Izraelidoj plue faradis malbonon antaŭ la okuloj de la Eternulo, kaj servadis al la Baaloj kaj al la Aŝtaroj kaj al la dioj de Sirio kaj al la dioj de Cidon kaj al la dioj de Moab kaj al la dioj de la Amonidoj kaj al la dioj de la Filiŝtoj; kaj ili forlasis la Eternulon, kaj ne servadis al Li.
And the children of Israel repeated to do the evil in the eyes of the Lord, and they served the Be'alim, and 'Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of 'Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and they forsook the Lord, and served not him.
7 Tiam ekflamis la kolero de la Eternulo kontraŭ Izrael, kaj Li transdonis ilin en la manojn de la Filiŝtoj kaj en la manojn de la Amonidoj.
And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the children of 'Ammon.
8 Kaj ili premadis kaj turmentadis la Izraelidojn de tiu jaro dum dek ok jaroj, ĉiujn Izraelidojn, kiuj estis transe de Jordan en la lando de la Amoridoj, kiu estas en Gilead.
And they afflicted and oppressed the children of Israel that year; [and] for eighteen years all the children of Israel that were on the other side of the Jordan in the land of the Emorites, which is in Gil'ad.
9 Kaj la Amonidoj transiris Jordanon, por militi ankaŭ kontraŭ Jehuda kaj Benjamen kaj la domo de Efraim; kaj Izrael estis tre premata.
And the children of 'Ammon passed over the Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sorely distressed.
10 Tiam ekkriis la Izraelidoj al la Eternulo, dirante: Ni pekis antaŭ Vi, ĉar ni forlasis nian Dion kaj servis al la Baaloj.
And the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, saying, We have sinned against thee, because we have forsaken our God, and have served the Be'alim.
11 Kaj la Eternulo diris al la Izraelidoj: Mi savis ja vin de la Egiptoj kaj de la Amoridoj kaj de la Amonidoj kaj de la Filiŝtoj.
And the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Behold [I delivered you] from the Egyptians, and from the Emorites, from the children of 'Ammon, and from the Philistines.
12 Kaj la Cidonanoj kaj Amalekidoj kaj Maonidoj premis vin, kaj vi kriis al Mi, kaj Mi savis vin el iliaj manoj;
And when the Zidonians, and the 'Amalekites, and the Ma'onites did oppress you, and ye cried to me, I delivered you also out of their hand.
13 kaj tamen vi forlasis Min kaj servis al aliaj dioj; tial Mi ne plu helpos vin.
And yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods; wherefore I will deliver you no more.
14 Iru kaj kriu al la dioj, kiujn vi elektis; ili helpu vin en la tempo de via mizero.
Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let these deliver you in the time of your tribulation.
15 Kaj la Izraelidoj diris al la Eternulo: Ni pekis; faru al ni ĉion, kio plaĉas al Vi; nur savu nin hodiaŭ.
And the children of Israel said unto the Lord, We have sinned: do thou unto us entirely as it seemeth good in thy eyes; only deliver us, we pray thee, this time.
16 Kaj ili forigis el inter si la fremdajn diojn, kaj ekservis al la Eternulo; kaj Li eksentis kompaton pro la suferado de Izrael.
And they put away the strange gods from their midst, and served the Lord; and his soul was grieved for the trouble of Israel.
17 Kaj kolektiĝis la Amonidoj kaj stariĝis tendare en Gilead; kolektiĝis ankaŭ la Izraelidoj kaj stariĝis tendare en Micpa.
And the children of 'Ammon were called together, and they encamped in Gil'ad. And the children of Israel also assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpah.
18 Kaj la estroj de Gilead diris unuj al la aliaj: Kiu komencos batalon kontraŭ la Amonidoj, tiu estos estro de ĉiuj loĝantoj de Gilead.
And the people, the princes of Gil'ad, said one to another, Whatever man it be that will begin to fight against the children of 'Ammon, shall become the head over all the inhabitants of Gil'ad.
