1 Kaj la familiestroj de la Levidoj aliris al la pastro Eleazar, kaj al Josuo, filo de Nun, kaj al la familiestroj de la triboj de la Izraelidoj,

Then the princes of the families of Levi came to Eleazar the priest, and to Josue the son of Nun, and to the princes of the kindreds of all the tribes of the children of Israel:

2 kaj ekparolis al ili en Ŝilo, en la lando Kanaana, dirante: La Eternulo ordonis per Moseo doni al ni urbojn por loĝi, kaj iliajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn por niaj brutoj.

And they spoke to them in Silo in the land of Chanaan, and said: The Lord commanded by the hand of Moses, that cities should be given us to dwell in, and their suburbs to feed our cattle.

3 Tiam la Izraelidoj donis al la Levidoj el siaj posedaĵoj, konforme al la ordono de la Eternulo, tiujn urbojn kaj iliajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn.

And the children of Israel gave out of their possessions according to the commandment of the Lord, cities and their suburbs.

4 Kaj eliris la loto por la familio de la Kehatidoj; kaj al la filoj de la pastro Aaron, el la Levidoj, estis donitaj de la tribo de Jehuda kaj de la tribo de la Simeonidoj kaj de la tribo de Benjamen, per loto, dek tri urboj.

And the lot came out for the family of Caath of the children of Aaron the priest out of the tribes of Juda, and of Simeon, and of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

5 Kaj al la ceteraj filoj de Kehat estis donitaj de la familioj de la tribo de Efraim kaj de la tribo de Dan kaj de la duontribo de Manase, per loto, dek urboj.

And to the rest of the children of Caath, that is, to the Levites, who remained, out of the tribes of Ephraim, and of Dan, and the half tribe of Manasses, ten cities.

6 Kaj al la filoj de Gerŝon estis donitaj de la familioj de la tribo de Isaĥar kaj de la tribo de Aŝer kaj de la tribo de Naftali kaj de la duontribo de Manase en Baŝan, per loto, dek tri urboj.

And the lot came out to the children of Gerson, that they should take of the tribes of Issachar and of Aser and of Nephtali, and of the half tribe of Manasses in Basan, thirteen cities.

7 Al la filoj de Merari, laŭ iliaj familioj, estis donitaj de la tribo de Ruben kaj de la tribo de Gad kaj de la tribo de Zebulun dek du urboj.

And to the sons of Merari by their kindreds, of the tribes of Ruben and or Cad and of Zabulon, twelve cities.

8 Kaj la Izraelidoj donis al la Levidoj per loto tiujn urbojn kaj iliajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kiel ordonis la Eternulo per Moseo.

And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses, giving to every one by lot.

9 Kaj ili donis de la tribo de la Jehudaidoj kaj de la tribo de la Simeonidoj tiujn urbojn, kies nomojn ili difinis.

Of the tribes of the children of Juda and of Simeon Josue gave cities: whose names are these,

10 Al la filoj de Aaron el la familioj de la Kehatidoj, el la Levidoj — ĉar ilia estis la loto unua —

To the sons of Aaron, of the families of Caath of the race of Levi (for the first lot came out for them)

11 al ili oni donis la urbon de Arba, patro de Anak (tio estas, la urbon Ĥebron), sur la monto de Jehuda, kaj ĝiajn suburbaĵojn ĉirkaŭ ĝi.

The city of Arbe the father of Enac, which is called Hebron, in the mountain of Juda, and the suburbs thereof round about.

12 Kaj la kampon de la urbo kaj ĝiajn vilaĝojn oni donis al Kaleb, filo de Jefune, kiel propraĵon.

But the fields and the villages thereof he had given to Caleb the son of Jephone for his possession.

13 Kaj al la filoj de la pastro Aaron oni donis la urbon de rifuĝo por mortiginto Ĥebron kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Libna kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

He gave therefore to the children of Aaron the priest, Hebron a city of refuge, and the suburbs thereof: and Lobna with the suburbs thereof,

14 kaj Jatir kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Eŝtemoa kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

And Jether and Estemo,

15 kaj Ĥolon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Debir kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

And Holon, and Dabir,

16 kaj Ain kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Juta kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Bet-Ŝemeŝ kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: naŭ urbojn de tiuj du triboj.

And Ain, and Jeta, and Bethsames, with their suburbs: nine cities out of the two tribes, as hath been said.

17 Kaj de la tribo de Benjamen: Gibeon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Geba kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

And out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, Gabaon, and Gabae,

18 Anatot kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Almon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: kvar urbojn.

And Anathoth and Almon, with their suburbs: four cities.

19 La nombro de ĉiuj urboj de la Aaronidoj, la pastroj, estis dek tri urboj kaj iliaj ĉirkaŭaĵoj.

All the cities together of the children of Aaron the priest, were thirteen, with their suburbs.

20 Kaj por la familioj de la Kehatidoj, la Levidoj, la restintaj el la Kehatidoj, la urboj de ilia loto estis de la tribo de Efraim.

And to the rest of the families of the children of Caath of the race of Levi was given this possession.

21 Kaj oni donis al ili la rifuĝurbon por mortiginto Ŝeĥem kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, sur la monto de Efraim, kaj Gezer kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

Of the tribe of Ephraim, Sichem one of the cities of refuge, with the suburbs thereof in mount Ephraim, and Cater,

22 kaj Kibcaim kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Bet-Ĥoron kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: kvar urbojn.

And Cibsaim, and Beth-horon, with their suburbs, four cities.

23 Kaj de la tribo de Dan: Elteke kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Gibeton kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

And of the tribe of Dan, Eltheco and Gabathon,

24 Ajalon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Gat-Rimon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: kvar urbojn.

And Aialon and Gethremmon, with their suburbs, four cities.

25 Kaj de la duontribo de Manase: Taanaĥ kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Gat-Rimon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: du urbojn.

And of the half tribe of Manasses, Thanac and Gethremmon, with their suburbs, two cities.

26 La nombro de ĉiuj urboj kun iliaj ĉirkaŭaĵoj por la familioj de la restintaj Kehatidoj estis dek.

All the cities were ten, with their suburbs, which were given to the children of Caath, of the inferior degree.

27 Kaj al la Gerŝonidoj, el la familioj de la Levidoj, oni donis de la duontribo de Manase la rifuĝurbon por mortiginto Golan en Baŝan kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Beeŝtera kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: du urbojn.

To the children of Gerson also of the race of Levi out of the half tribe of Manasses, Gaulon in Basan, one of the cities of refuge, and Bosra, with their suburbs, two cities.

28 Kaj de la tribo de Isaĥar: Kiŝjon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Dabrat kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

And of the tribe of Issachar, Cesion, and Dabereth,

29 Jarmut kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, En-Ganim kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: kvar urbojn.

And Jaramoth, and Engannim, with their suburbs, four cities.

30 Kaj de la tribo de Aŝer: Miŝal kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Abdon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

And of the tribe of Aser, Masal and Abdon,

31 Ĥelkat kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Reĥob kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: kvar urbojn.

And Helcath, and Rohob, with their suburbs, four cities.

32 Kaj de la tribo de Naftali: la rifuĝurbon por mortiginto Kedeŝ en Galileo kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Ĥamot-Dor kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Kartan kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: tri urbojn.

Of the tribe also of Nephtali, Cedes in Galilee, one of the cities of refuge: and Hammoth Dor, and Carthan, with their suburbs, three cities.

33 La nombro de ĉiuj urboj de la Gerŝonidoj, laŭ iliaj familioj, estis dek tri urboj kaj iliaj ĉirkaŭaĵoj.

All the cities of the families of Gerson, were thirteen, with their suburbs.

34 Kaj al la familioj de la Merariidoj, la ceteraj Levidoj, oni donis de la tribo de Zebulun: Jokneam kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Karta kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

And to the children of Merari, Levites of the inferior degree, by their families were given of the tribe of Zabulon, Jecnam and Cartha,

35 Dimna kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Nahalal kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: kvar urbojn.

And Damna and Naalol, four cities with their suburbs;

36 Kaj de la tribo de Ruben: Becer kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Jahac kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

Of the tribe of Ruben beyond the Jordan over against Jericho, Bosor in the wilderness, one of the cities of refuge, Miser and Jaser and Jethson and Mephaath, four cities with their suburbs.

37 Kedemot kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Mefaat kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: kvar urbojn.

Of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Galaad, one of the cities of refuge, and Manaim and Hesebon and Jaser, four cities with their suburbs.

38 Kaj de la tribo de Gad: la rifuĝurbon por mortiginto Ramot en Gilead kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, kaj Maĥanaim kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn,

39 Ĥeŝbon kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn, Jazer kaj ĝiajn ĉirkaŭaĵojn: kune kvar urbojn.

40 La nombro de ĉiuj urboj, kiujn lote ricevis la Merariidoj, laŭ iliaj familioj, la restintaj el la familioj de la Levidoj, estis dek du.

All the cities of the children of Merari by their families and kindreds, were twelve.

41 La nombro de ĉiuj urboj de la Levidoj meze de la posedaĵoj de la Izraelidoj estis kvardek ok urboj kaj iliaj ĉirkaŭaĵoj.

So all the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty-eight,

42 Tiuj urboj estis ĉiu urbo kun ĝiaj ĉirkaŭaĵoj; tiel estis kun ĉiuj tiuj urboj.

With their suburbs, each distributed by the families.

43 Kaj la Eternulo donis al la Izraelidoj la tutan landon, kiun doni Li ĵuris al iliaj patroj; kaj ili ekposedis ĝin kaj enloĝiĝis en ĝi.

And the Lord God gave to Israel all the land that he had sworn to give to their fathers: and they possessed it and dwelt in it.

44 Kaj la Eternulo donis al ili trankvilecon ĉirkaŭe, konforme al ĉio, kion Li ĵuris al iliaj patroj; kaj neniu homo el ĉiuj iliaj malamikoj rezistis antaŭ ili; ĉiujn iliajn malamikojn la Eternulo transdonis en iliajn manojn.

And he gave them peace from all nations round about: and none of their enemies durst stand against them, but were brought under their dominion.

45 Ne mankis eĉ unu vorto el ĉiuj bonaj vortoj, kiujn la Eternulo diris al la domo de Izrael; ĉio plenumiĝis.

Not so much as one word, which he had promised to perform unto them, was made void, but all came to pass.
