1 Kaj la loto por la Jozefidoj donis: de Jordan kontraŭ Jeriĥo, ĉe la akvo de Jeriĥo, orienten, la dezerton, kiu etendiĝas de Jeriĥo ĝis la monto Bet-El.

And the lot fell to the children of Ioseph from Iorden by Iericho vnto the water of Iericho Eastward, and to the wildernes that goeth vp from Iericho by the mount Beth-el:

2 Kaj la limo iras de Bet-El ĝis Luz, kaj transiras ĝis la limo de la Arkanoj al Atarot;

And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and runneth along vnto the borders of Archiataroth,

3 kaj ĝi malleviĝas okcidenten al la limo de la Jafletidoj, ĝis la limo de la malsupra Bet-Ĥoron kaj ĝis Gezer; kaj ĝi finiĝas ĉe la maro.

And goeth down Westward to the coast of Iaphleti, vnto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the endes thereof are at the Sea.

4 Tion ricevis kiel posedaĵon Manase kaj Efraim, filoj de Jozef.

So the children of Ioseph, Manasseh and Ephraim tooke their inheritance.

5 Kaj la regiono de la Efraimidoj estis laŭ iliaj familioj: la limo de ilia posedaĵo oriente estis de Atrot-Adar ĝis la supra Bet-Ĥoron.

Also the borders of the children of Ephraim according to their families, euen the borders of their inheritance on the Eastside were Atroth-addar, vnto Beth-horon the vpper.

6 Kaj la limo iras al la maro ĉe Miĥmetat norde; kaj la limo turniĝas orienten ĉe Taanat-Ŝilo, kaj trapasas ĝin orienten al Janoaĥ.

And this border goeth out to the Sea vnto Michmethah on the Northside, and this border returneth Eastward vnto Taanathshiloh, and passeth it on the Eastside vnto Ianohah,

7 Kaj ĝi malleviĝas de Janoaĥ al Atarot kaj Naara, kaj tuŝas Jeriĥon, kaj finiĝas ĉe Jordan.

And goeth downe from Ianohah to Ataroth, and Naarath, and commeth to Iericho, and goeth out at Iorden.

8 De Tapuaĥ la limo iras okcidenten al la torento Kana, kaj finiĝas ĉe la maro. Tio estas la posedaĵo de la tribo de la Efraimidoj laŭ iliaj familioj;

And this border goeth from Tappuah Westward vnto the riuer Kanah, and the endes thereof are at the Sea: this is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

9 kaj la urboj, kiuj estas apartigitaj por la Efraimidoj meze de la posedaĵo de la Manaseidoj, ĉiuj urboj kun iliaj vilaĝoj.

And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh: all the cities with their villages.

10 Kaj ili ne forpelis la Kanaanidojn, kiuj loĝis en Gezer; kaj la Kanaanidoj restis meze de la Efraimidoj ĝis la nuna tago, servante kiel tributuloj.

And they cast not out the Canaanite that dwelt in Gezer, but the Canaanite dwelt among the Ephraimites vnto this day, and serued vnder tribute.
