Ijob 40
1 Kaj la Eternulo plue parolis al Ijob, kaj diris:
Moreouer ye Lord spake vnto Iob, and said,
2 Ĉu povas blasfemanto disputi kun la Plejpotenculo? La mallaŭdanto de Dio tion respondu.
Is this to learne to striue with the Almightie? he that reprooueth God, let him answere to it.
3 Kaj Ijob respondis al la Eternulo, kaj diris:
Then Iob answered the Lord, saying,
4 Jen mi estis facilanima; kion mi povas respondi al Vi? Mi metas mian manon sur mian buŝon.
Beholde, I am vile: what shall I answere thee? I will lay mine hand vpon my mouth.
5 Unu fojon mi parolis, kaj mi ne respondos; Tion mi ne faros duan fojon.
Once haue I spoken, but I will answere no more, yea twise, but I will proceede no further.
6 Kaj la Eternulo respondis al Ijob el la ventego, kaj diris:
Againe the Lord answered Iob out of the whirle winde, and said,
7 Zonu kiel viro viajn lumbojn; Mi vin demandos, kaj vi sciigu al Mi.
Girde vp now thy loynes like a man: I will demaunde of thee, and declare thou vnto me.
8 Ĉu vi volas senvalorigi Mian verdikton, Akuzi Min, por ke vi montriĝu prava?
Wilt thou disanul my iudgement? or wilt thou condemne me, that thou mayst be iustified?
9 Se vi havas tian brakon, kiel Dio, Kaj se vi povas tondri per voĉo simile al Li,
Or hast thou an arme like God? or doest thou thunder with a voyce like him?
10 Tiam ornamu vin per majesto, kaj altiĝu, Vestu vin per gloro kaj belegeco;
Decke thy selfe now with maiestie and excellencie, and aray thy selfe with beautie and glory.
11 Elverŝu la furiozon de via kolero; Ekrigardu ĉion fieran kaj humiligu ĝin;
Cast abroad the indignation of thy wrath, and beholde euery one that is proude, and abase him.
12 Ekrigardu ĉiun fierulon kaj konfuzu lin; Kaj frakasu la malpiulojn sur ilia loko;
Looke on euery one that is arrogant, and bring him lowe: and destroy the wicked in their place.
13 Kaŝu ilin ĉiujn en la tero; Ilian vizaĝon kovru per mallumo.
Hide them in the dust together, and binde their faces in a secret place.
14 Tiam Mi gloros vin, Se via dekstra mano vin helpos.
Then will I confesse vnto thee also, that thy right hand can saue thee.
15 Vidu la hipopotamon, kiun Mi kreis apud vi; Herbon ĝi manĝas, kiel bovo.
Behold now Behemoth (whom I made with thee) which eateth grasse as an oxe.
16 Vidu, ĝia forto estas en ĝiaj lumboj, Kaj ĝia fortikeco estas en la muskoloj de ĝia ventro.
Behold now, his strength is in his loynes, and his force is in the nauil of his belly.
17 Ĝi streĉas sian voston kiel cedron, La tendenoj de ĝiaj femuroj estas interplektitaj.
When hee taketh pleasure, his taile is like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapt together.
18 Ĝiaj ostoj estas kiel kupraj tuboj, Ĝiaj ostoj estas kiel feraj stangoj.
His bones are like staues of brasse, and his small bones like staues of yron.
19 Ĝi estas la komenco de la vojoj de Dio; Ĝia Kreinto donis al ĝi ĝian glavon.
He is the chiefe of the wayes of God: he that made him, will make his sworde to approch vnto him.
20 La montoj alportas al ĝi manĝaĵon, Kaj ĉiuj bestoj de la kampo tie ludas.
Surely the mountaines bring him foorth grasse, where all the beastes of the fielde play.
21 Sub ombroriĉaj arboj ĝi kuŝas, Sub kovro de kanoj kaj en ŝlimo.
Lyeth hee vnder the trees in the couert of the reede and fennes?
22 Ombroriĉaj arboj ŝirmas ĝin per sia ombro, Ĉirkaŭas ĝin salikoj apud torentoj.
Can the trees couer him with their shadow? or can the willowes of the riuer compasse him about?
23 Se la rivero tumultas, ĝi ne konfuziĝas; Ĝi staras trankvile, se eĉ Jordan enverŝiĝus en ĝian buŝon.
Behold, he spoyleth the riuer, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw vp Iorden into his mouth.
24 Ĉu iu povas preni ĝin antaŭ ĝiaj okuloj, Ĉu iu povas trabori per ŝnuroj ĝian nazon?
Hee taketh it with his eyes, and thrusteth his nose through whatsoeuer meeteth him.
