Jeremia 34
1 Jen estas la vorto, kiu aperis al Jeremia de la Eternulo, kiam Nebukadnecar, reĝo de Babel, kaj lia tuta militistaro, kaj ĉiuj regnoj de la tero, kiuj estis sub la regado de lia mano, kaj ĉiuj popoloj militis kontraŭ Jerusalem kaj kontraŭ ĉiuj ĝiaj urboj:
The word that has been to Jeremiah from YHWH—and Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his force, and all kingdoms of the land of the dominion of his hand, and all the peoples are fighting against Jerusalem, and against all its cities—saying:
2 Tiele diras la Eternulo, Dio de Izrael: Iru kaj parolu al Cidkija, reĝo de Judujo, kaj diru al li: Tiele diras la Eternulo: Jen Mi transdonos ĉi tiun urbon en la manon de la reĝo de Babel, kaj li forbruligos ĝin per fajro;
“Thus said YHWH, God of Israel: Go, and you have spoken to Zedekiah king of Judah, and have said to him, Thus said YHWH: Behold, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he has burned it with fire,
3 kaj vi ne saviĝos el lia mano, sed vi estos kaptita kaj transdonita en lian manon, kaj viaj okuloj rigardos la okulojn de la reĝo de Babel, kaj lia buŝo parolos kun via buŝo, kaj vi iros en Babelon.
and you do not escape out of his hand, for you are certainly caught, and you are given into his hand, and your eyes see the eyes of the king of Babylon, and his mouth speaks with your mouth, and you enter Babylon.
4 Tamen aŭskultu la vorton de la Eternulo, ho Cidkija, reĝo de Judujo: Tiele diras la Eternulo pri vi: Vi ne mortos de glavo;
Only, hear a word of YHWH, O Zedekiah king of Judah—thus said YHWH to you: You do not die by sword,
5 vi mortos en paco; kaj kiel oni faris brulon al viaj patroj, la antaŭaj reĝoj, kiuj estis antaŭ vi, tiel oni faros brulon al vi, kaj oni priploros vin: Ho ve, sinjoro! Ĉar Mi parolis la vorton, diras la Eternulo.
you die in peace, and with the burnings of your fathers, the former kings who have been before you, so they make a burning for you; and, Oh, lord, they lament for you, for the word I have spoken—a declaration of YHWH.”
6 Kaj la profeto Jeremia raportis al Cidkija, reĝo de Judujo, ĉiujn tiujn vortojn en Jerusalem,
And Jeremiah the prophet speaks all these words to Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,
7 dum la militistaro de la reĝo de Babel militis kontraŭ Jerusalem, kaj kontraŭ ĉiuj restintaj urboj de Judujo, kontraŭ Laĥiŝ kaj kontraŭ Azeka; ĉar ili restis ankoraŭ el la fortikaĵaj urboj de Judujo.
and the forces of the king of Babylon are fighting against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that are left—against Lachish, and against Azekah, for these have been left among the cities of Judah, cities of fortresses.
8 Jen estas la vorto, kiu aperis al Jeremia de la Eternulo, post kiam la reĝo Cidkija faris interligon kun la tuta popolo de Jerusalem, proklamante al ili liberecon;
The word that has been to Jeremiah from YHWH, after the making of a covenant by King Zedekiah with all the people who [are] in Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty to them,
9 ke ĉiu forliberigu sian sklavon kaj sian sklavinon, Hebreon kaj Hebreinon, por ke inter ili neniu el la Judoj tenu sian fraton en sklaveco.
to each send out his manservant, and each his maidservant—the Hebrew and the Hebrewess—free, so as not to lay service on them—on any Jew, a brother, a man;
10 Kaj obeis ĉiuj potenculoj kaj la tuta popolo, kiuj aliĝis al la interligo, por ke ĉiu forliberigu sian sklavon kaj sian sklavinon, por ne plu teni ilin en sklaveco; ili obeis kaj forliberigis.
and all the heads listen, and all the people who have come into the covenant to each send forth his manservant and each his maidservant free, so as not to lay service on them anymore, indeed, they listen, and send them away;
11 Sed poste ili denove reprenis la sklavojn kaj la sklavinojn, kiujn ili forliberigis, kaj devigis ilin fariĝi sklavoj kaj sklavinoj.
and they turn afterward, and cause the menservants and the maidservants to return, whom they had sent forth free, and they subdue them for menservants and for maidservants.
12 Tiam aperis la vorto de la Eternulo al Jeremia, dirante:
And there is a word of YHWH to Jeremiah from YHWH, saying,
13 Tiele diras la Eternulo, Dio de Izrael: Mi faris interligon kun viaj patroj en la tempo, kiam Mi elkondukis ilin el la lando Egipta, el la domo de sklaveco, dirante:
“Thus said YHWH, God of Israel: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day of My bringing them forth from the land of Egypt, from a house of servants, saying,
14 En ĉiu sepa jaro forliberigu ĉiu sian fraton Hebreon, kiu estas vendita al vi kaj servis al vi ses jarojn, kaj permesu al li foriri de vi tute libera; sed viaj patroj ne aŭskultis Min kaj ne alklinis sian orelon.
At the end of seven years you each send forth his brother, the Hebrew, who is sold to you, and has served you six years, indeed, you have sent him forth from you free: and your fathers did not listen to Me, nor inclined their ear.
15 Nun vi pentis, kaj faris bonon antaŭ Miaj okuloj, proklamante liberecon unu por la alia, kaj vi faris interligon antaŭ Mi en la domo, kiu estas nomata per Mia nomo;
And today you turn back and you do that which is right in My eyes, to each proclaim liberty to his neighbor, and you make a covenant before Me in the house over which My Name is called.
16 sed vi ŝanĝiĝis, kaj malsanktigis Mian nomon, kaj reprenis al vi ĉiu sian sklavon kaj sian sklavinon, kiujn vi forliberigis, ke ili estu memstaraj, kaj vi devigis ilin, ke ili estu por vi sklavoj kaj sklavinoj.
And you turn back, and defile My Name, and you each cause his manservant and each his maidservant, whom he had sent forth free (at their pleasure), to return, and you subdue them to be for menservants and for maidservants to you.”
17 Tial tiele diras la Eternulo: Vi ne obeis Min, ke vi proklamu liberecon ĉiu al sia frato kaj unu al la alia; jen Mi proklamas koncerne vin liberecon al la glavo, pesto, kaj malsato, kaj Mi faros vin objekto de teruro por ĉiuj regnoj de la tero.
Therefore, thus said YHWH: “You have not listened to Me to proclaim freedom, each to his brother, and each to his neighbor; behold, I am proclaiming to you liberty,” a declaration of YHWH, “to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine, and I have given you for a trembling to all kingdoms of the earth.
18 Kaj Mi transdonos la homojn, kiuj malobeis Mian interligon, kiuj ne plenumis la vortojn de la interligo, kiun ili faris antaŭ Mi, kiam ili dishakis la bovidon en du partojn kaj trairis tra la dishakitaj partoj:
And I have given the men who are transgressing My covenant, who have not established the words of the covenant that they have made before Me, by the calf, that they have cut in two, and pass through between its pieces—
19 la eminentulojn de Judujo kaj la eminentulojn de Jerusalem, la korteganojn kaj la pastrojn, kaj la tutan popolon de la lando, kiuj trairis tra la dishakitaj partoj de la bovido;
heads of Judah, and heads of Jerusalem, the officers, and the priests, and all the people of the land who had passed through between the pieces of the calf—
20 Mi transdonos ilin en la manojn de iliaj malamikoj, kaj en la manojn de tiuj, kiuj celas ilian morton; kaj iliaj kadavroj estos manĝaĵo por la birdoj de la ĉielo kaj por la bestoj de la tero.
indeed, I have given them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those seeking their soul, and their carcass has been for food to the bird of the heavens, and to the beast of the earth.
21 Kaj Cidkijan, reĝon de Judujo, kaj liajn eminentulojn Mi transdonos en la manojn de iliaj malamikoj, kaj en la manojn de tiuj, kiuj celas ilian morton, kaj en la manojn de la militistaro de la reĝo de Babel, kiu foriris de vi.
And I give Zedekiah king of Judah and his heads into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those seeking their soul, and into the hand of the forces of the king of Babylon that are going up from off you.
22 Jen Mi faros ordonon, diras la Eternulo, kaj Mi revenigos ilin al ĉi tiu urbo, kaj ili atakos ĝin kaj venkoprenos ĝin kaj forbruligos ĝin per fajro, kaj la urbojn de Judujo Mi faros dezerto tiel, ke neniu en ĝi loĝos.
Behold, I am commanding,” a declaration of YHWH, “and have brought them back to this city, and they have fought against it, and captured it, and burned it with fire, and I make the cities of Judah a desolation—without inhabitant.”
