Jesaja 62
1 Pro Cion mi ne silentos, kaj pro Jerusalem mi ne haltos, ĝis ĝia praveco eliĝos kiel brilo kaj ĝia savo kiel brulanta torĉo.
For the sake of Zion will I not be silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem will I not be quiet; until its righteousness go forth as the brightness [of light], and its salvation as a burning torch.
2 Kaj la popoloj vidos vian feliĉon, kaj ĉiuj reĝoj vian honoron; kaj oni nomos vin per nomo nova, kiun eldiros la buŝo de la Eternulo.
And nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory; and men shall call thee by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall pronounce.
3 Kaj vi estos belega krono en la mano de la Eternulo, kaj reĝa kapornamo en la manplato de via Dio.
And thou shalt be a crown of ornament in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Oni ne plu nomos vin forlasita, kaj pri via lando oni ne plu diros, ke ĝi estas dezerta; sed oni nomos vin Mia Favorata kaj vian landon Edzinigitino; ĉar la Eternulo vin favoras kaj via lando havos edzon.
Thou shalt not be termed any more “Forsaken,” and thy land shall not be termed any more “Desolate;” for thou shalt be called “My delight in her” [[Chephzi-bah]], and thy land “Espoused” [[Be'ulah]]; for the Lord will have delight in thee, and thy land shall be espoused.
5 Kiel junulo prenas por kunvivado junulinon, tiel kunvivos kun vi viaj filoj; kaj kiel fianĉo ĝojas pri la fianĉino, tiel ĝojos pri vi via Dio.
For as a young man espouseth a virgin, so shall thy sons espouse thee; and as the bridegroom is glad over the bride, so will be glad over thee thy God.
6 Sur viaj muregoj, ho Jerusalem, Mi starigis gardistojn, por ke la tutan tagon kaj la tutan nokton ili ne eksilentu; vi, kiuj memorigas pri la Eternulo, ne faru al vi ripozon,
Over thy walls, O Jerusalem, have I appointed watchmen, all the day and all the night, continually, shall they not be silent: ye that make mention of the Lord, take ye no rest.
7 kaj al Li ne donu ripozon, ĝis Li aranĝos kaj faros Jerusalemon gloro sur la tero.
And give him no rest, until he have established, and until he have set up Jerusalem as a praise on the earth.
8 La Eternulo ĵuris per Sia dekstra mano kaj per Sia potenca brako: Mi ne plu donos vian grenon kiel manĝaĵon al viaj malamikoj, kaj fremduloj ne trinkos vian moston, por kiu vi laboris;
Sworn hath the Lord by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, I will not give thy corn any more as food for thy enemies, and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy young wine for which thou hast labored;
9 sed ĝiaj rikoltantoj ĝin manĝos, kaj laŭdos la Eternulon; kaj ĝiaj kolektantoj ĝin trinkos en la korto de Mia sanktejo.
But they who gather it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they who bring it together shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.
10 Pasu, pasu tra la pordegoj, pretigu vojon por la popolo; ebenigu, ebenigu la vojon, liberigu ĝin de ŝtonoj; levu standardon super la popoloj.
Pass, pass through the gates, make clear the way of the people, cast up, cast up the highway, remove away the stones, lift up a banner over the nations.
11 Jen la Eternulo aŭdigas ĝis la fino de la tero: Diru al la filino de Cion: Jen venas via Savanto; jen Lia rekompenco estas kun Li, kaj Lia repago antaŭ Li.
Behold, the Lord hath caused to be heard unto the ends of the earth, “Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.”
12 Kaj oni nomos ilin la sankta popolo, la liberigitoj de la Eternulo; kaj vin oni nomos urbo multevizitata kaj ne forlasata.
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord; and thou shalt be called, Sought for, [[Derusha, ]] The city never forsaken.
