Hoŝea 3

1 Kaj la Eternulo diris al mi plue: Iru, kaj komencu amaĵon kun virino, kiun amas ŝia edzo, sed kiu adultas, simile al tio, kiel la Eternulo amas la Izraelidojn, sed ili turnas sin al aliaj dioj kaj amas iliajn vinberkukojn.

And Jehovah said to me, Go again, love a woman that is loved by another, and is an adulteress; even as Jehovah loveth the sons of Israel, who turn themselves to other gods, and love raisin-cakes.

2 Kaj mi akiris ŝin al mi per dek kvin arĝentaj moneroj kaj ĥomero kaj duono da hordeo.

So I bought her for me for fifteen shekels of silver, and a homer and a half of barley.

3 Kaj mi diris al ŝi: Longan tempon restu ĉe mi; ne malĉastu, kaj fordonu vin al neniu viro; tiel same mi agos kun vi.

And I said to her, Thou shalt wait for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be with any man; so will I also wait for thee.

4 Ĉar dum longa tempo la Izraelidoj restos sen reĝo, sen estro, sen oferoj, sen statuo, sen efodo, kaj sen domaj dioj;

For the sons of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim.

5 poste la Izraelidoj returnos sin, kaj serĉos la Eternulon, sian Dion, kaj Davidon, sian reĝon, kaj ili respektegos la Eternulon kaj Lian bonon en la fina tempo.

Afterward shall the sons of Israel return, and seek Jehovah their God, and David their king, and turn with fear to Jehovah and his goodness in future times.
