Genezo 49
1 Kaj Jakob alvokis siajn filojn, kaj diris: Kolektiĝu, kaj mi sciigos al vi, kio fariĝos al vi en la tempo venonta.
And Jacob calls to his sons and says, “Be gathered together, and I declare to you that which happens with you in the latter end of the days.
2 Kunvenu kaj aŭskultu, filoj de Jakob, Kaj aŭskultu Izraelon, vian patron.
Be assembled, and hear, sons of Jacob, And listen to your father Israel.
3 Ruben, vi estas mia unuenaskito, Mia forto kaj komenco de mia vireco, Supro de digno kaj supro de potenco;
Reuben! You [are] my firstborn, My power, and beginning of my strength, The abundance of exaltation, And the abundance of strength;
4 Rapidema kiel akvo, vi ne staros plej alte, Ĉar vi supreniris sur la liton de via patro; Tiam vi malhonoris mian liton per la supreniro.
Unstable as water, you are not abundant; For you have gone up your father’s bed; Then you have defiled [it]: He went up my couch!
5 Simeon kaj Levi, fratoj; Iloj kruelaj estas viaj glavoj,
Simeon and Levi [are] brothers! Instruments of violence—their espousals!
6 En ilian konsilon mia animo ne iru, Al ilia kunveno ne aliĝu mia honoro; Ĉar en sia kolero ili mortigis viron Kaj pro sia kaprico ili kripligis bovon.
Into their secret, do not come, O my soul! Do not be united to their assembly, O my glory; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their self-will eradicated a prince.
7 Malbenita estu ilia kolero, ĉar ĝi estas forta, Kaj ilia furiozo, ĉar ĝi estas kruela. Mi dividos ilin en Jakob, Kaj mi disĵetos ilin en Izrael.
Cursed [is] their anger, for [it is] fierce, And their wrath, for [it is] sharp; I divide them in Jacob, And I scatter them in Israel.
8 Jehuda, vin laŭdos viaj fratoj; Via mano estas sur la nuko de viaj malamikoj; Kliniĝos antaŭ vi la filoj de via patro.
Judah! Your brothers praise you! Your hand [is] on the neck of your enemies, Sons of your father bow themselves to you.
9 Juna leono estas Jehuda; De ĉasakiro, mia filo, vi leviĝis. Li genuiĝis, kuŝiĝis kiel leono kaj kiel leonino; Kiu lin levos?
A lion’s whelp [is] Judah, For prey, my son, you have gone up; He has bent, he has crouched as a lion, And as a lioness; who causes him to arise?
10 Ne forpreniĝos sceptro de Jehuda, Nek regbastono de inter liaj piedoj, Ĝis venos paco Kaj al li humiliĝos la popoloj.
The scepter does not turn aside from Judah, And a lawgiver from between his feet, Until his Seed comes; And His [is] the obedience of peoples.
11 Li alligas al la vinbertrunko sian azenidon Kaj al la delikata vinberbranĉo la filon de sia azenino; Li lavas en vino sian veston Kaj en sango de vinberoj sian mantelon.
Binding to the vine his donkey, And to the choice vine the colt of his donkey, He has washed in wine his clothing, And in the blood of grapes his covering;
12 Liaj okuloj estas ruĝaj de vino Kaj la dentoj blankaj de lakto.
Red [are] eyes with wine, And white [are] teeth with milk!
13 Zebulun loĝos ĉe la bordo de maro, Ĉe albordiĝejo de ŝipoj, Kaj lia limo atingos Cidonon.
Zebulun dwells at a haven of the seas, And he [is] for a haven of ships; And his side [is] to Sidon.
14 Isaĥar estas fortosta azeno; Li kuŝos inter la baraĵoj.
Issachar [is] a strong donkey, Crouching between the two folds;
15 Kaj li vidis, ke ripozo estas bona Kaj la tero estas agrabla; Kaj li klinis sian ŝultron por portado Kaj fariĝis laboristo por tributo.
And he sees rest, that [it is] good, And the land, that [it is] pleasant, And he inclines his shoulder to bear, And is a servant for tribute.
16 Dan juĝos sian popolon, Kiel unu el la triboj de Izrael.
Dan judges his people, As one of the tribes of Israel;
17 Dan estos serpento ĉe la vojo, Cerasto ĉe la irejo, Mordanto de kalkano de ĉevalo, Ke ĝia rajdanto falas malantaŭen.
Dan is a serpent by the way, a viper by the path, Which is biting the horse’s heels, And its rider falls backward.
18 Vian helpon mi esperas, ho Eternulo.
For Your salvation I have waited, YHWH!
19 Gadon premos amaso, Sed li repremos ĝin je la kalkano.
Gad! A troop assaults him, But he assaults last.
20 Ĉe Aŝer estas grasa lia pano, Kaj li liverados frandaĵojn al reĝoj.
Out of Asher his bread [is] fat; And he gives delicacies of a king.
21 Naftali estas belkura cervo; Li donas belajn parolojn.
Naphtali [is] a doe sent away, Who is giving beautiful young ones.
22 Fruktoporta arbo estas Jozef, Fruktoporta arbo super fonto; La branĉoj etendiĝis super la muron.
Joseph [is] a fruitful son; A fruitful son by a fountain, Daughters step over the wall;
23 Ĉagrenis lin pafistoj Kaj pafis kaj malamikis kontraŭ li;
And embitter him indeed, they have striven, Indeed, archers hate him;
24 Sed forta restis lia pafarko Kaj elastaj estas liaj brakoj, Per la manoj de la Potenculo de Jakob, Per la Paŝtisto, la Roko de Izrael.
And his bow abides in strength, And strengthened are the arms of his hands By the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, From where is a shepherd, a son of Israel.
25 La Dio de via patro donos al vi helpon, La Plejpotenculo benos vin Per benoj de la ĉielo supre, Per benoj de la abismo, kiu kuŝas malsupre, Per benoj de la mamoj kaj de la utero.
By the God of your father who helps you, And the Mighty One who blesses you, Blessings of the heavens from above, Blessings of the deep lying under, Blessings of breasts and womb—
26 La benoj de via patro estas pli fortaj, Ol la benoj de miaj gepatroj, Ĝis la limo de la eternaj altaĵoj. Ili estu sur la kapo de Jozef Kaj sur la verto de la elektito inter liaj fratoj.
Your father’s blessings have been mighty Above the blessings of my progenitors, To the limit of the perpetual heights They are for the head of Joseph, And for the crown of the one Separate [from] his brothers.
27 Benjamen estas lupo karnoŝira; Matene li manĝos ĉasakiron, Kaj vespere li dividos rabaĵon.
Benjamin! A wolf tears; In the morning he eats prey, And at evening he apportions spoil.”
28 Tio estas ĉiuj dek du triboj de Izrael; kaj tio estas, kion diris al ili ilia patro; kaj li benis ilin, ĉiun per aparta beno li benis.
All these [are] the twelve tribes of Israel, and this [is] that which their father has spoken to them, and he blesses them; each according to his blessing he has blessed them.
29 Kaj li ordonis al ili, kaj diris al ili: Mi alkolektiĝas al mia popolo; enterigu min apud miaj patroj en la kaverno, kiu troviĝas sur la kampo de Efron la Ĥetido,
And he commands them and says to them, “I am being gathered to my people; bury me by my fathers, at the cave which [is] in the field of Ephron the Hittite;
30 en la duobla kampa kaverno, kiu troviĝas antaŭ Mamre en la lando Kanaana kaj kiun Abraham aĉetis kune kun la kampo de Efron la Ĥetido kiel tomban posedaĵon.
in the cave which [is] in the field of Machpelah, which [is] on the front of Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a burying-place;
31 Tie oni enterigis Abrahamon kaj lian edzinon Sara, tie oni enterigis Isaakon kaj lian edzinon Rebeka, kaj tie mi enterigis Lean,
(there they buried Abraham and his wife Sarah; there they buried Isaac and his wife Rebekah; and there I buried Leah);
32 sur la kampo kaj en la kaverno sur ĝi, kiuj estas aĉetitaj de el la filoj de Ĥet.
the purchase of the field and of the cave which [is] in it, [is] from sons of Heth.”
33 Kaj Jakob finis la ordonadon al siaj filoj, kaj li kunigis siajn piedojn sur la lito, kaj mortis kaj alkolektiĝis al sia popolo.
And Jacob finishes commanding his sons, and gathers up his feet to the bed, and expires, and is gathered to his people.
