Genezo 4
1 Kaj Adam ekkonis Evan, sian edzinon, kaj ŝi gravediĝis, kaj ŝi naskis Kainon; kaj ŝi diris: Mi akiris homon de la Eternulo.
Forsothe Adam knewe Eue his wijf, which conseyuede, and childide Cayn, and seide, Y haue gete a man bi God.
2 Kaj plue ŝi naskis lian fraton Habel. Kaj Habel fariĝis ŝafpaŝtisto, kaj Kain fariĝis terlaboristo.
And efte sche childide his brother Abel. Forsothe Abel was a kepere of scheep, and Cayn was an erthe tilyere.
3 Kaj post ia tempo fariĝis, ke Kain alportis el la fruktoj de la tero donacoferon al la Eternulo.
Sotheli it was don after many daies, that Cayn offride yiftis to the Lord of the fruytis of erthe;
4 Kaj Habel ankaŭ alportis el la unuenaskitoj de siaj ŝafoj kaj el ilia graso. Kaj la Eternulo atentis Habelon kaj lian donacoferon;
and Abel offride of the first gendrid of his floc, and of the fatnesse of tho. And the Lord bihelde to Abel and to the yiftis of hym;
5 sed Kainon kaj lian donacoferon Li ne atentis. Kaj Kain tre ekkoleris, kaj lia vizaĝo kliniĝis.
sotheli he bihelde not to Cayn and to hise yiftis. And Cayn was wrooth greetli, and his cheer felde doun.
6 Kaj la Eternulo diris al Kain: Kial vi koleras? kaj kial kliniĝis via vizaĝo?
And the Lord seide to hym, Whi art thou wrooth, and whi felde doun thi face?
7 Ja se vi agos bone, vi estos forta; sed se vi agos malbone, la peko kuŝos ĉe la pordo, kaj vin ĝi aspiros, sed vi regu super ĝi.
Whether not if thou schalt do wel, thou schalt resseyue; but if thou doist yuele, thi synne schal be present anoon in the yatis? but the desir therof schal be vndur thee, and thou schalt be lord therof.
8 Kaj Kain parolis kun sia frato Habel; kaj kiam ili estis sur la kampo, Kain leviĝis kontraŭ sian fraton Habel kaj mortigis lin.
And Cayn seide to Abel his brother, Go we out. And whanne thei weren in the feeld, Cayn roos ayens his brother Abel, and killide him.
9 Kaj la Eternulo diris al Kain: Kie estas via frato Habel? Kaj tiu diris: Mi ne scias; ĉu mi estas gardisto de mia frato?
And the Lord seide to Cayn, Where is Abel thi brother? Which answerde, Y woot not; whether Y am the kepere of my brothir?
10 Kaj Li diris: Kion vi faris? la voĉo de la sango de via frato krias al Mi de la tero.
And God seide to Cayn, What hast thou do? the vois of the blood of thi brother crieth to me fro erthe.
11 Kaj nun estu malbenita de sur la tero, kiu malfermis sian buŝon, por preni la sangon de via frato el via mano.
Now therfor thou schalt be cursid on erthe, that openyde his mouth, and resseyuede of thin hond the blood of thi brothir.
12 Kiam vi prilaboros la teron, ĝi ne plu donos al vi sian forton; vaganto kaj forkuranto vi estos sur la tero.
Whanne thou schalt worche the erthe, it schal not yyue his fruytis to thee; thou schalt be vnstable of dwellyng and fleynge aboute on erthe in alle the daies of thi lijf.
13 Kaj Kain diris al la Eternulo: Pli granda estas mia puno, ol kiom mi povos elporti.
And Cayn seide to the Lord, My wickidnesse is more than that Y disserue foryyuenesse; lo!
14 Jen Vi forpelas min hodiaŭ de sur la tero, kaj mi devas min kaŝi de antaŭ Via vizaĝo, kaj mi estos vaganto kaj forkuranto sur la tero, kaj iu ajn, kiu min renkontos, mortigos min.
to dai thou castist me out fro the face of the erthe; and Y schal be hid fro thi face, and Y schal be vnstable of dwellyng and fleynge aboute in erthe; therfore ech man that schal fynde me schal slee me.
15 Kaj la Eternulo diris al li: Sciu, ke al iu, kiu mortigos Kainon, estos venĝite sepoble. Kaj la Eternulo faris sur Kain signon, ke ne mortigu lin iu, kiu lin renkontos.
And the Lord seide to hym, It schal not be don so, but ech man that schal slee Cayn shal be punyschid seuenfold. And the Lord settide a signe in Cayn, that ech man that schulde fynde hym schulde not slee hym.
16 Kaj Kain foriris de antaŭ la Eternulo, kaj loĝiĝis en la lando Nod, oriente de Eden.
And Cayn yede out fro the face of the Lord, and dwellide fleynge aboute in erthe, at the eest coost of Eden.
17 Kaj Kain ekkonis sian edzinon, kaj ŝi gravediĝis, kaj ŝi naskis Ĥanoĥon. Kaj li konstruis urbon, kaj li donis al la urbo nomon laŭ la nomo de sia filo: Ĥanoĥ.
Forsothe Cayn knewe his wiif, which conseyuede, and childide Enoth; and Cayn bildide a citee, and clepide the name therof of the name of hise sone Enoth.
18 Kaj al Ĥanoĥ naskiĝis Irad, kaj al Irad naskiĝis Meĥujael, kaj al Meĥujael naskiĝis Metuŝael, kaj al Metuŝael naskiĝis Lemeĥ.
Forsothe Enoth gendride Irad, and Irad gendride Manyael, and Manyael gendride Matusael, and Matusael gendride Lameth;
19 Kaj Lemeĥ prenis al si du edzinojn: unu havis la nomon Ada, kaj la dua havis la nomon Cila.
that took twei wyues, the name to o wijf was Ada, and the name to the tother was Sella.
20 Kaj Ada naskis Jabalon; li estis la patro de tiuj, kiuj loĝas en tendoj kaj paŝtas brutojn.
And Ada gendride Jabel, that was the fadir of dwellers in tentis and of shepherdis;
21 Kaj la nomo de lia frato estis Jubal; li estis la patro de ĉiuj, kiuj ludas harpon kaj fluton.
and the name of his brother was Tubal, he was the fadir of syngeris in harpe and orgun.
22 Cila ankaŭ naskis Tubal-Kainon, forĝanton de diversaj majstraĵoj el kupro kaj fero. Kaj la fratino de Tubal-Kain estis Naama.
And Sella gendride Tubalcayn, that was an hamerbetere, and smyyt on alle werkis of bras and of yrun; forsothe the sistir of Tubalcayn was Neoma.
23 Kaj Lemeĥ diris al siaj edzinoj Ada kaj Cila: Aŭskultu mian voĉon, edzinoj de Lemeĥ, Atentu mian parolon! Ĉar viron mi mortigis por vundo al mi Kaj junulon por tubero al mi;
And Lameth seide to his wyues Ada and Sella, Ye wyues of Lameth, here my vois, and herkne my word; for Y haue slayn a man bi my wounde, and a yong wexynge man bi my `violent betyng;
24 Se sepoble estos venĝite por Kain, Por Lemeĥ estos sepdek-sepoble.
veniaunce schal be youun seuenfold of Cayn, forsothe of Lameth seuentisithis seuensithis.
25 Kaj denove Adam ekkonis sian edzinon, kaj ŝi naskis filon, kaj donis al li la nomon Set: Ĉar Dio metis al mi alian semon anstataŭ Habel, kiun mortigis Kain.
Also yit Adam knewe his wijf, and sche childide a sone, and clepide his name Seth, and seide, God hath put to me another seed for Abel, whom Cayn killide.
26 Kaj al Set ankaŭ naskiĝis filo, kaj li donis al li la nomon Enoŝ. Tiam oni komencis alvokadi la nomon de la Eternulo.
But also a sone was borun to Seth, which sone he clepide Enos; this Enos bigan to clepe inwardli the name of the Lord.
