Genezo 33
1 Jakob levis siajn okulojn, kaj vidis, ke jen venas Esav kaj kun li kvarcent homoj. Tiam li dividis la infanojn de Lea kaj de Raĥel kaj de la du sklavinoj.
Forsothe Jacob reiside hise iyen, and seiy Esau comynge, and foure hundrid men with hym; and he departide the sones of Lia, and of Rachel, and of bothe seruauntessis.
2 Kaj li starigis la sklavinojn kaj iliajn infanojn antaŭe, Lean kun ŝiaj infanoj poste, kaj Raĥelon kun Jozef en la fino.
And he puttide euer either handmaide, and the fre children of hem, in the bigynnyng; sotheli he puttide Lia, and her sones, in the secounde place; forsothe he puttide Rachel and Joseph the laste.
3 Kaj li mem pasis preter ilin, kaj kliniĝis ĝis la tero sep fojojn, antaŭ ol li atingis sian fraton.
And Jacob yede bifore, and worschipide lowli to erthe seuensithis, til his brothir neiyede.
4 Sed Esav kuris al li renkonte kaj ĉirkaŭprenis lin, kaj ĵetis sin sur lian kolon kaj kisis lin; kaj ili ploris.
And so Esau ran ayens his brothir, and collide hym, and Esau helde his necke, and kisside, and wepte.
5 Esav levis siajn okulojn kaj ekvidis la virinojn kaj la infanojn, kaj diris: Kiuj estas ĉe vi ĉi tiuj? Jakob respondis: La infanoj, kiujn Dio favore donis al via sklavo.
And whanne the iyen weren reisid, he seiy the wymmen, and the litle children of hem, and seide, What wolen these to hem silf? and wher thei pertenen to thee? Jacob answeride, Thei ben the litle children, whiche God hath youe to me, thi seruaunt.
6 Tiam alproksimiĝis la sklavinoj, ili kaj iliaj infanoj, kaj profunde kliniĝis.
And the handmaydis and her sones neiyeden, and weren bowid.
7 Poste alproksimiĝis ankaŭ Lea kaj ŝiaj infanoj kaj kliniĝis; fine alproksimiĝis Jozef kaj Raĥel kaj kliniĝis.
Also Lya neiyede with hir fre children; and whanne thei hadden worschipid in lijk maner, Joseph and Rachel the laste worschipeden.
8 Tiam Esav diris: Kio estas tiu tuta taĉmento, kiun mi renkontis? Kaj Jakob respondis: Por akiri la favoron de mia sinjoro.
And Esau seide, What ben these cumpanyes, whiche Y mette? Jacob answerde, That Y schulde fynde grace bifore my lord.
9 Sed Esav diris: Mi havas multe, mia frato; kio apartenas al vi, tio restu ĉe vi.
And he seide, My brother, Y haue ful many thingis, thi thingis be to thee.
10 Kaj Jakob diris: Ho ne! se mi akiris vian favoron, prenu mian donacon el mia mano; ĉar mi vidis vian vizaĝon, kvazaŭ mi vidus la vizaĝon de Dio, kaj vi montriĝis favora al mi.
And Jacob seide, Y biseche, nyle thou so, but if Y foond grace in thin iyen, take thou a litil yifte of myn hondis; for Y seiy so thi face as I seiy the cheer of God;
11 Prenu mian benon, kiu estas alportita al vi; ĉar Dio favore donis al mi kaj mi havas ĉion. Kaj li insistis, kaj tiu prenis.
be thou merciful to me, and resseyue the blessyng which Y brouyte to thee, and which blessyng God yyuynge alle thingis yaf to me. Vnnethis, while the brothir compellide,
12 Kaj Esav diris: Ni leviĝu kaj iru, kaj mi iros apud vi.
he resseyuede, and seide, Go we to gidere, and Y schal be felowe of thi weie.
13 Sed Jakob diris al li: Mia sinjoro scias, ke la infanoj estas malfortaj, kaj la ŝafoj kaj bovoj ĉe mi estas tro junaj; se oni pelos ilin dum unu tago, la brutaro mortos.
And Jacob seide, My lord, thou knowist that Y haue litle children tendre, and scheep, and kien with calue with me, and if Y schal make hem for to trauele more in goynge, alle the flockis schulen die in o dai;
14 Mia sinjoro iru antaŭ sia sklavo, kaj mi kondukos malrapide, kiel iros la brutoj, kiuj estas antaŭ mi, kaj kiel iros la infanoj, ĝis mi venos al mia sinjoro en Seir.
my lord go bifore his seruaunt, and Y schal sue litil and litil hise steppis, as I shal se that my litle children mown, til Y come to my lord, in to Seir.
15 Tiam Esav diris: Mi restigos ĉe vi iujn el la homoj, kiuj estas kun mi. Sed Jakob diris: Por kio? lasu min nur posedi la favoron de mia sinjoro.
Esau answeride, Y preie thee, that of the puple which is with me, nameli felowis of thi weie dwelle. Jacob seide, It is no nede; Y haue nede to this o thing oneli, that Y fynde grace in thi siyt, my lord.
16 Kaj en tiu tago Esav returne foriris sian vojon al Seir.
And so Esau turnede ayen in that dai in the weie bi which he cam, in to Seir.
17 Kaj Jakob ekiris al Sukot kaj konstruis al si domon, kaj por siaj brutoj li faris kabanojn; tial la loko ricevis la nomon Sukot.
And Jacob cam in to Sochot, where whanne he hadde bildid an hows, and hadde set tentis, he clepide the name of that place Sochot, that is, tabernaclis.
18 Veninte el Mezopotamio, Jakob alvenis bonstate en la urbo de Ŝeĥem, kiu estas en la lando Kanaana; kaj li starigis sian tendaron antaŭ la urbo.
And Jacob passide in to Salem, a citee of Sichimis, whiche is in the lond of Canaan, aftir that he turnede ayen fro Mesopotanye of Sirie, and he dwellide besidis the citee.
19 Kaj la kampoparton, sur kiu li starigis sian tendon, li aĉetis el la manoj de la filoj de Ĥamor, la patro de Ŝeĥem, por cent kesitoj.
And he bouyte for an hundrid lambren a part of the feeld, in which he settide tabernaclis, of the sones of Emor, fadir of Sichem.
20 Kaj li starigis tie altaron, kaj li nomis ĝin El, la Dio de Izrael.
And whanne he hadde reisid an auter there, he inwardly clepide on it the strongeste God of Israel.
