Jeĥezkel 38

1 Kaj aperis al mi vorto de la Eternulo, dirante:

And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,

2 Ho filo de homo, turnu vian vizaĝon al Gog, en la lando Magog, ĉefa princo de Meŝeĥ kaj Tubal, kaj profetu pri li;

“Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him,

3 kaj diru: Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Jen Mi iras kontraŭ vin, ho Gog, ĉefa princo de Meŝeĥ kaj Tubal.

and you have said, Thus says Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, O Gog, Chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal,

4 Kaj Mi vagigos vin, Mi metos buŝbridaĵon en vian buŝon, kaj Mi elirigos vin kaj vian tutan militistaron, ĉevalojn kaj rajdistojn, ĉiujn en belegaj vestoj, grandan anaron, en kirasoj kaj kun ŝildoj, kun glavo en la mano;

And I have turned you back, And I have put hooks in your jaws, And have brought you out, and all your force, Horses and horsemen, All of them clothed in perfection, A numerous assembly, [with] buckler and shield, All of them handling swords.

5 Persojn, Etiopojn, kaj Putidojn, ĉiujn kun ŝildoj kaj kaskoj;

Persia, Cush, and Phut, with them, All of them [with] shield and helmet.

6 Gomeron kun ĉiuj ĝiaj taĉmentoj, la domon de Togarma, de la nordaj randoj, kun ĉiuj ĝiaj taĉmentoj; multaj popoloj estos kun vi.

Gomer and all its bands, The house of Togarmah [from] the sides of the north, And all its bands, many peoples with you,

7 Pretigu vin kaj aranĝu vin, vi kaj ĉiuj homamasoj, kiuj kolektiĝis al vi, kaj vi estu ilia gvidanto.

Be prepared, indeed, prepare yourself, You and all your assemblies who are assembled to you, And you have been for a watch for them.

8 Post longa tempo vi estos elvokita; en la lastaj jaroj vi venos en la landon liberigitan el glavo, al la popolo, kolektita el inter multaj gentoj, sur la montojn de Izrael, kiuj ĉiam estis dezertaj, al la popolo, kiu estos elkondukita el inter la gentoj kaj nun tuta loĝas ekster danĝero.

After many days you are appointed, In the latter end of the years you come into a land brought back from sword—Gathered out of many peoples, On mountains of Israel, That have been for a continuous ruin, And it has been brought out from the peoples, And all of them have dwelt safely.

9 Kaj vi leviĝos, kaj venos kiel ventego; vi estos kiel nubego, kiu volas kovri la teron, vi kaj ĉiuj viaj taĉmentoj kaj la multaj popoloj kun vi.

And you have gone up—you come in as desolation, You are as a cloud to cover the land, You and all your bands, and many peoples with you.

10 Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: En tiu tempo venos en vian koron diversaj deziroj, kaj vi pripensos malbonajn intencojn.

Thus said Lord YHWH: And it has come to pass in that day, Things come up on your heart, And you have thought an evil thought,

11 Kaj vi diros: Mi iros kontraŭ la landon nebaritan, mi iros kontraŭ la trankvilulojn, kiuj pensas, ke ili loĝas ekster danĝero, kiuj loĝas ĉiuj sen muroj kaj ne havas riglilojn nek pordojn;

And you have said: I go up over a land of open places, I go to those at rest, dwelling confidently, All of them are dwelling without walls, And they have no bar and doors—

12 por ke mi faru rabadon kaj kaptu kaptaĵon, kaj metu la manon sur la denove loĝatajn ruinojn, kaj sur la popolon, kiu estas rekolektita el inter la nacioj, okupas sin per brutedukado kaj komercado, kaj loĝas sur la centro de la tero.

To take a spoil, and to take a prey, To turn back your hand on inhabited ruins, And on a people gathered out of nations, Making livestock and substance, Dwelling on a high part of the land.

13 Ŝeba kaj Dedan, kaj la komercistoj de Tarŝiŝ, kaj ĉiuj ĝiaj potenculoj diros al vi: Ĉu ne por fari rabadon vi venis? ĉu ne por kapti kaptaĵon vi kolektis vian homomulton, por forporti arĝenton kaj oron, por preni brutojn kaj havaĵojn, por fari grandan rabadon?

Sheba, and Dedan, and merchants of Tarshish, And all its young lions say to you, Are you coming to take spoil? Have you assembled your assembly to take prey? To carry away silver and gold? To take away livestock and substance? To take a great spoil?

14 Tial profetu, ho filo de homo, kaj diru al Gog: Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Ĉu vi ne scias pri tiu tempo, kiam Mia popolo Izrael devas loĝi sendanĝere?

Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to Gog, Thus said Lord YHWH: In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Do you not know?

15 Vi venos de via loko, de la nordaj randoj, vi kaj multaj popoloj kun vi, ĉiuj rajdante sur ĉevaloj, granda homomulto kaj potenca armeo;

And you have come in out of your place, From the sides of the north, You and many peoples with you, Riding on horses—all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force.

16 kaj vi iros kontraŭ Mian popolon Izrael kiel nubo, por kovri la landon. Tio okazos en la lasta tempo. Mi permesos al vi veni en Mian landon, por ke la nacioj ekkonu Min, kiam Mi montros sur vi Mian sanktecon antaŭ iliaj okuloj, ho Gog.

And you have come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, It is in the latter end of the days, And I have brought you in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in you before their eyes, O Gog.

17 Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo: Vi estas ja tiu, pri kiu Mi parolis en la antikva tempo per Miaj servantoj, la profetoj de Izrael, kiuj en tiu tempo antaŭdiris la jarojn, kiam Mi venigos vin sur ilin.

Thus said Lord YHWH: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who were prophesying [for] years in those days, To bring you in against them?

18 En tiu tempo, kiam Gog venos sur la teron de Izrael, diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, leviĝos Mia kolero kaj Mia indigno.

And it has come to pass in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, A declaration of Lord YHWH, My fury comes up in My face,

19 Kaj en Mia fervoro, en la fajro de Mia kolero Mi decidis, ke en tiu tempo estos granda tumulto sur la tero de Izrael;

And in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken: Is there not a great rushing on the land of Israel in that day?

20 kaj ektremos antaŭ Mi la fiŝoj de la maro, la birdoj de la ĉielo, la bestoj de la kampo, ĉiuj rampaĵoj, kiuj rampas sur la tero, kaj ĉiuj homoj, kiuj estas sur la tero; kaj renversiĝos la montoj, falos la rokkrutaĵoj, kaj ĉiuj muroj falos sur la teron.

And rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the bird of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who [are] on the face of the ground, And the mountains have been thrown down, And the ascents have fallen, And every wall falls to the earth.

21 Kaj Mi vokos kontraŭ lin glavon sur ĉiuj Miaj montoj, diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo; ĉiu prenos glavon kontraŭ sian fraton.

And I have called for a sword against him throughout all My mountains, A declaration of Lord YHWH, The sword of each is against his brother.

22 Kaj Mi faros kontraŭ li juĝon per pesto kaj sangoverŝado; Mi sendos pluvegon, ŝtonan hajlon, fajron, kaj sulfuron sur lin kaj sur liajn taĉmentojn, kaj sur la multajn popolojn, kiuj estos kun li.

And I have judged him with pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, I rain fire and brimstone on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who [are] with him.

23 Kaj Mi montros Mian grandecon kaj sanktecon, kaj Mi konatigos Min antaŭ la okuloj de multaj popoloj; kaj ili ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo.

And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
