Daniel 9
1 En la unua jaro de Dario, filo de Aĥaŝveroŝ, el la gento Meda, kiu fariĝis reĝo super la regno de la Ĥaldeoj,
In year one of Darius [the] son of Ahasuerus one of [the] descendant[s] of Media who he had been made king over [the] kingdom of [the] Chaldeans.
2 en la unua jaro de lia reĝado, mi, Daniel, rimarkis en la libroj la nombron de la jaroj, pri kiuj la Eternulo parolis al la profeto Jeremia, ke devas finiĝi sepdek jaroj de la dezerteco de Jerusalem.
In year one of reigning his I Daniel I observed in the scrolls [the] number of the years which it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah the prophet to complete to [the] ruins of Jerusalem seventy year[s].
3 Kaj mi turnis mian vizaĝon al Dio, la Sinjoro, por preĝi kaj petegi, en fastado, sakaĵo, kaj cindro.
And I set! face my to [the] Lord God to seek prayer and supplications with fasting and sackcloth and ash[es].
4 Kaj mi preĝis al la Eternulo, mia Dio, mi faris konfeson, kaj mi diris: Mi petas Vin, ho Sinjoro, Dio granda kaj timinda, kiu konservas la interligon kaj favorkorecon al Liaj amantoj kaj al la plenumantoj de Liaj ordonoj!
And I prayed! to Yahweh God my and I confessed and I said! I beg you O Lord God great and awesome [who] keeps the covenant and covenant loyalty to [those who] love him and to [those who] keep commandments his.
5 Ni pekis, ni malbonagis, ni estis malpiaj, ni ribelis, kaj ni defalis de Viaj ordonoj kaj decidoj;
We have sinned and we have committed iniquity (we have acted wickedly *Q(K)*) and we have rebelled and we have turned aside from commandments your and from judgments your.
6 ni ne aŭskultis Viajn servantojn, la profetojn, kiuj parolis en Via nomo al niaj reĝoj, estroj, kaj patroj, kaj al la tuta popolo de la lando.
And not we have listened to servants your the prophets who they spoke in name your to kings our leaders our and ancestors our and to all [the] people of the land.
7 Vi, ho Sinjoro, estas prava, kaj ni devas honti, kiel nun, ĉiu Judo, la loĝantoj de Jerusalem kaj la tuta Izrael, la proksimaj kaj la malproksimaj, en ĉiuj landoj, kien Vi dispelis ilin pro iliaj malbonagoj, kiujn ili faris koncerne Vin.
[belongs] to You O Lord righteousness and [belongs] to us [the] shame of the faces as the day this to everyone of Judah and to [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem and to all Israel near and far in all the lands where you have banished them there in unfaithfulness their which they acted unfaithfully against you.
8 Ho Sinjoro! ni hontas pro niaj reĝoj, estroj, kaj patroj, kiuj pekis antaŭ Vi.
O Yahweh [belongs] to us [the] shame of the faces to kings our to leaders our and to ancestors our that we have sinned to you.
9 Sed la Sinjoro, nia Dio, havas kompatemon kaj pardonemon, kvankam ni defalis de Li
[belong] to [the] Lord God our compassion and forgiveness for we have rebelled against him.
10 kaj ne aŭskultis la voĉon de la Eternulo, nia Dio, por iradi laŭ Liaj instruoj, kiujn Li donis al ni per Siaj servantoj, la profetoj.
And not we have listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God our to walk in laws his which he set before us by [the] hand of servants his the prophets.
11 La tuta Izrael malobeis Vian instruon, kaj deturnis sin, por ne aŭskulti Vian voĉon; pro tio trafis nin la malbeno kaj la ĵuro, pri kiuj estas skribite en la instruo de Moseo, servanto de Dio; ĉar ni pekis kontraŭ Li.
And all Israel they have transgressed law your and they have turned aside to not to listen to voice your and it has poured forth on us the curse and the oath which [was] written in [the] law of Moses [the] servant of God for we have sinned to him.
12 Kaj Li plenumis Sian vorton, kiun Li diris pri ni, kaj pri niaj juĝistoj, kiuj faradis juĝon ĉe ni, kaj Li venigis sur nin grandan malfeliĉon; sub la tuta ĉielo nenie fariĝis tio, kio fariĝis al Jerusalem.
And he has carried out (word his *Q(K)*) which he spoke on us and on judges our who they judged us by bringing on us a calamity great which not it has been done under all the heavens just as it has been done on Jerusalem.
13 Kiel estas skribite en la instruo de Moseo, tiel trafis nin tiu tuta malfeliĉo; ni tamen ne preĝis antaŭ la Eternulo, nia Dio, deturnante nin de niaj malbonagoj kaj penante kompreni Vian veron.
Just as [it is] written in [the] law of Moses all the calamity this it has come on us and not we have entreated [the] face of - Yahweh God our by turning away from iniquity our and by giving attention to faithfulness your.
14 Kaj la Eternulo viglis super la malfeliĉo kaj venigis ĝin sur nin; ĉar justa estas la Eternulo, nia Dio, en ĉiuj Siaj faroj, kiujn Li faras, sed ni ne aŭskultis Lian voĉon.
And he kept watch Yahweh over the calamity and he brought it on us for [has been] righteous Yahweh God our on all deeds his which he has done and not we listened to voice his.
15 Kaj nun, ho Sinjoro, nia Dio, kiu elkondukis Vian popolon el la lando Egipta per forta mano, kaj faris al Vi gloran nomon, kiel ĝi nun estas, ni pekis, ni estis malpiaj.
And now - O Lord God our who you brought out people your from [the] land of Egypt by a hand strong and you made for yourself a name as the day this we have sinned we have acted wickedly.
16 Ho Sinjoro, konforme al Via tuta bonfaremeco deturniĝu nun Via kolero kaj Via indigno de Via urbo Jerusalem, de Via sankta monto; ĉar pro niaj pekoj kaj pro la malbonagoj de niaj patroj Jerusalem kaj Via popolo estas hontindaĵo antaŭ ĉiuj niaj ĉirkaŭantoj.
O Lord according to all righteousness your may it turn back please anger your and rage your from city your Jerusalem [the] mountain of holiness your for by sins our and by [the] iniquities of ancestors our Jerusalem and people your [have become] a reproach to all around us.
17 Kaj nun aŭskultu, ho nia Dio, la preĝon de Via servanto kaj lian petegon, kaj lumu per Via vizaĝo sur Vian dezertigitan sanktejon, pro la Sinjoro.
And therefore - listen O God our to [the] prayer of servant your and to supplications his and make shine face your on sanctuary your desolate for [the] sake of [the] Lord.
18 Klinu, ho mia Dio, Vian orelon, kaj aŭskultu; malfermu Viajn okulojn, kaj vidu nian ruinigitecon, kaj la urbon, kiu estas nomata per Via nomo; ĉar ne pro nia praveco, sed pro Via granda kompatemeco, ni faligas antaŭ Vi nian preĝon.
Incline O God my - ear your and listen (open *Q(K)*) eyes your and see desolate [things] our and the city which it is called name your on it for - not on righteousness our we [are] making fall supplications our before you for on compassion your great.
19 Ho Sinjoro, aŭskultu! ho Sinjoro, pardonu! ho Sinjoro, atentu kaj agu, ne prokrastu, pro Vi mem, ho mia Dio, ĉar Vian nomon portas Via urbo kaj Via popolo.
O Lord - hear! O Lord - forgive! O Lord be attentive! and act may not you delay for own sake your O God my for name your it is called on city your and on people your.
20 Dum mi ankoraŭ parolis kaj preĝis kaj konfesis miajn pekojn kaj la pekojn de mia popolo Izrael kaj metis mian petegon antaŭ la Eternulon, mian Dion, pri la sankta monto de mia Dio;
And still I [was] speaking and [was] praying and [was] confessing sin my and [the] sin of people my Israel and [was] making fall supplication my before Yahweh God my on [the] mountain of [the] holiness of God my.
21 dum mi ankoraŭ parolis preĝante, la viro Gabriel, kiun mi vidis antaŭe en la vizio, alflugis, kaj ektuŝis min ĉirkaŭ la tempo de la vespera ofero;
And still I [was] speaking in prayer and the man Gabriel whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning wearied with weariness [was] approaching me about [the] time of [the] offering of [the] evening.
22 kaj, klarigante, li ekparolis al mi, kaj diris: Ho Daniel, nun mi eliris, por komprenigi al vi la aferon.
And he gave understanding and he spoke with me and he said O Daniel now I have come forth to give insight you understanding.

At [the] beginning of supplications your it went forth a word and I I have come to declare for [are] precious you and understand the word and understand the vision.

Sevens seventy it has been decreed on people your - and on [the] city of holiness your to put an end to the transgression (and to complete sin *Q(K)*) and to atone for iniquity and to bring righteousness of perpetuity and to seal up vision and prophet and to anoint a holy place of holy places.

So you may know and you will understand from [the] going forth of [the] word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until an anointed [one] a prince sevens seven and sevens sixty and two it will return and it will be built an open place and a moat and in [the] distress of the times.

And after the sevens sixty and two he will be cut off an anointed [one] and nothing [will belong] to him and the city and the sanctuary it will destroy [the] people of a prince who is coming and end his [will be] by flood and [will be] until [the] end war [are] determined desolate [things].
27 En la daŭro de unu jarsepo estos konfirmita la interligo kun multaj, kaj meze de la jarsepo estos ĉesigitaj buĉoferoj kaj farunoferoj; sur la flugiloj de la sanktejo estos abomeninda dezerteco, ĝis la fina destinita pereo falos sur la ruinojn.
And he will make strong a covenant to the many [people] seven one and [the] middle of the seven he will cause to cease - sacrifice and offering and on a wing of abomination desolating and until complete destruction and [what] has been decided it will be poured forth on [one who] is desolate.
