Daniel 3
1 La reĝo Nebukadnecar faris oran statuon, kiu havis la alton de sesdek ulnoj kaj la larĝon de ses ulnoj; kaj li starigis ĝin en la valo Dura en la lando Babela.
Nabugodonosor, the kyng, made a goldun ymage, in the heiythe of sixti cubitis, and in the breede of sixe cubitis; and he settide it in the feeld of Duram, of the prouynce of Babiloyne.
2 Kaj la reĝo Nebukadnecar sendis al la satrapoj, regionestroj, militestroj, ĉefaj juĝistoj, urbestroj, leĝistoj, oficistoj, kaj potenculoj de la lando, ke ili venu al la solena malkovro de la statuo, kiun starigis la reĝo Nebukadnecar.
Therfor Nabugodonosor sente to gadere togidere the wise men, magistratis, and iugis, and duykis, and tirauntis, and prefectis, and alle princes of cuntreis, that thei schulden come togidere to the halewyng of the ymage, which the kyng Nabugodonosor hadde reisid.
3 Tiam kunvenis la satrapoj, regionestroj, militestroj, ĉefaj juĝistoj, urbestroj, leĝistoj, oficistoj, kaj potenculoj de la lando, al la solena malkovro de la statuo, kiun la reĝo Nebukadnecar starigis; kaj ili stariĝis antaŭ la statuo, kiun Nebukadnecar starigis.
Thanne the wise men, magistratis, and iugis, and duykis, and tirauntis, and beste men, that weren set in poweris, and alle the princes of cuntreis, weren gaderid togidere, that thei schulden come togidere to the halewyng of the ymage, which the kyng Nabugodonosor hadde reisid. Forsothe thei stoden in the siyt of the ymage, which Nabugodonosor hadde set; and a bedele criede myytili,
4 Kaj heroldo laŭte proklamis: Estas sciigate al vi, ho popoloj, gentoj, kaj lingvoj:
It is seid to you, puplis, kynredis, and langagis;
5 kiam vi aŭdos la sonon de korno, fluto, harpo, sabeko, psaltero, sakfajfilo, kaj diversaj muzikaj instrumentoj, tiam faligu vin kaj adorkliniĝu al la ora statuo, kiun starigis la reĝo Nebukadnecar.
in the our in which ye heren the soun of trumpe, and of pipe, and of harpe, of sambuke, of sawtre, and of symphonye, and of al kynde of musikis, falle ye doun, and worschipe the goldun ymage, which the kyng Nabugodonosor made.
6 Kiu ne faligos sin kaj ne adorkliniĝos, tiu tuj estos ĵetita en ardantan fornon.
Sotheli if ony man fallith not doun, and worschipith not, in the same our he schal be sent in to the furneis of fier brennynge.
7 Tial, kiam ĉiuj popoloj ekaŭdis la sonon de korno, fluto, harpo, sabeko, psaltero, kaj diversaj muzikaj instrumentoj, ili faligis sin kaj adorkliniĝis al la ora statuo, kiun starigis la reĝo Nebukadnecar.
Therfor aftir these thingis, anoon as alle puplis herden the sown of trumpe, of pipe, and of harpe, of sambuke, and of sawtre, of symphonye, and of al kynde of musikis, alle puplis, lynagis, and langagis fellen doun, and worschipiden the golden ymage, which the kyng Nabugodonosor hadde maad.
8 En tiu tempo tuj aliris kelkaj Ĥaldeoj kaj akuzis la Judojn.
And anoon in that tyme men of Caldee neiyiden, and accusiden the Jewis,
9 Ili ekparolis, kaj diris al la reĝo Nebukadnecar: Ho reĝo, vivu eterne!
and seiden to the kyng Nabugodonosor, Kyng, lyue thou with outen ende.
10 Vi, ho reĝo, ordonis, ke ĉiu homo, kiu aŭdos la sonon de korno, fluto, harpo, sabeko, psaltero, sakfajfilo, kaj diversaj muzikaj instrumentoj, faligu sin kaj adorkliniĝu al la ora statuo;
Thou, kyng, hast set a decree, that ech man that herith the sown of trumpe, of pipe, and of harpe, of sambuke, and of sawtree, and of symphonye, and of al kynde of musikis, bowe doun hym silf, and worschipe the goldun ymage; forsothe if ony man fallith not doun,
11 kaj kiu ne faligos sin kaj ne adorkliniĝos, tiu estu ĵetita en ardantan fornon.
and worschipith not, be he sent in to the furneis of fier brennynge.
12 Ekzistas tamen viroj Judaj, kiujn vi starigis super la aferoj de la lando Babela, Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego; kaj tiuj homoj ne obeas vian ordonon, ho reĝo, ne servas al viaj dioj, kaj ne adorkliniĝas al la ora statuo, kiun vi starigis.
Therfor men Jewis ben, Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, whiche thou hast ordeynede on the werkis of the cuntrei of Babiloyne. Thou kyng, these men han dispisid thi decree; thei onouren not thi goddis, and thei worshipen not the goldun ymage, which thou reisidist.
13 Tiam Nebukadnecar en kolero kaj furiozo ordonis venigi Ŝadraĥon, Meŝaĥon, kaj Abed-Negon; kaj oni tuj venigis tiujn virojn al la reĝo.
Thanne Nabugodonosor comaundide, in woodnesse and in wraththe, that Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago schulden be brouyt; whiche weren brouyt anoon in the siyt of the kyng.
14 Nebukadnecar ekparolis, kaj diris al ili: Ĉu intence vi, ho Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego, ne servas al miaj dioj, kaj ne adorkliniĝas al la ora statuo, kiun mi starigis?
And the kyng Nabugodonosor pronounside, and seide to hem, Whether verili Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, ye onouren not my goddis, and worschipen not the golden ymage, which Y made?
15 De nun, kiam vi ekaŭdos la sonon de korno, fluto, harpo, sabeko, psaltero, sakfajfilo, kaj diversaj muzikaj instrumentoj, estu pretaj tuj faligi vin kaj adorkliniĝi al la statuo, kiun mi faris; se vi ne adorkliniĝos, tiam vi tuj estos ĵetitaj en ardantan fornon; kaj tiam kia dio savos vin el miaj manoj?
Now therfor be ye redi, in what euer our ye heren the sown of trumpe, of pipe, of harpe, of sambuke, of sawtree, and of symphonye, and of al kynde of musikis, bowe ye doun you, and worschipe the ymage which Y made; that if ye worschipen not, in the same our ye schulen be sent in to the furneis of fier brennynge; and who is God, that schal delyuere you fro myn hond?
16 Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego respondis kaj diris al la reĝo: Ho Nebukadnecar, ne estas al ni malfacile respondi al vi pri tio.
Sidrac, Misaac, and Abdenago answeriden, and seiden to the king Nabugodonosor, It nedith not, that we answere of this thing to thee.
17 Ni havas Dion, al kiu ni servas; Li povas savi nin el la ardanta forno kaj ankaŭ savi nin el via mano, ho reĝo.
For whi oure God, whom we worschipen, mai rauysche vs fro the chymenei of fier brennynge, and mai delyuere fro thin hondis, thou kyng.
18 Kaj se Li eĉ tion ne faros, vi tamen sciu, ho reĝo, ke al viaj dioj ni ne servos, kaj al la ora statuo, kiun vi starigis, ni ne adorkliniĝos.
That if he nyle, be it knowun to thee, thou kyng, that we onouren not thi goddis, and we worschipen not the goldun ymage, which thou hast reisid.
19 Tiam Nebukadnecar pleniĝis de furiozo, kaj la aspekto de lia vizaĝo ŝanĝiĝis pro kolero kontraŭ Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego; kaj li ordonis ardigi la fornon sepoble pli forte, ol oni faradis ordinare.
Thanne Nabugodonosor was fillid of woodnesse, and the biholdyng of his face was chaungid on Sidrac, Misaac, and Abdenago. And he comaundide, that the furneis schulde be maad hattere seuenfold, than it was wont to be maad hoot.
20 Kaj al la plej fortaj militistoj el sia militistaro li ordonis ligi Ŝadraĥon, Meŝaĥon, kaj Abed-Negon, kaj ĵeti ilin en la ardantan fornon.
And he comaundide to the strongeste men of his oost, that thei schulden bynde the feet of Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, and sende hem in to the furneis of fier brennynge.
21 Tiam oni ligis tiujn virojn en ilia suba kaj supra vesto, en iliaj kapkovroj kaj aliaj vestoj, kaj oni ĵetis ilin en la ardantan fornon.
And anoon tho men weren boundun, with brechis, and cappis, and schoon, and clothis, and weren sent in to the myddis of the furneis of fier brennynge;
22 Kaj ĉar la ordono de la reĝo estis severa kaj la forno estis ardigita treege, tial tiujn homojn, kiuj ĵetis Ŝadraĥon, Meĥaĥon, kaj Abed-Negon, mortigis la flamo de la fajro.
for whi comaundement of the kyng constreinede. Forsothe the furneis was maad ful hoot; certis the flawme of the fier killid tho men, that hadden sent Sidrac, Misaac, and Abdenago in to the furneis.
23 Kaj tiuj tri viroj, Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego, falis ligitaj en la ardantan fornon.
Sotheli these thre men, Sidrac, Misaac, and Abdenago, fellen doun boundun in the mydis of the chymenei of fier brennynge.
24 Tiam la reĝo Nebukadnecar ekmiregis, kaj en teruro li leviĝis, ekparolis, kaj diris al siaj konsilistoj: Ĉu ne tri virojn ni ĵetis ligitajn en la fajron? Ili respondis al la reĝo: Tiel estas, ho reĝo.
Thanne kyng Nabugodonosor was astonyed, and roos hastily, and seide to hise beste men, Whether we senten not thre men feterid in to the myddis of the fier? Whiche answeriden the kyng, and seiden, Verili, kyng.
25 Sed li parolis plue, kaj diris: Jen mi vidas kvar virojn, ne ligitajn, kiuj iras meze de la fajro kaj estas sendifektaj; kaj la kvara aspektas kvazaŭ filo de la dioj.
The kyng answeride, and seide, Lo! Y se foure men vnboundun, and goynge in the myddis of the fier, and no thing of corrupcioun is in hem; and the licnesse of the fourthe is lijk the sone of God.
26 Kaj Nebukadnecar aliris al la aperturo de la ardanta forno, ekparolis, kaj diris: Ho Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego, servantoj de Dio la Plejalta! eliru, kaj aliru. Tiam Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego eliris el meze de la fajro.
Thanne the kyng Nabugodonosor neiyide to the dore of the furneis of fier brennynge, and seide, Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, the seruauntis of hiy God lyuynge, go ye out, and come ye. And anoon Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, yeden out of the myddis of the fier.
27 Kaj la satrapoj, regionestroj, militestroj, kaj konsilistoj de la reĝo kunvenis, kaj pririgardis tiujn virojn, super kies korpoj la fajro havis nenian forton, tiel, ke eĉ haro sur ilia kapo ne bruldifektiĝis, iliaj vestoj ne ŝanĝiĝis, kaj eĉ odoron de fajro oni ne sentis sur ili.
And the wise men, and magistratis, and iugis, and miyti men of the kyng, weren gaderid togidere, and bihelden tho men, for the fier hadde had no thing of power in the bodies of hem, and an heer of her heed was not brent; also the breechis of hem weren not chaungid, and the odour of fier hadde not passid bi hem.
28 Nebukadnecar ekparolis, kaj diris: Benata estu Dio de Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego, kiu sendis Sian anĝelon, kaj savis Siajn servantojn pro tio, ke ili fidis je Li, ne obeis la ordonon de la reĝo, kaj oferis siajn korpojn, por ne servi kaj adorkliniĝi al alia dio, krom sia Dio.
And Nabugodonosor brac out, and seide, Blessid be the God of hem, that is, of Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, that sente his aungel, and delyueride hise seruauntis, that bileuyden in to hym, and chaungiden the word of the kyng, and yauen her bodies, that thei schulden not serue, and that thei schulden not worschipe ony god, outakun her God aloone.
29 Nun mi donas ordonon: Se iu el ia popolo, gento, aŭ lingvo eldiros blasfemon kontraŭ Dio de Ŝadraĥ, Meŝaĥ, kaj Abed-Nego, tiu estos hakita en pecojn kaj lia domo estos ruinigita; ĉar ne ekzistas alia dio, kiu povus savi tiamaniere.
Therfor this decree is set of me, that ech puple, and langagis, and lynagis, who euer spekith blasfemye ayen God of Sidrac, and of Mysaac, and of Abdenago, perische, and his hous be distried; for noon other is God, that mai saue so.
30 Kaj la reĝo denove tre altigis Ŝadraĥon, Meŝaĥon, kaj Abed-Negon en la lando Babela.
Thanne the kyng auaunside Sidrac, Mysaac, and Abdenago, in the prouynce of Babiloyne; and sente in to al the lond a pistle, conteynynge these wordis.
