2 Timoteo 4

1 Mi ordonas al vi antaŭ Dio, kaj antaŭ Kristo Jesuo, kiu juĝos la vivantojn kaj la mortintojn, kaj pro lia apero kaj lia regno;

I charge you, in the presence of God, and of Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead, at his appearing in his kingdom:

2 prediku la vorton; insistu ĝustatempe, malĝustatempe; konvinku, admonu, konsilu, en ĉia pacienco kaj instruado.

proclaim the word, be instant in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.

3 Ĉar venos tempo, kiam oni ne toleros la sanan instruon; sed havante jukantajn orelojn, amasigos al si instruantojn, laŭ siaj deziroj;

For there will be a time when they will not endure wholesome doctrine; but, having itching ears, they will, according to their own lusts, heap up to themselves teachers:

4 kaj ili deturnos de la vero sian orelon, kaj turnos sin flanken al fabeloj.

and they will, indeed, turn away their ears from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

5 Sed vi estu sobra en ĉio, elportu suferojn, faru la laboron de evangeliisto, plenumu vian servadon.

But do you watch at all times; bear evil treatment; do the work of an evangelist; fully perform your ministry.

6 Ĉar mi jam estas elverŝata kvazaŭ verŝofero, kaj venis la horo de mia foriro.

For I am shortly to be sacrificed, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7 Mi batalis la bonan batalon, mi finis la kuradon, mi gardis la fidon;

I have combated the good combat, I have finished the race, I have continued faithful:

8 de nun estas konservita por mi la krono de justeco, kiun la Sinjoro, la justa juĝisto, donos al mi en tiu tago; kaj ne nur al mi, sed ankaŭ al ĉiuj, kiuj amis lian aperon.

henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will deliver to me at that day; and not to me only, but also to all them who love his appearing.

9 Klopodu veni baldaŭ al mi;

Make haste to come to me soon:

10 ĉar Demas min forlasis, amante la nunan mondon, kaj iris al Tesaloniko; Kreskens al Galatujo, Tito al Dalmatujo. (aiōn g165)

for Demas, having loved the present world, has forsaken me, and has gone to Thessalonica; Crescens into Galatia, and Titus into Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)

11 Nur Luko estas kun mi. Prenu Markon kaj alkonduku lin kun vi, ĉar li utilas al mi por la servado.

Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is very useful to me in the ministry.

12 Sed Tiĥikon mi sendis al Efeso.

But Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.

13 La mantelon, kiun mi lasis en Troas ĉe Karpo, alportu, kiam vi venos, kaj la librojn, precipe la pergamenojn.

The cloak which I left at Troas with Carpus, bring when you come, and the books, especially the parchments.

14 Aleksandro, la kupristo, faris al mi multe da malbono; la Sinjoro redonos al li laŭ liaj faroj;

Alexander, the coppersmith, has done me many evil things; the Lord will reward him according to his works:

15 kontraŭ li vi ankaŭ vin gardu, ĉar li multege kontraŭstaris al niaj vortoj.

of whom beware, for he has greatly opposed our words.

16 Ĉe mia unua pledo, neniu staris kun mi, sed ĉiuj min forlasis; tio ne estu kalkulita kontraŭ ili.

At my first answer, no one appeared with me, but all forsook me. May it not be laid to their charge!

17 Sed la Sinjoro staris apud mi, kaj min fortigis, por ke per mi la anonco estu plene publikigita, kaj ke ĉiuj nacianoj aŭdu; kaj mi forsaviĝis el la buŝo de la leono.

However, the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me, the proclamation might be fully declared, and all the Gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

18 La Sinjoro min savos de ĉiu malbona faro, kaj min savkondukos en sian ĉielan regnon; al li la gloro por ĉiam kaj eterne. Amen. (aiōn g165)

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and preserve me to his heavenly kingdom: to whom ne glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)

19 Salutu Priskilan kaj Akvilan kaj la domon de Onesiforo.

Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the family of Onesiphorus.

20 Erasto restis en Korinto; sed Trofimon mi lasis malsanan en Mileto.

Erastus abode at Corinth; and Trophimus I left at Miletus, sick.

21 Klopodu veni antaŭ la vintro. Salutas vin Eŭbulo kaj Pudens kaj Lino kaj Klaŭdia kaj ĉiuj fratoj.

Make haste to come before winter. Eubulus salutes you; and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.

22 La Sinjoro estu kun via spirito. Graco estu kun vi.

The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Favor be with you.
