1 Samuel 19
1 Saul diris al sia filo Jonatan kaj al ĉiuj siaj servantoj, ke ili mortigu Davidon.
And Saul speaketh unto Jonathan his son, and unto all his servants, to put David to death,
2 Sed Jonatan, filo de Saul, tre amis Davidon. Kaj Jonatan sciigis al David, dirante: Mia patro Saul intencas mortigi vin; tial gardu vin, mi petas, morgaŭ matene: iru en sekretan lokon kaj kaŝu vin.
and Jonathan son of Saul delighted exceedingly in David, and Jonathan declareth to David, saying, 'Saul my father is seeking to put thee to death, and, now, take heed, I pray thee, in the morning, and thou hast abode in a secret place, and been hidden,
3 Kaj mi eliros kaj stariĝos apud mia patro sur tiu kampo, kie vi estos, kaj mi parolos pri vi al mia patro; kaj kiam mi vidos, kiel la afero staras, mi diros al vi.
and I — I go out, and have stood by the side of my father in the field where thou [art], and I speak of thee unto my father, and have seen what [is coming], and have declared to thee.'
4 Kaj Jonatan parolis pri David bonon al sia patro Saul, kaj diris al li: La reĝo ne peku kontraŭ sia sklavo David, ĉar li ne pekis kontraŭ vi kaj ĉar liaj agoj estas tre bonaj por vi;
And Jonathan speaketh good of David unto Saul his father, and saith unto him, 'Let not the king sin against his servant, against David, because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works for thee [are] very good;
5 li riskis sian vivon kaj mortigis la Filiŝton, kaj la Eternulo faris grandan savon al la tuta Izrael; vi tion vidis, kaj vi ĝojis; kial do vi volas peki kontraŭ senkulpa sango kaj mortigi Davidon senkaŭze?
yea, he putteth his life in his hand, and smiteth the Philistine, and Jehovah worketh a great salvation for all Israel; thou hast seen, and dost rejoice, and why dost thou sin against innocent blood, to put David to death for nought?'
6 Kaj Saul aŭskultis la voĉon de Jonatan, kaj Saul ĵuris: Mi ĵuras per la Eternulo, li ne mortos.
And Saul hearkeneth to the voice of Jonathan, and Saul sweareth, 'Jehovah liveth — he doth not die.'
7 Tiam Jonatan alvokis Davidon, kaj Jonatan rakontis al li ĉion ĉi tion; kaj Jonatan alkondukis Davidon al Saul, ke li estu antaŭ ĉi tiu kiel antaŭe.
And Jonathan calleth for David, and Jonathan declareth to him all these words, and Jonathan bringeth in David unto Saul, and he is before him as heretofore.
8 Komenciĝis denove milito; kaj David eliris kaj batalis kontraŭ la Filiŝtoj, kaj frapis ilin per granda frapo, kaj ili forkuris de li.
And there addeth to be war, and David goeth out and fighteth against the Philistines, and smiteth among them — a great smiting, and they flee from his face.
9 Sed la malbona spirito, sendita de la Eternulo, denove venis sur Saulon, kiam li sidis en sia domo kaj lia lanco estis en lia mano kaj David ludis per la mano.
And a spirit of sadness [from] Jehovah is unto Saul, and he is sitting in his house, and his javelin in his hand, and David is playing with the hand,
10 Kaj Saul intencis alpiki per la lanco Davidon al la muro; sed David forsaltis de Saul, kaj la lanco enpikiĝis en la muron, kaj David forkuris kaj saviĝis en tiu nokto.
and Saul seeketh to smite with the javelin through David, and through the wall, and he freeth himself from the presence of Saul, and he smiteth the javelin through the wall; and David hath fled and escapeth during that night.
11 Tiam Saul sendis senditojn al la domo de David, por fari gardon kontraŭ li kaj mortigi lin matene. Sed al David diris lia edzino Miĥal jene: Se vi ne savos vian animon en ĉi tiu nokto, vi morgaŭ estos mortigita.
And Saul sendeth messengers unto the house of David to watch him, and to put him to death in the morning; and Michal his wife declareth to David, saying, 'If thou art not delivering thy life to-night — tomorrow thou art put to death.'
12 Kaj Miĥal malsuprenigis Davidon per la fenestro, kaj li foriris, forkuris, kaj saviĝis.
And Michal causeth David to go down through the window, and he goeth on, and fleeth, and escapeth;
13 Poste Miĥal prenis doman dion, metis ĝin sur la liton, ĉirkaŭ ĝian kapon ŝi metis tapiŝon el kapra felo, kaj kovris ĝin per vesto.
and Michal taketh the teraphim, and layeth on the bed, and the mattress of goats' [hair] she hath put [for] his pillows, and covereth with a garment.
14 Kiam Saul sendis senditojn, por preni Davidon, ŝi diris: Li estas malsana.
And Saul sendeth messengers to take David, and she saith, 'He [is] sick.'
15 Saul sendis la senditojn, ke ili rigardu Davidon, kaj li diris al ili: Alportu lin al mi kun la lito, por ke oni mortigu lin.
And Saul sendeth the messengers to see David, saying, 'Bring him up in the bed unto me,' — to put him to death.
16 La senditoj venis, kaj vidis, ke sur la lito estas doma dio kaj ĉirkaŭ ĝia kapo estas tapiŝo el kapra felo.
And the messengers come in, and lo, the teraphim [are] on the bed, and the mattress of goats' [hair], [for] his pillows.
17 Kaj Saul diris al Miĥal: Kial vi tiel trompis min kaj foririgis mian malamikon, ke li saviĝu? Kaj Miĥal diris al Saul: Li diris al mi: Foririgu min, ĉar alie mi vin mortigos.
And Saul saith unto Michal, 'Why thus hast thou deceived me — that thou dost send away mine enemy, and he is escaped?' and Michal saith unto Saul, 'He said unto me, Send me away: why do I put thee to death?'
18 Dume David forkuris kaj saviĝis, kaj venis al Samuel en Raman, kaj rakontis al li ĉion, kion faris al li Saul. Kaj li kaj Samuel iris kaj restis en Najot.
And David hath fled, and is escaped, and cometh in unto Samuel to Ramath, and declareth to him all that Saul hath done to him, and he goeth, he and Samuel, and they dwell in Naioth.
19 Kaj oni raportis al Saul, dirante: Jen David estas nun en Najot, en la regiono de Rama.
And it is declared to Saul, saying, 'Lo, David [is] in Naioth in Ramah.'
20 Tiam Saul sendis senditojn, por preni Davidon. Sed ili ekvidis aron da profetoj, kiuj estis profetantaj, kaj Samuelon, kiu staris super ili; kaj venis sur la senditojn de Saul la spirito de Dio, kaj ili ankaŭ ekprofetis.
And Saul sendeth messengers to take David, and they see the assembly of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing, set over them, and the Spirit of God is on Saul's messengers, and they prophesy — they also.
21 Kiam oni tion raportis al Saul, li sendis aliajn senditojn; sed ankaŭ ili ekprofetis. Kaj Saul plue sendis triajn senditojn, sed ankaŭ ili ekprofetis.
And they declare [it] to Saul, and he sendeth other messengers, and they prophesy — they also; and Saul addeth and sendeth messengers a third time, and they prophesy — they also.
22 Tiam li mem iris en Raman, kaj venis al la granda puto, kiu estas en Seĥu, kaj demandis: Kie estas Samuel kaj David? Kaj oni respondis: En Najot, en la regiono de Rama.
And he goeth — he also — to Ramath, and cometh in unto the great well which [is] in Sechu, and asketh, and saith, 'Where [are] Samuel and David?' and [one] saith, 'Lo, in Naioth in Ramah.'
23 Kaj li iris tien, en Najoton en la Rama regiono; sed tiam ankaŭ sur lin venis la spirito de Dio, kaj li iris ĉiam profetante, ĝis li venis en Najoton en la Rama regiono.
And he goeth thither — unto Naioth in Ramah, and the Spirit of God is upon him — him also; and he goeth, going on, and he prophesieth till his coming in to Naioth in Ramah,
24 Kaj li ankaŭ demetis siajn vestojn, kaj li ankaŭ profetis antaŭ Samuel, kaj li kuŝis senveste dum tiu tuta tago kaj dum la tuta nokto. Tial oni diras: Ĉu ankaŭ Saul estas inter la profetoj?
and he strippeth off — he also — his garments, and prophesieth — he also — before Samuel, and falleth down naked all that day and all the night; therefore they say, 'Is Saul also among the prophets?'
