1 Reĝoj 15

1 En la dek-oka jaro de la reĝo Jerobeam, filo de Nebat, ekreĝis Abijam super Judujo.

And in the eighteenth yeere of King Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, reigned Abiiam ouer Iudah.

2 Tri jarojn li reĝis en Jerusalem. La nomo de lia patrino estis Maaĥa, filino de Abiŝalom.

Three yeere reigned hee in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Maachah the daughter of Abishalom.

3 Li iradis en ĉiuj pekoj de sia patro, kiujn ĉi tiu faris antaŭ li; kaj lia koro ne estis plene fordonita al la Eternulo, lia Dio, kiel la koro de lia patro David.

And hee walked in all the sinnes of his father, which hee had done before him: and his heart was not perfit with the Lord his God as the heart of Dauid his father.

4 Sed pro David la Eternulo, lia Dio, donis al li lumilon en Jerusalem, starigante lian filon post li kaj subtenante Jerusalemon;

But for Dauids sake did the Lord his God giue him a light in Ierusalem, and set vp his sonne after him, and established Ierusalem,

5 pro tio, ke David faradis tion, kio plaĉas al la Eternulo, kaj dum sia tuta vivo ne forkliniĝis de ĉio, kion Li ordonis al li, krom la afero kun Urija, la Ĥetido.

Because Dauid did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and turned from nothing that he commanded him, all the dayes of his life, saue onely in the matter of Vriah the Hittite.

6 Kaj milito estis inter Reĥabeam kaj Jerobeam dum lia tuta vivo.

And there was warre betweene Rehoboam and Ieroboam as long as he liued.

7 La cetera historio de Abijam, kaj ĉio, kion li faris, estas priskribitaj en la libro de kroniko de la reĝoj de Judujo. Kaj milito estis inter Abijam kaj Jerobeam.

The rest also of the actes of Abiiam, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah? there was also warre betweene Abiiam, and Ieroboam.

8 Kaj Abijam ekdormis kun siaj patroj, kaj oni enterigis lin en la urbo de David. Kaj anstataŭ li ekreĝis lia filo Asa.

And Abiiam slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the citie of Dauid: and Asa his sonne reigned in his steade.

9 En la dudeka jaro de la reĝado de Jerobeam super Izrael ekreĝis Asa super Judujo.

And in the twentie yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel reigned Asa ouer Iudah.

10 Kaj kvardek unu jarojn li reĝis en Jerusalem. La nomo de lia patrino estis Maaĥa, filino de Abiŝalom.

He reigned in Ierusalem one and fourtie yeere, and his mothers name was Maachah the daughter of Abishalom.

11 Kaj Asa agadis, kiel plaĉas al la Eternulo, kiel lia patro David.

And Asa did right in the eyes of the Lord, as did Dauid his father.

12 Kaj li elpelis la malĉastistojn el la lando, kaj forigis ĉiujn idolojn, kiujn faris liaj patroj.

And he tooke away the Sodomites out of the lande, and put away all the idoles that his fathers had made.

13 Kaj eĉ sian patrinon Maaĥa li senigis je ŝia titolo de reĝino, pro tio, ke ŝi faris idolon por Aŝtar. Kaj Asa dishakis ŝian idolon kaj forbruligis ĉe la torento Kidron.

And he put downe Maachah his mother also from her estate, because shee had made an idole in a groue: and Asa destroyed her idoles, and burnt them by the brooke Kidron.

14 Tamen la altaĵoj ne estis forigitaj; sed la koro de Asa estis perfekta ĉe la Eternulo dum lia tuta vivo.

But they put not downe the hie places. Neuertheles Asas heart was vpright with the Lord all his dayes.

15 Li enportis en la domon de la Eternulo la konsekritaĵojn de sia patro kaj siajn proprajn konsekritaĵojn, arĝenton kaj oron kaj vazojn.

Also he brought in the holy vessels of his father, and the things that he had dedicated vnto ye house of the Lord, siluer, and golde, and vessels.

16 Kaj milito estis inter Asa kaj Baaŝa, reĝo de Izrael, dum ilia tuta vivo.

And there was warre betweene Asa and Baasha King of Israel all their dayes.

17 Kaj Baaŝa, reĝo de Izrael, iris kontraŭ Judujon, kaj li konstruis Raman, por bari la eliradon kaj eniradon al Asa, reĝo de Judujo.

Then Baasha king of Israel went vp against Iudah, and buylt Ramah, so that he woulde let none go out or in to Asa King of Iudah.

18 Tiam Asa prenis la tutan arĝenton kaj oron, kiu restis en la trezorejo de la domo de la Eternulo kaj en la trezorejo de la reĝa domo, kaj donis tion en la manojn de siaj servantoj; kaj la reĝo Asa sendis ilin al Ben-Hadad, filo de Tabrimon, filo de Ĥezjon, reĝo de Sirio, kiu loĝis en Damasko, kaj dirigis al li:

Then Asa tooke all the siluer and the gold that was left in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the kings house, and deliuered them into the handes of his seruantes, and King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad the sonne of Tabrimon, the sonne of Hezion king of Aram that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

19 Estas interligo inter mi kaj vi, inter mia patro kaj via patro; jen mi sendas al vi donacon, arĝenton kaj oron; neniigu vian interligon kun Baaŝa, reĝo de Izrael, por ke li foriru de mi.

There is a couenant betweene me and thee, and betweene my father and thy father: behold, I haue sent vnto thee a present of siluer and golde: come, breake thy couenant with Baasha King of Israel, that he may depart from me.

20 Kaj Ben-Hadad obeis la reĝon Asa, kaj sendis siajn militestrojn kontraŭ la urbojn de Izrael kaj venkobatis Ijonon kaj Danon kaj Abel-Bet-Maaĥan kaj la tutan Kineroton, la tutan landon de Naftali.

So Ben-hadad hearkened vnto King Asa, and sent the captaines of the hosts, which he had, against the cities of Israel, and smote lion, and Dan, and Abel-beth-maachah, and all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

21 Kiam Baaŝa tion aŭdis, li ĉesis konstrui Raman kaj restis en Tirca.

And when Baasha heard thereof, hee left buylding of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

22 Tiam la reĝo Asa kunvokis ĉiujn Judojn, sen escepto; kaj ili forportis la ŝtonojn de Rama kaj ĝian lignon, el kiuj Baaŝa faris la konstruadon; kaj la reĝo Asa konstruis el tio Geban de Benjamen kaj Micpan.

Then king Asa assembled al Iudah, none excepted. and they tooke the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had buylt, and King Asa built with them Geba of Beniamin and Mizpah.

23 La cetera historio de Asa, kaj lia heroeco, kaj ĉio, kion li faris, kaj la urboj, kiujn li konstruis, estas priskribitaj en la libro de kroniko de la reĝoj de Judujo. Nur en sia maljuneco li malsaniĝis je siaj piedoj.

And the rest of all the actes of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities which he buylt, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah? but in his olde age he was diseased in his feete.

24 Kaj Asa ekdormis kun siaj patroj, kaj oni enterigis lin kun liaj patroj en la urbo de lia patro David. Kaj anstataŭ li ekreĝis lia filo Jehoŝafat.

And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father. And Iehoshaphat his sonne reigned in his steade.

25 Nadab, filo de Jerobeam, fariĝis reĝo super Izrael en la dua jaro de Asa, reĝo de Judujo; kaj li reĝis super Izrael du jarojn.

And Nadab the sonne of Ieroboam began to reigne ouer Israel the second yere of Asa King of Iudah, and reigned ouer Israel two yeere.

26 Kaj li faris malbonon antaŭ la okuloj de la Eternulo, kaj iris laŭ la vojo de sia patro kaj en liaj pekoj, per kiuj li pekigis Izraelon.

And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of his father, and in his sinne wherewith he made Israel to sinne.

27 Kaj faris konspiron kontraŭ li Baaŝa, filo de Aĥija, el la domo de Isaĥar, kaj Baaŝa mortigis lin ĉe Gibeton de la Filiŝtoj, kiam Nadab kaj ĉiuj Izraelidoj sieĝis Gibetonon.

And Baasha the sonne of Ahijah of ye house of Issachar conspired against him, and Baasha slue him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistims: for Nadab and all Israel layde siege to Gibbethon.

28 Kaj Baaŝa mortigis lin en la tria jaro de Asa, reĝo de Judujo, kaj ekreĝis anstataŭ li.

Euen in the third yeere of Asa King of Iudah did Baasha slay him, and reigned in his steade.

29 Kaj kiam li fariĝis reĝo, li mortigis la tutan domon de Jerobeam; li ne restigis ĉe Jerobeam eĉ unu animon, ĝis li tute lin ekstermis, konforme al la vorto de la Eternulo, kiun Li diris per Sia servanto Aĥija, la Ŝiloano;

And when he was King, he smote all the house of Ieroboam, he left none aliue to Ieroboam, vntill hee had destroyed him, according to the word of the Lord which he spake by his seruant Ahijah the Shilonite,

30 pro la pekoj de Jerobeam, per kiuj li pekis kaj per kiuj li pekigis Izraelon, pro la incito, per kiu li kolerigis la Eternulon, Dion de Izrael.

Because of the sinnes of Ieroboam which he committed, and wherewith he made Israel to sinne, by his prouocation, wherewith he prouoked the Lord God of Israel.

31 La cetera historio de Nadab, kaj ĉio, kion li faris, estas priskribitaj en la libro de kroniko de la reĝoj de Izrael.

And the residue of the actes of Nadab, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

32 Milito estis inter Asa kaj Baaŝa, reĝo de Izrael, dum ilia tuta vivo.

And there was warre betweene Asa and Baasha King of Israel, all their dayes.

33 En la tria jaro de Asa, reĝo de Judujo, ekreĝis Baaŝa, filo de Aĥija, super la tuta Izrael en Tirca por la daŭro de dudek kvar jaroj.

In the thirde yeere of Asa King of Iudah, began Baasha the sonne of Ahijah to reigne ouer all Israel in Tirzah, and reigned foure and twentie yeeres.

34 Kaj li faris malbonon antaŭ la okuloj de la Eternulo, kaj iris laŭ la vojo de Jerobeam kaj en liaj pekoj, per kiuj li pekigis Izraelon.

And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of Ieroboam, and in his sinne, wherewith he made Israel to sinne.
