1 La filoj de Isaĥar estis: Tola, Pua, Jaŝub, kaj Ŝimron — kvar.
And of the sons of Issachar: Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.
2 La idoj de Tola: Uzi, Refaja, Jeriel, Jaĥmaj, Jibsam, kaj Ŝemuel, ĉefoj de patrodomoj de Tola, kuraĝaj militistoj en siaj generacioj; ilia nombro en la tempo de David estis dudek du mil sescent.
And the sons of Tola: Uzzi and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valour according to their generations, even of Tola; their number in the days of David was two and twenty thousand and six hundred.
3 La idoj de Uzi: Jizraĥja; la idoj de Jizraĥja: Miĥael, Obadja, Joel, kaj Jiŝija — kune kvin patrodomoj.
And the sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah; and the sons of Izrahiah: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Isshiah, five; all of them chief men.
4 Kun ili, laŭ iliaj generacioj, laŭ iliaj patrodomoj, estis da militistoj armitaj por milito tridek ses mil; ĉar ili havis multe da edzinoj kaj infanoj.
And with them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the host for war, six and thirty thousand; for they had many wives and sons.
5 Da iliaj fratoj, en ĉiuj familioj de Isaĥar, estis okdek sep mil batalkapabluloj, ĉiuj enskribitaj en la genealogiajn listojn.
And their brethren among all the families of Issachar, mighty men of valour, reckoned in all by genealogy, were fourscore and seven thousand.
6 Ĉe Benjamen: Bela, Beĥer, kaj Jediael — tri.
The sons of Benjamin: Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.
7 La idoj de Bela: Ecbon, Uzi, Uziel, Jerimot, kaj Iri — kvin patrodomoj, militkapablaj. En la genealogiaj listoj ili prezentis la nombron de dudek du mil tridek kvar.
And the sons of Bela: Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of fathers' houses, mighty men of valour; and they were reckoned by genealogy twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.
8 La idoj de Beĥer: Zemira, Joaŝ, Eliezer, Eljoenaj, Omri, Jeremot, Abija, Anatot, kaj Alemet; ĉiuj ili estis la filoj de Beĥer.
And the sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jeremoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher.
9 En la listoj, laŭ ilia genealogio, laŭ iliaj patrodomoj, estis dudek mil ducent batalkapabluloj.
And they were reckoned by genealogy, after their generations, heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valour, twenty thousand and two hundred.
10 La idoj de Jediael: Bilhan; la idoj de Bilhan: Jeuŝ, Benjamen, Ehud, Kenaana, Zetan, Tarŝiŝ, kaj Aĥiŝaĥar.
And the sons of Jediael: Bilhan; and the sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 Ĉiuj ili estis la idoj de Jediael, laŭ patrodomoj, batalkapabluloj, dek sep mil ducent armitaj por milito.
All these were sons of Jediael, even heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valour, seventeen thousand and two hundred, that were able to go forth in the host for war.
12 Ŝupim kaj Ĥupim, idoj de Ir; Ĥuŝim, idoj de Aĥer.
Shuppim also, and Huppim, the sons of Ir, Hushim, the son of another.
13 La filoj de Naftali: Jaĥciel, Guni, Jecer, kaj Ŝalum, filoj de Bilha.
The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.
14 La filoj de Manase: Asriel, kiun naskis lia kromvirino, Sirianino; ŝi naskis ankaŭ Maĥiron, la patron de Gilead.
The sons of Manasseh: Asriel, whom his wife bore — his concubine the Aramitess bore Machir the father of Gilead;

and Machir took a wife of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maacah — and the name of the second was Zelophehad; and Zelophehad had daughters.

And Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rekem.
17 La filo de Ulam estis Bedan. Tio estas la filoj de Gilead, filo de Maĥir, filo de Manase.
And the sons of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.
18 Lia fratino Moleĥet naskis Iŝ-Hodon, Abiezeron, kaj Maĥlan.
And his sister Hammolecheth bore Ish-hod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 La filoj de Ŝemida estis: Aĥjan, Ŝeĥem, Likĥi, kaj Aniam.
And the sons of Shemida were Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
20 La idoj de Efraim: Ŝutelaĥ, kaj lia filo Bered, kaj lia filo Taĥat, kaj lia filo Eleada, kaj lia filo Taĥat,
And the sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah — and Bered was his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son,
21 kaj lia filo Zabad, kaj lia filo Ŝutelaĥ, kaj Ezer, kaj Elead. Kaj mortigis ilin la loĝantoj de Gat, la indiĝenoj de la lando, kiam ili iris, por forpreni iliajn brutojn.
and Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son — and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in the land slew, because they came down to take away their cattle.

And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

And he went in to his wife, and she conceived, and bore a son, and he called his name Beriah, because it went evil with his house.

And his daughter was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper, and Uzzen-sheerah.

27 lia filo estis Nun, lia filo estis Josuo.
Nun his son, Joshua his son.

And their possessions and habitations were Beth-el and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem also and the towns thereof, unto Aiah and the towns thereof;
29 ĉe la flanko de la Manaseidoj: Bet-Ŝean kun ĝiaj filinurboj, Taanaĥ kun ĝiaj filinurboj, Megido kun ĝiaj filinurboj, Dor kun ĝiaj filinurboj. En tiuj lokoj loĝis la idoj de Jozef, filo de Izrael.
and by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Beth-shean and the towns thereof, Taanach and the towns thereof, Megiddo and the towns thereof, Dor and the towns thereof. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.
30 La filoj de Aŝer: Jimna, Jiŝva, Jiŝvi, Beria; ilia fratino estis Seraĥ.
The sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.
31 La filoj de Beria: Ĥeber, kaj Malkiel, kiu estis la patro de Birzait.
And the sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
32 Ĥeber naskigis Jafleton, Ŝomeron, Ĥotamon, kaj Ŝuan, ilian fratinon.
And Heber begot Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.
33 La filoj de Jaflet: Pasaĥ, Bimhal, kaj Aŝvat. Tio estas la filoj de Jaflet.
And the sons of Japhlet: Pasach, and Bimhal, and Asvath. These are the children of Japhlet.
34 La filoj de Ŝemer: Aĥi, Rohaga, Jeĥuba, kaj Aram.
And the sons of Shemer: Ahi, and Rohgah, and Hubbah, and Aram.
35 La filoj de lia frato Helem: Cofaĥ, Jimna, Ŝeleŝ, kaj Amal.
And the sons of Helem his brother: Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.
36 La filoj de Cofaĥ: Suaĥ, Ĥarnefer, Ŝual, Beri, Jimra,
The sons of Zophah: Suah, and Harnepher, and Shaul, and Beri, and Imrah;
37 Becer, Hod, Ŝama, Ŝilŝa, Jitran, kaj Beera.
Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilsha, and Ithran, and Beera.
38 La filoj de Jeter: Jefune, Pispa, kaj Ara.
And the sons of Jether: Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
39 La filoj de Ula: Araĥ, Ĥaniel, kaj Ricja.
And the sons of Ulla: Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 Ĉiuj ĉi tiuj estis idoj de Aŝer, ĉefoj de patrodomoj, elektitaj, kuraĝaj militistoj, ĉefaj estroj. Ili estis enskribitaj en la genealogia listo, en la militistaro, por milito; ilia nombro estis dudek ses mil viroj.
All these were the children of Asher, heads of the fathers' houses, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the princes. And the number of them reckoned by genealogy for service in war was twenty and six thousand men.
