1 Jen estas la filoj de David, kiuj naskiĝis al li en Ĥebron: la unuenaskito Amnon, de la Jizreelanino Aĥinoam; la dua estis Daniel, de la Karmelanino Abigail;

Truly, David had these sons, who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelite; the second Daniel, from Abigail the Carmelite;

2 la tria estis Abŝalom, filo de Maaĥa, filino de Talmaj, reĝo de Geŝur; la kvara estis Adonija, filo de Ĥagit;

the third Absalom, the son of Maacah, daughter of Talmai, king of Geshur; the fourth Adonijah, the son of Haggith;

3 la kvina estis Ŝefatja, de Abital; la sesa estis Jitream, de lia edzino Egla;

the fifth Shephatiah, of Abital; the sixth Ithream, from his wife Eglah.

4 ses naskiĝis al li en Ĥebron. Li reĝis tie sep jarojn kaj ses monatojn; kaj tridek tri jarojn li reĝis en Jerusalem.

Therefore, six were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned for seven years and six months. Then he reigned for thirty-three years in Jerusalem.

5 Kaj jen estas tiuj, kiuj naskiĝis al li en Jerusalem: Ŝimea, Ŝobab, Natan, Salomono — ĉi tiuj kvar de Bat-Ŝua, filino de Amiel;

Now in Jerusalem, sons were born to him: Shammua, and Sobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, these four from Bathsheba, the daughter of Ammiel;

6 Jibĥar, Eliŝama, Elifelet,

also Ibhar and Elishama,

7 Noga, Nefeg, Jafia,

and Eliphelet, and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

8 Eliŝama, Eljada, kaj Elifelet — naŭ.

indeed also Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.

9 Tio estas ĉiuj filoj de David, krom la filoj de kromvirinoj; kaj ilia fratino estis Tamar.

All these were sons of David, aside from the sons of the concubines. And they had a sister, Tamar.

10 La filo de Salomono estis Reĥabeam; la filo de ĉi tiu estis Abija; la filo de ĉi tiu: Asa; la filo de ĉi tiu: Jehoŝafat;

Now the son of Solomon was Rehoboam, from whom Abijah conceived a son, Asa. And from him, there was born Jehoshaphat,

11 la filo de ĉi tiu: Joram; la filo de ĉi tiu: Aĥazja; la filo de ĉi tiu: Joaŝ;

the father of Jehoram. And Jehoram conceived Ahaziah, from whom there was born Jehoash.

12 la filo de ĉi tiu: Amacja; la filo de ĉi tiu: Azarja; la filo de ĉi tiu: Jotam;

And his son, Amaziah, conceived Azariah. Then Jotham, the son of Azariah,

13 la filo de ĉi tiu: Aĥaz; la filo de ĉi tiu: Ĥizkija; la filo de ĉi tiu: Manase;

conceived Ahaz, the father of Hezekiah, from whom was born Manasseh.

14 la filo de ĉi tiu: Amon; la filo de ĉi tiu: Joŝija.

Then too, Manasseh conceived Amon, the father of Josiah.

15 La filoj de Joŝija estis: la unuenaskito Joĥanan, la dua Jehojakim, la tria Cidkija, la kvara Ŝalum.

Now the sons of Josiah were these: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.

16 La filoj de Jehojakim: lia filo Jeĥonja, lia filo Cidkija.

From Jehoiakim was born Jeconiah and Zedekiah.

17 La filoj de Jeĥonja: Asir, lia filo Ŝealtiel,

The sons of Jeconiah the captive were: Shealtiel,

18 Malkiram, Pedaja, Ŝenacar, Jekamja, Ĥoŝama, kaj Nedabja.

Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, and Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 La filoj de Pedaja: Zerubabel kaj Ŝimei. La filoj de Zerubabel: Meŝulam, Ĥananja; ilia fratino estis Ŝelomit;

From Pedaiah, there rose up Zerubbabel and Shimei. Zerubbabel conceived Meshullam, Hananiah, and their sister Shelomith,

20 ankaŭ ĉi tiuj kvin: Ĥaŝuba, Ohel, Bereĥja, Ĥasadja, kaj Juŝab-Ĥesed.

as well as Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab-hesed, five.

21 La idoj de Ĥananja: Pelatja kaj Jeŝaja; la filoj de Refaja, la filoj de Arnan, la filoj de Obadja, la filoj de Ŝeĥanja.

Now the son of Hananiah was Pelatiah, the father of Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah. And his son was Arnan, from whom was born Obadiah, whose son was Shecaniah.

22 La filo de Ŝeĥanja estis Ŝemaja; la filoj de Ŝemaja: Ĥatuŝ, Jigal, Bariaĥ, Nearja, kaj Ŝafat — ses.

The son of Shecaniah was Shemaiah, whose sons were these: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six in number.

23 La filoj de Nearja: Eljoenaj, Ĥizkija, kaj Azrikam — tri.

The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiaj, and Azrikam, three.

24 La filoj de Eljoenaj: Hodavja, Eljaŝib, Pelaja, Akub, Joĥanan, Delaja, kaj Anani — sep.

The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
