1 Kroniko 27

1 La Izraelidoj havis laŭ sia nombro ĉefojn de patrodomoj, milestrojn, centestrojn, kaj siajn inspektistojn, kiuj servis al la reĝo pri ĉiuj aferoj de la apartaĵoj, interŝanĝante sin ĉiumonate, en ĉiuj monatoj de la jaro. Ĉiu apartaĵo konsistis el dudek kvar mil.

Now, the sons of Israel—as to the number of them, the ancestral chiefs—and rulers of thousands and hundreds, and their officers who waited upon the king as to any matter of the courses, who came in and went out month by month, for all the months of the year, in each course, were twenty-four thousand.

2 Super la unua apartaĵo en la unua monato estis Jaŝobeam, filo de Zabdiel; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil;

Over the first course, for the first month, was Jashobeam, son of Zabdiel, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

3 li estis el la idoj de Perec, la ĉefo de ĉiuj militestroj por la unua monato.

Of the sons of Perez, was the chief for all the rulers of the hosts, for the first month.

4 Super la apartaĵo de la dua monato estis Dodaj, la Aĥoĥido; en lia apartaĵo estis ankaŭ la princo Miklot; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

And, over the course for the second month, was Dodai an Ahohite, and, of his course, was Mikloth also a chief ruler, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

5 La tria militestro, por la tria monato, estis Benaja, filo de la pastro Jehojada; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The ruler of the third host, for the third month, was Benaiah, son of Jehoiada the priest—a chief, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

6 Ĉi tiu Benaja estis el la tridek herooj, kaj estro super ili; en lia apartaĵo estis lia filo Amizabad.

The same Benaiah, was a hero of thirty, and over the thirty, —and, over his course, was Ammizabad his son.

7 La kvara, por la kvara monato, estis Asahel, frato de Joab, kaj post li lia filo Zebadja; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel, brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son, after him, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

8 La kvina, por la kvina monato, estis la estro Ŝamhut, la Jizraĥido; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

Of the fifth, for the fifth month, the ruler, was Shamhuth the Izrahite, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

9 La sesa, por la sesa monato, estis Ira, filo de Ikeŝ, la Tekoaano; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira son of Ikkesh, the Tekoite, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

10 La sepa, por la sepa monato, estis Ĥelec, la Pelonano, el la Efraimidoj; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

11 La oka, por la oka monato, estis Sibĥaj, la Ĥuŝaido, el la Zeraĥidoj; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

12 La naŭa, por la naŭa monato, estis Abiezer, la Anatotano, el la Benjamenidoj; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

13 La deka, por la deka monato, estis Maharaj, la Netofaano, el la Zeraĥidoj; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

14 La dek-unua, por la dek-unua monato, estis Benaja, la Piratonano, el la Efraimidoj; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

15 La dek-dua, por la dek-dua monato, estis Ĥeldaj, la Netofaano, el la Otnielidoj; en lia apartaĵo estis dudek kvar mil.

The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel, —and, in his course, were twenty-four thousand.

16 Kaj super la triboj de Izrael: la estro de la Rubenidoj estis Eliezer, filo de Ziĥri; de la Simeonidoj: Ŝefatja, filo de Maaĥa;

Furthermore, over the tribes of Israel, the chief ruler of the Reubenites, was Eliezer, son of Zichri. Of the Simeonites, Shephatiah, son of Maacah.

17 de la Levidoj: Ĥaŝabja, filo de Kemuel; de la Aaronidoj: Cadok;

Of Levi, Hashabiah, son of Kemuel. Of Aaron, Zadok.

18 de la Jehudaidoj: Elihu, el la fratoj de David; de la Isaĥaridoj: Omri, filo de Miĥael;

Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David. Of Issachar, Omri, son of Michael.

19 de la Zebulunidoj: Jiŝmaja, filo de Obadja; de la Naftaliidoj: Jerimot, filo de Azriel;

Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah, son of Obadiah. Of Naphtali, Jeremoth, son of Azriel.

20 de la Efraimidoj: Hoŝea, filo de Azazja; de la duontribo de Manase: Joel, filo de Pedaja;

Of the sons of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Azaziah. Of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel, son of Pedaiah.

21 de la duontribo de Manase en Gilead: Jido, filo de Zeĥarja; de la Benjamenidoj: Jaasiel, filo de Abner;

Of the half of Manasseh, in Gilead, Iddo, son of Zechariah. Of Benjamin, Jaasiel, son of Abner.

22 de la Danidoj: Azarel, filo de Jeroĥam. Tio estis la estroj de la triboj de Izrael.

Of Dan, Azarel, son of Jeroham. These, were the rulers of the tribes of Israel.

23 Sed David ne faris kalkulon de tiuj, kiuj havis la aĝon de malpli ol dudek jaroj; ĉar la Eternulo promesis multigi Izraelon simile al la steloj de la ĉielo.

But David took not the number of them, from twenty years old, and under, —because Yahweh had said, he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.

24 Joab, filo de Ceruja, komencis la kalkuladon, sed ne finis. Kaj pro tio estis kolero kontraŭ Izrael; kaj tiu kalkulado ne estas enportita en la kronikon pri la reĝo David.

Joab son of Zeruiah, began to number, but finished not, when there arose, on this account, indignation against Israel, —neither did the number come up into the account of the chronicles of King David.

25 Super la trezoroj de la reĝo estis Azmavet, filo de Adiel; super la trezoroj sur la kampo, en la urboj, en la vilaĝoj, kaj en la turoj estis Jonatan, filo de Uzija.

And, over the treasuries of the king, was Azmaveth, son of Adiel. And, over the treasuries in the fields, in the cities, in the villages and in the castles, was Jonathan, son of Uzziah;

26 Super la plenumantoj de la laboroj sur la kampo, super la terkultivo, estis Ezri, filo de Kelub.

And, over the workers of the field, for the tillage of the ground, was Ezri, son of Chelub.

27 Super la vinberĝardenoj estis Ŝimei, la Ramaano; super la provizoj de vino en la vinberĝardenoj estis Zabdi, la Ŝefamano.

And, over the vineyards, was Shimei, the Ramathite. And, over that which was in the vineyards, for the treasuries of wine, was Zabdi, the Shiphmite.

28 Super la olivarboj kaj super la sikomoroj, kiuj estis en la valo, estis Baal-Ĥanan, la Gederano; super la provizoj de oleo estis Joaŝ.

And, over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland, was Baal-hanan the Gederite. And, over the treasuries of oil, was Joash.

29 Super la bovoj, kiuj paŝtiĝis en Ŝaron, estis Ŝitraj, la Ŝaronano; super la bovoj en la valoj estis Ŝafat, filo de Adlaj.

And, over the herds that pastured in Sharon, was Shitrai, the Sharonite. And, over the herds in the vales, Shaphat, son of Adlai.

30 Super la kameloj estis Obil, la Iŝmaelido; super la azeninoj estis Jeĥdeja, la Meronotano.

And, over the camels, was Obil, the Ishmaelite. And, over the asses, was Jehdeyahu the Meronothite.

31 Super la ŝafoj estis Jaziz, la Hagarido. Ĉiuj ĉi tiuj estis estroj super la havaĵoj, kiujn posedis la reĝo David.

And, over the flocks, was Jaziz, the Hagrite. All these, were rulers over the possessions that belonged to King David.

32 Jonatan, onklo de David, estis konsilisto; li estis homo kompetenta kaj klera; Jeĥiel, filo de Ĥaĥmoni, estis ĉe la filoj de la reĝo.

And, Jonathan the relative of David, was a counsellor, a man of understanding and a scribe, was he. And, Jehiel son of Hachmoni, was with the sons of the king.

33 Aĥitofel estis konsilisto de la reĝo; Ĥuŝaj, la Arkano, estis amiko de la reĝo.

And, Ahitophel, was counsellor to the king. And, Hushai the Archite, was the companion of the king.

34 Post Aĥitofel estis Jehojada, filo de Benaja, kaj Ebjatar; la militestro de la reĝo estis Joab.

And, after Ahitophel, was Jehoiada son of Benaiah—and Abiathar. And, the captain of the king’s army, was Joab.
