1 Kroniko 25

1 David kaj la militestroj apartigis por la servado filojn de Asaf, de Heman, kaj de Jedutun, kiuj estis inspiritaj por harpoj, psalteroj, kaj cimbaloj. Ili estis kalkulitaj por sia servado:

Moreover David and the chief. officers of the army separated for the ministry the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Idithun: to prophesy with harps, and with psalteries, and with cymbals according to their number serving in their appointed office.

Of the sons of Asaph: Zacchur, and Joseph, and Nathania, and Asarela, sons of Asaph: under the hand of Asaph prophesying near the king.

3 De Jedutun, la filoj de Jedutun: Gedalja, Ceri, Jeŝaja, Ĥaŝabja, kaj Matitja, ses, sub gvidado de sia patro Jedutun, kiu ludis inspirite sur harpo, por laŭdi kaj glori la Eternulon.

And of Idithun: the sons of Idithun, Godolias, Serf, Jeseias, and Hasabias, and Mathathias, six, under the hand of their father Idithun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the Lord.

4 De Heman, la filoj de Heman: Bukija, Matanja, Uziel, Ŝebuel, Jerimot, Ĥananja, Ĥanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joŝbekaŝa, Maloti, Hotir, kaj Maĥaziot.

Of Heman also: the sons of Heman, Bocciau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, and Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, and Romemthiezer, and Jesbacassa, Mellothi, Othir, Mahazioth:

5 Ĉiuj ili estis filoj de Heman, viziisto de la reĝo koncerne la vortojn de Dio, por levi la kornon. Dio donis al Heman dek kvar filojn kaj tri filinojn.

All these were the sons of Heman the seer of the king in the words of God, to lift up the horn: and God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 Ĉiuj ĉi tiuj estis sub la gvidado de siaj patroj ĉe la kantado en la domo de la Eternulo, kun cimbaloj, psalteroj, kaj harpoj, ĉe la servado en la domo de Dio, sub la gvidado de la reĝo, Asaf, Jedutun, kaj Heman.

All these under their father’s hand were distributed to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, and psalteries and harps, for the service of the house of the Lord near the king: to wit, Asaph, and Idithun, and Heman.

7 Ilia nombro, kune kun iliaj fratoj, instruitaj por kanti antaŭ la Eternulo, ĉiuj kompetentuloj, estis ducent okdek ok.

And the number of them with their brethren, that taught the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred and eighty-eight,

8 Ili lotis pri la vico de sia deĵorado, la malgrandaj egale kiel la grandaj, kompetentulo egale kiel lernanto.

And they cast lots by their courses, the elder equally with the younger, the learned and the unlearned together.

9 La unua loto eliris ĉe Asaf por Jozef; la dua por Gedalja; li kun siaj fratoj kaj siaj filoj estis dek du;

And the first lot came forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph. The second to Godolias, to him and his sons, and his brethren twelve.

The third to Zachur, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The fourth to Isari, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The fifth to Nathania, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The sixth to Bocciau, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The seventh to Isreela, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

15 la oka por Jeŝaja; liaj filoj kaj fratoj estis dek du;

The eighth to Jesaia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

16 la naŭa por Matanja; liaj filoj kaj fratoj estis dek du;

The ninth to Mathanaias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

17 la deka por Ŝimei; liaj filoj kaj fratoj estis dek du;

The tenth to Semeias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

18 la dek-unua por Azarel; liaj filoj kaj fratoj estis dek du;

The eleventh to Azareel, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

19 la dek-dua por Ĥaŝabja; liaj filoj kaj fratoj estis dek du;

The twelfth to Hasabia, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

20 la dek-tria por Ŝubael; liaj filoj kaj fratoj estis dek du;

The thirteenth to Subael, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

21 la dek-kvara por Matitja; liaj filoj kaj fratoj estis dek du;

The fourteenth to Mathathias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

22 la dek-kvina por Jeremot; liaj filoj kaj fratoj estis dek du;

The fifteenth to Jerimoth, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The sixteenth to Hananias, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The eighteenth to Hanani, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The nineteenth to Mellothi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The twentieth to Eliatha, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The one and twentieth to Othir, to his sons and his brethren twelve.

The two and twentieth to Geddelthi, to his sons and his brethren twelve.
