1 Kaj oni alportis la keston de Dio, kaj metis ĝin interne de la tendo, kiun David starigis por ĝi; kaj oni alportis bruloferojn kaj pacoferojn antaŭ Dion.
And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it; and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2 Kiam David finis la oferadon de la bruloferoj kaj de la pacoferoj, li benis la popolon en la nomo de la Eternulo.
And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offerings and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.
3 Kaj li disdonis al ĉiuj Izraelidoj, kiel al la viroj, tiel ankaŭ al la virinoj, al ĉiu po unu bulo da pano, po unu porcio da viando, kaj po unu peniko da sekvinberoj.
And he dealt out to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
4 Kaj li starigis antaŭ la kesto de la Eternulo el la Levidoj servantojn, por kantadi gloron, dankon, kaj laŭdon al la Eternulo, Dio de Izrael:
And he placed before the ark of the Lord several of the Levites as ministers, and to chaunt hymns, and to give praise and thanks unto the Lord the God of Israel:
5 la ĉefo estis Asaf, la dua estis Zeĥarja, poste Jeiel, Ŝemiramot, Jeĥiel, Matitja, Eliab, Benaja, Obed-Edom, kaj Jeiel, kun psalteroj kaj harpoj, kaj Asaf sonigadis per cimbaloj;
Assaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah; Je'iel, and Shemiramoth, and Jechiel, and Matthithyah, and Eliab, and Benayahu, and 'Obed-edom; and Je'iel with psalteries and with harps; but Assaph played aloud with the cymbals.
6 Benaja kaj Jaĥaziel, la pastroj, estis kun trumpetoj ĉiam antaŭ la kesto de interligo de Dio.
And Benayahu and Jachaziel the priests were with the trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Tiam, en tiu tago, David la unuan fojon aranĝis dankokanton al la Eternulo per Asaf kaj liaj fratoj:
On that day—then did David appoint for the first time to give thanks to the Lord through means of Assaph and his brethren.
8 Gloru la Eternulon, voku Lian nomon; Sciigu inter la popoloj Liajn farojn.
O give thanks unto the Lord; call on his name; make known among the people his deeds.
9 Kantu al Li, muziku al Li; Parolu pri ĉiuj Liaj mirakloj.
Sing unto him, sing praises unto him: speak of all his wonderful works.
10 Laŭdu Lian sanktan nomon; Ĝoju la koro de tiuj, kiuj serĉas la Eternulon.
Glorify yourselves in his holy name: let the heart of those rejoice that seek the Lord.
11 Turnu vin al la Eternulo kaj al Lia potenco; Serĉu ĉiam Lian vizaĝon.
Inquire after the Lord and his strength: seek his presence evermore.
12 Memoru Liajn miraklojn, kiujn Li faris; Liajn signomiraklojn kaj la juĝojn de Lia buŝo;
Remember his wonderful works which he hath done, his tokens, and the decrees of his mouth;
13 Vi, semo de Izrael, Lia sklavo, Filoj de Jakob, Liaj elektitoj.
O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his elect.
14 Li estas la Eternulo, nia Dio; Sur la tuta tero estas Liaj juĝoj.
He is the Lord our God: over all the earth are his decrees.
15 Memoru eterne Lian interligon, La vorton, kiun Li testamentis por mil generacioj,
Remember ye for ever his covenant, the word which he hath commanded to the thousandth generation.
16 Kiun Li interkonsentis kun Abraham Kaj ĵuris al Isaak.
Which he covenanted with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
17 Li metis ĝin por Jakob kiel leĝon, Por Izrael kiel eternan interligon,
And which he established unto Jacob as a statute, unto Israel as an everlasting covenant;
18 Dirante: Al vi Mi donos la landon Kanaanan Kiel vian parton heredan.
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your inheritance;
19 Kiam vi estis malgrandnombraj, Malmultaj, kaj fremduloj en ĝi,
When ye were but few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
20 Kaj ili iradis de popolo al popolo, El unu regno al alia gento,
And when they wandered from one nation to another, and from one kingdom to another people:
21 Tiam Li al neniu permesis premi ilin, Kaj Li punis pro ili reĝojn;
He suffered no man to oppress them; yea, he reproved kings for their sake.
22 Dirante: Ne tuŝu Miajn sanktoleitojn, Kaj al Miaj profetoj ne faru malbonon.
Saying, “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”—
23 Kantu al la Eternulo la tuta tero; Proklamu de tago al tago Lian savon.
Sing unto the Lord all ye lands: announce from day to day his salvation.
24 Rakontu inter la popoloj Lian gloron, Inter ĉiuj gentoj Liajn miraklojn.
Relate among the nations his glory: among all the people his wonderful deeds.
25 Ĉar la Eternulo estas granda kaj tre glorinda; Li estas timinda super ĉiuj dioj;
For great is the Lord, and greatly praised; and he is to be feared above all gods.
26 Ĉar ĉiuj dioj de la popoloj estas idoloj; Sed la Eternulo kreis la ĉielon.
For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord hath made the heavens.
27 Gloro kaj majesto estas antaŭ Li; Forto kaj beleco estas sur Lia loko.
Majesty and honor are in his presence, strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Tributu al la Eternulo, familioj de la popoloj; Tributu al la Eternulo gloron kaj potencon.
Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye families of people, ascribe unto the Lord glory and strength.
29 Tributu al la Eternulo honoron de Lia nomo; Alportu donacon, kaj venu antaŭ Lin; Adorkliniĝu antaŭ la Eternulo en sankta ornamo.
Ascribe unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; take up an offering, and come into his presence; bow down before the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
30 Tremu antaŭ Li la tuta tero; Li aranĝis ja la mondon, ke ĝi ne ŝanceliĝu.
Tremble before him, all ye lands! Also the world standeth firmly, that it be not moved.
31 Ĝoju la ĉielo, kaj estu gaja la tero; Kaj oni diru inter la nacioj: La Eternulo reĝas.
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.
32 Bruu la maro, kaj ĉio, kio ĝin plenigas; Ĝoju la kampo, kaj ĉio, kio estas sur ĝi.
Let the sea roar, with all that filleth it: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
33 Tiam kantu ĉiuj arboj de la arbaro antaŭ la Eternulo, Ĉar Li venas, por juĝi la teron.
Then shall the trees of the forest sing joyfully at the presence of the Lord; because he cometh to judge the earth.
34 Laŭdu la Eternulon, ĉar Li estas bona; Ĉar eterna estas Lia favorkoreco.
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; because unto everlasting endureth his kindness.
35 Kaj diru: Savu nin, ho Dio de nia savo, Kolektu nin kaj liberigu nin el inter la nacioj, Por ke ni danku Vian sanktan nomon, Por ke ni gloru nin per Via majesto.
And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, to glorify ourselves in thy praise.
36 Benata estu la Eternulo, Dio de Izrael, De eterne ĝis eterne. Kaj la tuta popolo diris: Amen! kaj gloro al la Eternulo!
Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel from everlasting even unto everlasting. And all the people said, Amen, and praise unto the Lord.
37 Kaj li restigis tie antaŭ la kesto de interligo de la Eternulo Asafon kaj liajn fratojn, por servadi antaŭ la kesto konstante, laŭ la ordo de ĉiu tago;
And he left there in charge before the ark of the covenant of the Lord Assaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, at the work of every day on its day,
38 kaj Obed-Edomon kaj liajn fratojn, sesdek ok; Obed-Edom, filo de Jedutun, kaj Ĥosa, restis kiel pordegistoj;
And 'Obed-edom with their brethren, sixty and eight, and 'Obed-edom the son of Jeduthun and Chossah to be gatekeepers;
39 kaj la pastron Cadok kaj liajn fratojn, la pastrojn, antaŭ la loĝejo de la Eternulo sur la altaĵo en Gibeon,
And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the Lord, in the high-place that was at Gib'on,
40 por ke ili alportadu bruloferojn al la Eternulo sur la altaro de bruloferoj konstante, matene kaj vespere, kaj por ĉio, kio estas skribita en la instruo de la Eternulo, kiun Li donis al Izrael.
To offer burnt-offerings unto the Lord upon the altar of the burnt-offering continually at morning and at evening, and this in accordance with all that is written in the law of the Lord which he had commanded concerning Israel;
41 Kaj kun ili estis Heman kaj Jedutun, kaj la aliaj elektitoj, difinitaj laŭnome, por kantadi laŭdon al la Eternulo, ĉar eterna estas Lia favorkoreco;
And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were selected who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the Lord, because unto everlasting endureth his kindness;
42 kun ili estis Heman kaj Jedutun, kun trumpetoj kaj cimbaloj kaj aliaj instrumentoj por kantado antaŭ Dio; kaj la filoj de Jedutun estis ĉe la pordego.
And with them, with Heman and Jeduthun, the trumpets and cymbals to play aloud, and the musical instruments of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be for the service at the gate.
43 Kaj la tuta popolo disiris ĉiu en sian domon; kaj David iris returne, por beni sian domon.
And all the people went every man to his house; and David turned about to bless his house.
