1 Kroniko 14
1 Ĥiram, reĝo de Tiro, sendis al David senditojn, kaj cedran lignon, kaj masonistojn kaj ĉarpentistojn, por ke ili konstruu por li domon.
Then sent Hiram the King of Tyrus messengers to Dauid, and cedar trees, with masons and carpenters to builde him an house.
2 Kaj David konsciis, ke la Eternulo fortikigis lin kiel reĝon super Izrael, ke lia regno leviĝis alte pro Lia popolo Izrael.
Therefore Dauid knewe that the Lord had confirmed him King ouer Israel, and that his kingdome was lift vp on hie, because of his people Israel.
3 Kaj David prenis ankoraŭ edzinojn en Jerusalem, kaj David naskigis ankoraŭ filojn kaj filinojn.
Also Dauid tooke moe wiues at Ierusalem, and Dauid begate moe sonnes and daughters.
4 Kaj jen estas la nomoj de tiuj, kiuj naskiĝis al li en Jerusalem: Ŝamua kaj Ŝobab, Natan kaj Salomono
And these are the names of the children which he had at Ierusalem, Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Salomon,
5 kaj Jibĥar kaj Eliŝua kaj Elpelet
And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,
6 kaj Noga kaj Nefeg kaj Jafia
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Iaphia,
7 kaj Eliŝama kaj Beeljada kaj Elifelet.
And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.
8 Kiam la Filiŝtoj aŭdis, ke David estas oleita kiel reĝo super la tuta Izrael, tiam ĉiuj Filiŝtoj iris, por serĉi Davidon. David aŭdis pri tio, kaj li eliris kontraŭ ilin.
But when the Philistims heard that Dauid was anointed King ouer Israel, all the Philistims came vp to seeke Dauid. And when Dauid heard, he went out against them.
9 Kaj la Filiŝtoj venis kaj okupis la valon Refaim.
And the Philistims came, and spred them selues in the valley of Rephaim.
10 Kaj David demandis Dion, dirante: Ĉu mi iru kontraŭ la Filiŝtojn? kaj ĉu Vi transdonos ilin en mian manon? Kaj la Eternulo diris al li: Iru, ĉar Mi transdonos ilin en vian manon.
Then Dauid asked counsel at God, saying, Shall I goe vp against the Philistims, and wilt thou deliuer them into mine hande? And the Lord saide vnto him, Goe vp: for I will deliuer them into thine hande.
11 Kaj ili iris al Baal-Peracim, kaj David venkobatis ilin tie. Kaj David diris: Dio disbatis miajn malamikojn per mia mano, kiel oni disbatas akvon. Tial oni donis al tiu loko la nomon Baal-Peracim.
So they came vp to Baal-perazim, and Dauid smote them there: and Dauid said, God hath deuided mine enemies with mine hande, as waters are deuided: therefore they called the name of that place, Baal-perazim.
12 Kaj ili lasis tie siajn diojn; kaj David ordonis, ke oni forbruligu ilin per fajro.
And there they had left their gods: and Dauid said, Let them euen be burnt with fire.
13 Kaj denove venis la Filiŝtoj kaj okupis la valon.
Againe the Philistims came and spread them selues in the valley.
14 Tiam David denove demandis Dion, kaj Dio diris al li: Ne iru post ili, deturnu vin de ili, kaj venu al ili de la flanko de la morusarboj;
And when Dauid asked againe counsell at God, God said to him, Thou shalt not goe vp after them, but turne away from them, that thou mayest come vpon them ouer against the mulberie trees.
15 kaj kiam vi ekaŭdos la sonon de paŝoj sur la supro de la morusarboj, tiam komencu la batalon; ĉar Dio eliris antaŭ vi, por frapi la tendaron de la Filiŝtoj.
And when thou hearest the noyse of one going in the toppes of the mulberie trees, then goe out to battel: for God is gone foorth before thee, to smite the hoste of the Philistims.
16 Kaj David faris, kiel ordonis al li Dio; kaj ili venkobatis la tendaron de la Filiŝtoj de Gibeon ĝis Gezer.
So Dauid did as God had commanded him: and they smote the hoste of the Philistims from Gibeon euen to Gezer.
17 Kaj la nomo de David fariĝis fama en ĉiuj landoj; kaj la Eternulo faris lin timata de ĉiuj nacioj.
And the fame of Dauid went out into all landes, and the Lord brought the feare of him vpon all nations.
