1 Kroniko 13
1 David konsiliĝis kun la milestroj, centestroj, kaj ĉiuj ĉefoj;
And Dauid counselled with the captaines of thousandes and of hundreths, and with all the gouernours.
2 kaj David diris al la tuta komunumo de Izrael: Se plaĉas al vi, kaj se tio estas de la Eternulo, nia Dio, ni dissendu ĉiuflanken al ĉiuj ceteraj niaj fratoj en ĉiujn regionojn de Izrael, kaj samtempe al la pastroj kaj Levidoj en la urbojn de ilia loĝado, ke ili kolektiĝu al ni;
And Dauid said to all the Congregation of Israel, If it seeme good to you, and that it proceedeth of the Lord our God, we will sende to and from vnto our brethren, that are left in all the lande of Israel (for with them are the Priests and the Leuites in the cities and their suburbes) that they may assemble them selues vnto vs.
3 kaj ni transportu al ni la keston de nia Dio, ĉar ni ne turnis nin al Li en la tempo de Saul.
And we will bring againe the Arke of our God to vs: for we sought not vnto it in the dayes of Saul.
4 Kaj la tuta komunumo diris, ke oni tiel agu; ĉar la afero plaĉis al la tuta popolo.
And all the Congregation answered, Let vs doe so: for the thing seemed good in the eyes of all the people.
5 Tiam David kolektis la tutan Izraelon, de Ŝiĥor la Egipta ĝis Ĥamat, por ke oni venigu la keston de Dio el Kirjat-Jearim.
So Dauid gathered all Israel together from Shihor in Egypt, euen vnto the entring of Hamath, to bring the Arke of God from Kiriath-iearim.
6 Kaj David kun la tuta Izrael iris en Baalan, en Kirjat-Jearimon, kiu troviĝas en Judujo, por venigi de tie la keston de Dio, de la Eternulo, kiu sidas sur la keruboj, kie estas vokata Lia nomo.
And Dauid went vp and all Israel to Baalath, in Kiriath-iearim, that was in Iudah, to bring vp from thence the Arke of God the Lord that dwelleth betweene the Cherubims, where his Name is called on.
7 Kaj oni veturigis la keston de Dio sur nova veturilo el la domo de Abinadab, kaj Uza kaj Aĥjo kondukis la veturilon.
And they caryed the Arke of God in a newe cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Vzza and Ahio guided the cart.
8 Kaj David kaj ĉiuj Izraelidoj ludis antaŭ Dio per la tuta forto, kun kantoj, harpoj, psalteroj, tamburinoj, cimbaloj, kaj trumpetoj.
And Dauid and all Israel played before God with all their might, both with songes and with harpes, and with violes, and with timbrels and with cymbales and with trumpets.
9 Kiam ili alvenis al la draŝejo de Kidon, Uza etendis sian manon, por subteni la keston, ĉar la bovoj klinpuŝis ĝin.
And when they came vnto the thresshing floore of Chidon, Vzza put forth his hand to holde the Arke, for the oxen did shake it.
10 Tiam ekflamis la kolero de la Eternulo kontraŭ Uza, kaj Li mortigis lin pro tio, ke li etendis sian manon al la kesto; kaj li mortis tie antaŭ Dio.
But the wrath of the Lord was kindled against Vzza, and he smote him, because he layed his hande vpon the Arke: so he dyed there before God.
11 Kaj afliktiĝis David pro tio, ke la Eternulo frapis Uzan, kaj li donis al tiu loko la nomon Perec-Uza, ĝis la nuna tago.
And Dauid was angrie, because the Lord had made a breach in Vzza, and he called the name of that place Perez-vzza vnto this day.
12 Kaj David ektimis Dion en tiu tago, kaj diris: Kiamaniere mi enportos al mi la keston de Dio?
And Dauid feared God that day, saying, Howe shall I bring in to me the Arke of God?
13 Kaj David ne transportigis la keston al si, en la urbon de David, sed li direktis ĝin en la domon de Obed-Edom, la Gatano.
Therefore Dauid brought not the Arke to him into the citie of Dauid, but caused it to turne into the house of Obed Edom the Gittite.
14 Kaj la kesto de Dio restis kun la familio de Obed-Edom en lia domo dum tri monatoj; kaj la Eternulo benis la domon de Obed-Edom, kaj ĉion, kio apartenis al li.
So the Arke of God remained in the house of Obed Edom, euen in his house three moneths: and the Lord blessed the house of Obed Edom, and all that he had.
