1 Kroniko 12
1 Jen estas tiuj, kiuj venis al David en Ciklagon, kiam li estis ankoraŭ kaŝita antaŭ Saul, filo de Kiŝ; ili ankaŭ estis inter la herooj, helpantoj en la milito;
Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he kept still close because of Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men who helped him in the conflict;
2 armitaj per pafarko, povosciantaj ĵeti ŝtonojn kaj pafarkajn sagojn per la dekstra mano kaj per la maldekstra, el la fratoj de Saul, Benjamenidoj:
armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left with stones and with arrows on the bow; [they were] of Saul's brethren of Benjamin:
3 la ĉefo Aĥiezer, kaj Joaŝ, filoj de Ŝemaa, la Gibeaano, Jeziel kaj Pelet, filoj de Azmavet, Beraĥa, kaj Jehu, la Anatotano,
the chief Ahiezer, and Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Anathothite,
4 Jiŝmaja, la Gibeonano, heroo el tridek kaj super tridek, Jeremia, Jaĥaziel, Joĥanan, kaj Jozabad, la Gederaano,
and Jishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite.
5 Eluzaj, Jerimot, Bealja, Ŝemarja, kaj Ŝefatja, la Ĥarufano,
Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;
6 Elkana, Jiŝija, Azarel, Joezer, kaj Jaŝobeam, la Koraĥidoj,
Elkanah, and Jishijah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korahites;
7 Joela kaj Zebadja, filoj de Jeroĥam, el Gedor.
and Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
8 El la Gadidoj apartiĝis al David en la fortikigitan lokon en la dezerto kuraĝaj militistoj, kapablaj batalistoj, armitaj per ŝildo kaj lanco; iliaj vizaĝoj estis kiel vizaĝo de leono, kaj rapidkuraj ili estis, kiel gazeloj sur la montoj:
And of the Gadites, there separated themselves to David in the stronghold in the wilderness mighty men of valour, men fit for the service of war, armed with shield and spear; whose faces were [like] the faces of lions, and who were swift as the gazelles upon the mountains:
9 Ezer estis la ĉefo, Obadja la dua, Eliab la tria,
Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
10 Miŝmana la kvara, Jeremia la kvina,
Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
11 Ataj la sesa, Eliel la sepa,
Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
12 Joĥanan la oka, Elzabad la naŭa,
Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
13 Jeremia la deka, Maĥbanaj la dek-unua.
Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.
14 Ĉi tiuj el la Gadidoj estis ĉefoj en la militistaro: la plej malgranda estis super cent, kaj la plej granda super mil.
These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over a hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.
15 Ili estis tiuj, kiuj transiris Jordanon en la unua monato, kiam ĝi inundis siajn ambaŭ bordojn, kaj ili dispelis ĉiujn loĝantojn de la valoj orienten kaj okcidenten.
These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it overflows all its banks, and they put to flight all [them] of the valleys, toward the east and toward the west.
16 Ankaŭ el la idoj de Benjamen kaj de Jehuda oni venis en la fortikigitan lokon al David.
And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the stronghold to David.
17 Kaj David eliris renkonte al ili, kaj ekparolis kaj diris al ili: Se vi venis al mi kun paco, por helpi al mi, mia koro estos kun vi; sed se por ruze transdoni min al miaj malamikoj, kvankam miaj manoj estas senkulpaj, tiam vidu tion Dio de niaj patroj, kaj Li juĝu.
And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them, If ye come peaceably to me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers see [it] and rebuke [it].
18 Kaj spirito venis sur Amasajon, la estron de la herooj, kaj li diris: Al vi, ho David, kaj kun vi, ho filo de Jiŝaj, estu paco; paco al vi, kaj paco al viaj helpantoj, ĉar al vi helpas via Dio. Kaj David ilin akceptis kaj faris ilin ĉefoj de la militistoj.
And the Spirit came upon Amasai, the chief of the captains, [and he said, ] Thine [are we], David, And with thee, thou son of Jesse: Peace, peace be to thee! And peace be to thy helpers! For thy God helps thee. And David received them, and made them chiefs of bands.
19 Ankaŭ el la Manaseidoj oni aliĝis al David, kiam li iris kun la Filiŝtoj milite kontraŭ Saulon, sed ne helpis al ili; ĉar post konsiliĝo la estroj de la Filiŝtoj forsendis lin, dirante: Kun niaj kapoj li aliĝos al sia sinjoro Saul.
And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not; for the lords of the Philistines upon deliberation sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul at the peril of our heads.
20 Kiam li venis en Ciklagon, aliĝis al li el la Manaseidoj: Adnaĥ, Jozabad, Jediael, Miĥael, Jozabad, Elihu, kaj Ciltaj, milestroj de la Manaseidoj.
As he went away to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh: Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.
21 Kaj ili helpis al David kontraŭ la militistoj, ĉar ili ĉiuj estis herooj, kaj ili estis estroj en militistaro.
And they helped David in his expeditions; for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.
22 Ĉiutage oni venis pli al David, por helpi al li, ĝis kolektiĝis granda armeo, kiel armeo de Dio.
For day by day there came [men] to David to help him, until it was a great camp, like the camp of God.
23 Jen estas la nombro de la ĉefaj armitaj militistoj, kiuj venis al David en Ĥebronon, por transdoni al li la regnon de Saul, konforme al la vorto de la Eternulo:
And this is the number of the men equipped for military service, who came to David to Hebron, to transfer the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of Jehovah.
24 da Jehudaidoj, portantaj ŝildon kaj lancon, estis ses mil okcent armitaj por la militistaro;
The children of Judah that bore shield and spear were six thousand eight hundred, equipped for military service.
25 el la Simeonidoj, batalkapablaj por la militistaro, estis sep mil cent;
Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for war, seven thousand one hundred.
26 el la Levidoj estis kvar mil sescent;
Of the children of Levi four thousand six hundred.
27 kaj Jehojada, estro de Aaronidoj, kaj kun li tri mil sepcent;
And Jehoiada the prince of Aaron, and with him were three thousand seven hundred;
28 kaj Cadok, kuraĝa junulo, kaj lia patrodomo, dudek du estroj;
and Zadok, a valiant young man, and his father's house two and twenty chief men.
29 el la Benjamenidoj, samtribanoj de Saul, tri mil; ĝis tiam la plimulto el ili fidele servis al la domo de Saul;
And of the children of Benjamin, the brethren of Saul, three thousand; but hitherto the greater part of them had adhered to the house of Saul.
30 el la Efraimidoj dudek mil okcent kuraĝaj militistoj, viroj famaj en siaj patrodomoj;
And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand eight hundred, mighty men of valour, men of name in their fathers' houses.
31 el la duontribo de Manase dek ok mil, kiuj estis vokitaj laŭnome, por iri reĝigi Davidon;
And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, who were expressed by name, to come and make David king.
32 el la Isaĥaridoj, kiuj komprenis la cirkonstancojn, kaj sciis, kion Izrael devas fari, estis ducent ĉefoj, kaj ĉiuj iliaj fratoj agis laŭ iliaj vortoj;
And of the children of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their bidding.
33 el la Zebulunidoj, militkapablaj, kaj irantaj en militon kun ĉiaj bataliloj, estis kvindek mil, por enviciĝi en konkordo;
Of Zebulun, such as went forth in the host, armed for war with all weapons of war, fifty thousand, keeping rank without double heart.
34 el la Naftaliidoj estis mil estroj, kaj kun ili tridek sep mil kun ŝildoj kaj lancoj;
And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them thirty-seven thousand with shield and spear.
35 el la Danidoj, armitaj por milito, estis dudek ok mil sescent;
And of the Danites armed for war twenty-eight thousand six hundred.
36 el la Aŝeridoj, militkapablaj kaj pretaj por milito, kvardek mil;
And of Asher such as went forth in the host, to set themselves in battle array, forty thousand.
37 de trans Jordan, el la Rubenidoj, la Gadidoj, kaj la duontribo de Manase, kun ĉiaj militaj bataliloj, cent dudek mil.
And from the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of weapons of war for battle, a hundred and twenty thousand.
38 Ĉiuj tiuj militistoj, prezentantaj aranĝitajn vicojn, venis plenkore en Ĥebronon, por fari Davidon reĝo super la tuta Izrael; ankaŭ ĉiuj ceteraj Izraelidoj estis unuanimaj, por reĝigi Davidon.
All of them men of war, keeping rank in battle array, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
39 Kaj ili restis tie kun David dum tri tagoj, manĝis kaj trinkis; ĉar iliaj fratoj pretigis por ili;
And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking; for their brethren had prepared for them;
40 ankaŭ tiuj, kiuj estis proksime de ili, ĝis Isaĥar, Zebulun, kaj Naftali, alportadis al ili sur azenoj, kameloj, muloj, kaj bovoj manĝaĵon el faruno, premitajn figojn, sekvinberojn, vinon, oleon, bovojn, kaj ŝafojn en granda kvanto; ĉar estis ĝojo en Izrael.
and those too that were near them, as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought food on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen; provisions of meal, fig-cakes and raisin-cakes, and wine and oil, and oxen and sheep, abundantly; for there was joy in Israel.
