Zechariah 7
1 And it cometh to pass, in the fourth year of Darius the king hath a word of Jehovah been unto Zechariah, in the fourth of the ninth month, in Chisleu.
दारा राजाले चार वर्ष शासन गरिसकेपछि, किसलेव (अर्थात् नवौँ महिना) को चौथो दिनमा, परमप्रभुको वचन जकरियाकहाँ आयो ।
2 And Beth-El sendeth Sherezer and Regem-Melech, and its men, to appease the face of Jehovah,
बेथेलका मानिसहरूले शरेसेर र रेगेम-मेलक र तिनीहरूका मानिसहरूलाई परमप्रभुको सामु बिन्ती गर्न पठाए ।
3 speaking unto the priests who [are] at the house of Jehovah of Hosts, and unto the prophets, saying, 'Do I weep in the fifth month — being separated — as I have done these so many years?'
तिनीहरूले सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुका भवनमा भएका पुजारीहरू र अगमवक्ताहरूलाई यस्तो भने, “मैले बितेका वर्षहरूमा गर्आएकोझैँ, के म पाचौँ महिनामा उपवास बसेर विलाप गरूँ?”
4 And there is a word of Jehovah of Hosts unto me, saying:
यसैकारण सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुको यस्तो वचन मकहाँ आयो,
5 'Speak unto all the people of the land, and unto the priests, saying:
“भूमिका सबै मानिसहरू र पुजारीहरूलाई यस्तो भन्, ‘यी सत्तरी वर्षसम्म तिमीहरूले पाचौँ र सातौँ महिनामा उपवास बस्दा र विलाप गर्दा, के तिमीहरू साँच्चै मेरो निम्ति उपवास बसिरहेका थियौ?
6 When ye fasted with mourning in the fifth and in the seventh [months] — even these seventy years — did ye keep the fast [to] Me — Me? And when ye eat, and when ye drink, is it not ye who are eating, and ye who are drinking?
तिमीहरूले खाँदा र पिउँदा, के तिमीहरूले आफ्नै निम्ति खाएनौ र आफ्नै निम्ति पिएनौ?
7 'Are not [these] the words that Jehovah proclaimed by the hand of the former prophets, in Jerusalem's being inhabited, and [in] safety, and its cities round about it, and the south and the plain — abiding?'
तिमीहरू यरूशलेम र आसपासका सहरहरूमा सम्पन्नतामाबसोबास गरिरहँदा र तिमीहरू नेगेव, र पश्चिमका पहाडहरूको फेदमा अवस्थित हुँदा, के अगिल्ला अगमवक्ताहरूका मुखबाट परमप्रभुले घोषणा गर्नुभएका वचन यी नै थिएनन् र?’”
8 And there is a word of Jehovah unto Zechariah, saying:
परमप्रभुको यस्तो वचन जकरियाकहाँआयो,
9 'Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, saying: True judgment judge ye, And kindness and mercy do one with another.
“सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘साँचो न्याय, करारको विश्वसनीयता, र अनुग्रहद्वारा इन्साफ गर । हरेक मानिसले आफ्नो दाजुभाइको निम्ति यस्तो गरोस् ।
10 And widow, and fatherless, Sojourner, and poor, ye do not oppress, And the calamity of one another ye do not devise in your heart.
विधवा र टुहुरा, परदेशी, र गरिब मानिसमाथिअत्याचार नगर, र कसैले पनि आफ्नो हृदयमा अर्काको विरुद्ध खराबीको योजना नबनाओस् ।’
11 And they refuse to attend, And they give a refractory shoulder, And their ears have made heavy against hearing.
तर तिनीहरूले ध्यान दिएनन् र हठी भएर आफ्नो पीठ फर्काए । तिनीहरूले आफ्ना कान थुने र केही पनि सुनेनन् ।
12 And their heart they have made adamant, Against hearing the law, and the words, That Jehovah of Hosts sent by His Spirit, By the hand of the former prophets, And their is great wrath from Jehovah of Hosts.
व्यवस्था वा सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुको वचन नसुन्नको निम्ति तिनीहरूले आफ्ना हृदयलाई चट्टानझैँ कडा बनाए । पहिलेका समयमा, उहाँले यी सन्देशहरू आफ्ना मानिसहरूकहाँ आफ्नो आत्माद्वारा, अगमवक्ताहरूका ओठद्वारा पठाउनुभयो । तर ती मानिसहरूले सुन्न इन्कार गरे, यसैकारण सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु तिनीहरूसँग धेरै रिसाउनुभयो ।
13 And it cometh to pass, as He called, And they have not hearkened, So do they call, and I do not hearken, Said Jehovah of Hosts.
उहाँले बोलाउनुहुँदा, तिनीहरूले सुनेनन् । त्यसरी नै तिनीहरूले मेरो पुकारा गर्नेछन्, तर म त्यो सुन्नेछैनँ,” सेनाहरूका परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
14 And I toss them on all the nations, That they have not known, The land hath been desolate behind them, Of any passing by and turning back, And they set a desirable land for a desolation!
“किनकि म आँधीबेहरीद्वारा तिनीहरूलाई तिनीहरूले नदेखेकाजातिहरूका बिचमा तितर-बितर पार्नेछु, र तिनीहरूपछि त्यो भूमि निर्जन हुनेछ । किनकि कोही पनि त्यो देशबाट भएर जानेछैन न त कोही त्यहाँ फर्कनेछ किनभने मानिसहरूले आफ्नो सुन्दर भूमिलाई उजाड बनाएका छन् ।”
