Zechariah 6
1 And I turn back, and lift up mine eyes, and look, and lo, four chariots are coming forth from between two of the mountains, and the mountains [are] mountains of brass.
Entonces volví a mirar y vi cuatro carruajes que salían de en medio de dos montañas que parecían como de bronce.
2 In the first chariot [are] red horses, and in the second chariot brown horses,
Al primer carruaje lo tiraban caballos rojos, al Segundo caballos negros;
3 and in the third chariot white horses, and in the fourth chariot strong grisled horses.
al tercero, caballos blancos, y al cuarto, caballos grises. Todos eran caballos fuertes.
4 And I answer and say unto the messenger who is speaking with me, 'What [are] these, my lord?'
“¿Qué significa esto, mi señor?” Le pregunté al ángel con el que hablaba.
5 And the messenger answereth and saith unto me, 'These [are] four spirits of the heavens coming forth from presenting themselves before the Lord of the whole earth.
“Ellos van a los cuatro vientos del cielo, después de haberse presentado al Señor de toda la tierra”, explicó el ángel.
6 The brown horses that [are] therein, are coming forth unto the land of the north; and the white have come forth unto their hinder part; and the grisled have come forth unto the land of the south;
El carruaje tirado por caballos blancos fue al norte; el carruaje con caballos blancos, fue en dirección al oeste; y el carruaje que era tirado por caballos grises, se dirigió al sur.
7 and the strong ones have come forth, and they seek to go to walk up and down in the earth;' and he saith, 'Go, walk up and down in the earth;' and they walk up and down in the earth.
Cuando los caballos fuertes salieron, iban dispuestos y presurosos a patrullar la tierra. Y él dijo: “¡Vayan y vigilen la tierra!” Entonces los caballos salieron y empezaron a vigilar la tierra.
8 And he calleth me, and speaketh unto me, saying, 'See, those coming forth unto the land of the north have caused My Spirit to rest in the land of the north.'
Entonces el ángel me llamó, diciéndome: “¡Mira! Los que se fueron al norte han logrado lo que el Señor quería en la tierra del norte”.
9 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
Entonces el Señor me dio otro mensaje:
10 to take of the captivity (who came from Babylon) from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah, 'and thou hast come in — thou, in that day, yea, thou hast come into the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah,
Toma los regalos traídos por Jeldai, Tobías y Jedaías, los exiliados que vuelven de Babilonia, y ve de inmediato a la casa de Josías, hijo de Sofonías.
11 and thou hast taken silver and gold, and hast made a crown, and hast placed on the head of Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest,
Usa la plata y el oro que trajeron, y manda a hacer un corona, y ponla sobre la cabeza del sumo sacerdote Josué, hijo de Josadac.
12 and hast spoken unto him, saying: Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, saying: Lo, a man! A Shoot — [is] his name, And from his place he doth shoot up, And he hath built the temple of Jehovah.
Y dile que esto es lo que dice el Señor: ¡Miren! El hombre que se llama La Rama crecerá de donde viene y construirá el Templo del Señor.
13 Yea, he doth build the temple of Jehovah, And he doth bear away honour, And he hath sat and ruled on His throne, And hath been a priest on His throne, And a counsel of peace is between both.
Él fue quien construyó el Templo del Señor y a él se le dará el honor de gobernar tanto desde el trono real, como desde el trono de sumo sacerdote, y habrá paz y comprensión en sus dos funciones.
14 And the crown is to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.
La corona se mantendrá en el Templo del Señor como un recordatorio de Jeldai, Tobías, Jedaía y Josué el hijo de Sofonías.
15 And the far-off come in, and they have built in the temple of Jehovah, and ye have known that Jehovah of Hosts hath sent me unto you, yea, it hath come to pass, if ye do certainly hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God.'
Los que habitan en tierras lejanas vendrán y construirán el Templo del Señor, y sabrás que el Señor Todopoderoso me ha enviado ante ustedes. Esto ocurrirá si escuchan atentamente lo que el Señor les dice.
