Ruth 2
1 And Naomi hath an acquaintance of her husband's, a man mighty in wealth, of the family of Elimelech, and his name [is] Boaz.
Şi Naomi avea o rudă a soţului ei, un bărbat puternic în bogăţie din familia lui Elimelec, şi numele lui era Boaz.
2 And Ruth the Moabitess saith unto Naomi, 'Let me go, I pray thee, into the field, and I gather among the ears of corn after him in whose eyes I find grace;' and she saith to her, 'Go, my daughter.'
Şi Rut moabita i-a spus lui Naomi: Lasă-mă acum să merg la câmp şi să culeg spice de grâne în urma aceluia în ochii căruia voi găsi har. Iar ea i-a spus: Du-te, fiica mea.
3 And she goeth and cometh and gathereth in a field after the reapers, and her chance happeneth — the portion of the field is Boaz's who [is] of the family of Elimelech.
Şi a mers şi a ajuns şi a cules în câmp după secerători; şi soarta ei a fost să ajungă la o parte a câmpului aparţinând lui Boaz, care era dintre rudele lui Elimelec.
4 And lo, Boaz hath come from Beth-Lehem, and saith to the reapers, 'Jehovah [is] with you;' and they say to him, 'Jehovah doth bless thee.'
Şi, iată, Boaz a venit de la Betleem şi a spus secerătorilor: DOMNUL fie cu voi. Iar ei i-au răspuns: DOMNUL să te binecuvânteze.
5 And Boaz saith to his young man who is set over the reapers, 'Whose [is] this young person?'
Atunci Boaz a spus servitorului său, care a fost pus peste secerători: A cui este tânăra aceasta?
6 And the young man who is set over the reapers answereth and saith, 'A young woman — Moabitess — she [is], who came back with Naomi from the fields of Moab,
Şi servitorul care a fost pus peste secerători a răspuns şi a zis: Aceasta este tânăra moabită care s-a întors cu Naomi din ţara Moabului.
7 and she saith, Let me glean, I pray thee — and I have gathered among the sheaves after the reapers; and she cometh and remaineth since the morning and till now; she sat in the house a little.
Şi ea a spus: Te rog, lasă-mă să culeg şi să adun printre snopi în urma secerătorilor; astfel a venit şi continuă de dimineaţă până acum şi a stat numai puţin în casă.
8 And Boaz saith unto Ruth, 'Hast thou not heard, my daughter? go not to glean in another field, and also, pass not over from this, and thus thou dost cleave to my young women:
Atunci Boaz i-a spus lui Rut: Nu ai auzit fiica mea? Nu merge să culegi în alt câmp, nici nu pleca de aici, ci rămâi aici aproape de servitoarele mele.
9 thine eyes [are] on the field which they reap, and thou hast gone after them; have not I charged the young men not to touch thee? when thou art athirst then thou hast gone unto the vessels, and hast drunk from that which the young men draw.'
Ochii tăi să fie peste câmpul pe care îl seceră, şi urmează-le; nu am poruncit eu tinerilor să nu se atingă de tine? Şi când eşti însetată du-te la vase şi bea din ceea ce au scos tinerii.
10 And she falleth on her face, and boweth herself to the earth, and saith unto him, 'Wherefore have I found grace in thine eyes, to discern me, and I a stranger?'
Atunci ea a căzut cu faţa ei la pământ şi s-a prosternat şi i-a spus: De ce am găsit har în ochii tăi, încât să mă iei în considerare pe mine, o străină?
11 And Boaz answereth and saith to her, 'It hath thoroughly been declared to me all that thou hast done with thy mother-in-law, after the death of thy husband, and thou dost leave thy father, and thy mother, and the land of thy birth, and dost come in unto a people which thou hast not known heretofore.
Şi Boaz a răspuns şi i-a zis: Mi s-a arătat pe deplin, tot ce ai făcut pentru soacra ta de la moartea soţului tău; şi cum ai lăsat pe tatăl tău şi pe mama ta şi ţara naşterii tale şi ai venit la un popor pe care nu l-ai cunoscut până acum.
12 Jehovah doth recompense thy work, and thy reward is complete from Jehovah, God of Israel, under whose wings thou hast come to take refuge.'
DOMNUL să răsplătească lucrul tău şi o răsplată deplină să îţi fie dată de DOMNUL Dumnezeul lui Israel, sub ale cărui aripi ai venit să te încrezi.
13 And she saith, 'Let me find grace in thine eyes, my lord, because thou hast comforted me, and because thou hast spoken unto the heart of thy maid-servant, and I — I am not as one of thy maid-servants.'
Atunci ea a spus: Să capăt favoare în ochii tăi, domnul meu, pentru că m-ai mângâiat și pentru că ai vorbit prietenos roabei tale, cu toate că nu sunt ca una dintre roabele tale.
14 And Boaz saith to her, 'At meal-time come nigh hither, and thou hast eaten of the bread, and dipped thy morsel in the vinegar.' And she sitteth at the side of the reapers, and he reacheth to her roasted corn, and she eateth, and is satisfied, and leaveth.
Şi Boaz i-a spus: La timpul mesei să vii aici şi să mănânci din pâine şi să înmoi bucăţica ta în oţet. Şi ea a şezut lângă secerători; şi el i-a întins grâne prăjite şi ea a mâncat şi s-a săturat şi a plecat.
15 And she riseth to glean, and Boaz chargeth his young men, saying, 'Even between the sheaves she doth glean, and ye do not cause her to blush;
Şi când s-a ridicat să culeagă, Boaz a poruncit tinerilor săi, spunând: Lăsaţi-o să culeagă chiar printre snopi şi nu o ocărâţi!
16 and also ye do surely cast to her of the handfuls — and have left, and she hath gleaned, and ye do not push against her.'
Şi de asemenea lăsaţi să cadă intenţionat câteva din mănunchiuri pentru ea şi lăsaţi-le ca ea să le culeagă şi nu o mustraţi!
17 And she gleaneth in the field till the evening, and beateth out that which she hath gleaned, and it is about an ephah of barley;
Astfel ea a cules în câmp până seara şi a bătut ce a cules; şi a fost cam o efă de orz.
18 and she taketh [it] up, and goeth into the city, and her mother-in-law seeth that which she hath gleaned, and she bringeth out and giveth to her that which she left from her satiety.
Şi l-a ridicat şi a mers în cetate şi soacra ei a văzut ce a cules; şi a adus şi i-a dat ce a pus deoparte după ce s-a săturat.
19 And her mother-in-law saith to her, 'Where hast thou gleaned to-day? and where hast thou wrought? may he who is discerning thee be blessed.' And she declareth to her mother-in-law with whom she hath wrought, and saith, 'The name of the man with whom I have wrought to-day [is] Boaz.'
Şi soacra ei i-a spus: Unde ai cules astăzi? Şi unde ai lucrat? Binecuvântat fie cel care te-a luat în considerare. Şi ea a arătat soacrei sale cu cine a lucrat şi a spus: Numele omului la care am lucrat astăzi este Boaz.
20 And Naomi saith to her daughter-in-law, 'Blessed [is] he of Jehovah who hath not forsaken His kindness with the living and with the dead;' and Naomi saith to her, 'The man is a relation of ours; he [is] of our redeemers.'
Şi Naomi a spus nurorii sale: Binecuvântat fie el de DOMNUL, care nu şi-a oprit bunătatea faţă de cei vii şi faţă de cei morţi. Şi Naomi i-a spus: Acest bărbat ne este rudă apropiată, unul dintre cei care au dreptul răscumpărării noastre.
21 And Ruth the Moabitess saith, 'Also he surely said unto me, Near the young people whom I have thou dost cleave till they have completed the whole of the harvest which I have.'
Şi Rut moabita a spus: El de asemenea mi-a zis: Să te ţii aproape de tinerii mei, până vor fi terminat tot secerişul meu.
22 And Naomi saith unto Ruth her daughter-in-law, 'Good, my daughter, that thou goest out with his young women, and they come not against thee in another field.'
Şi Naomi i-a spus lui Rut, nora sa: Este bine, fiica mea, că ieşi cu tinerele lui, ca alţii să nu te întâlnească într-un alt câmp.
23 And she cleaveth to the young women of Boaz to glean, till the completion of the barley-harvest, and of the wheat-harvest, and she dwelleth with her mother-in-law.
Astfel ea a stat aproape de tinerele lui Boaz să culeagă până la sfârşitul secerişului orzului şi al secerişului grâului; şi a locuit cu soacra ei.
