Romans 2

1 Therefore, thou art inexcusable, O man — every one who is judging — for in that in which thou dost judge the other, thyself thou dost condemn, for the same things thou dost practise who art judging,

၁သူတပါးကို စစ်ကြောစီရင်တတ်သောသူ၊ သင်သည်ကိုယ်အပြစ်ကို မဖုံးနိုင်ရာ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်သည်စစ်ကြောစီရင်သော အမှုကိုပင် ကိုယ်တိုင်ပြုသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သူတပါးကို စစ်ကြောစီရင်သည်တွင် ကိုယ်အပြစ်ရှိကြောင်းကို စီရင်ဆုံးဖြတ်ရာရောက်၏။

2 and we have known that the judgment of God is according to truth, upon those practising such things.

၂ဘုရားသခင်သည် ထိုသို့ပြုသောသူတို့ကို စီရင်တော်မူခြင်း အရာသည် သမ္မာတရားနှင့် ညီသည်ကို ငါတို့သိကြ၏။

3 And dost thou think this, O man, who art judging those who such things are practising, and art doing them, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

၃ထိုသို့သောအမှုကိုကိုယ်တိုင်ပြုလျက်ပင်၊ သူတပါးပြုသည်ကို စစ်ကြောစီရင်သောသူ၊ သင်သည် ဘုရားသခင်စီရင်တော်မူခြင်းနှင့် လွတ်မည်ဟု ထင်မှတ် သလော။

4 or the riches of His goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, dost thou despise? — not knowing that the goodness of God doth lead thee to reformation!

၄ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်သည် သင့်ကို နောင်တလမ်းသို့ သွေးဆောင်သည်ကို မသိမမှတ်ဘဲ၊ ကြွယ်ဝစွာ ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူခြင်း၊ သည်းခံတော်မူခြင်း၊ စိတ်ရှည်တော်မူခြင်းတို့ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသလော။

5 but, according to thy hardness and impenitent heart, thou dost treasure up to thyself wrath, in a day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

၅ထိုသို့ပြုလျှင် စိတ်ခိုင်မာ၍ နောင်တမရသည်နှင့်အညီ ဒေါသနေ့တည်းဟူသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ တရားတော်ထင်ရှားသောနေ့၌ ကိုယ်ခံစရာဘို့ အမျက်ဒေါသကို ဆည်းပူးသလော။

6 who shall render to each according to his works;

၆ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူအသီးသီးတို့အား မိမိတို့ အကျင့်နှင့် အလျောက်အကျိုးအပြစ်ကို ဆပ်ပေးတော် မူလတံ့၊

7 to those, indeed, who in continuance of a good work, do seek glory, and honour, and incorruptibility — life age-during; (aiōnios g166)

၇ကောင်းသောအကျင့်ကို အမြဲကျင့်၍၊ ဘုန်း အသရေကို၎င်း၊ မဖေါက်ပြန်သောဇာတိကို၎င်း၊ ရှာသော သူတို့အား ထာဝရအသက်ကို ပေးတော်မူလတံ့၊ (aiōnios g166)

8 and to those contentious, and disobedient, indeed, to the truth, and obeying the unrighteousness — indignation and wrath,

၈ငြင်းဆန်သောသဘောရှိ၍၊ သမ္မာတရားကို နားမထောင်ဘဲ မတရားသဖြင့် ကျင့်သောသူတို့ကိုကား၊ ပြင်းစွာသော ဒေါသအမျက်ထွက်တော်မူလတံ့၊

9 tribulation and distress, upon every soul of man that is working the evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek;

၉ရှေးဦးစွာ၌ ယုဒလူ၊ နောက်၌ဟေလသလူ၊ ဆိုးညစ်သောအမှုကို ပြုသောသူရှိသမျှတို့သည် ကြီးစွာ သော ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခဝေဒနာကို ခံရကြလတံ့၊

10 and glory, and honour, and peace, to every one who is working the good, both to Jew first, and to Greek.

၁၀ရှေးဦးစွာ၌ယုဒလူ၊ နောက်၌ဟေလသလူ၊ ကောင်းသော အကျင့်ကိုကျင့်သောသူရှိသမျှတို့သည် ဘုန်းအသရေချမ်းသာကို ခံစားရကြလတံ့။

11 For there is no acceptance of faces with God,

၁၁ဘုရားသခင်သည် အဘယ်သူ၏မျက်နှာကို မျှမှတ်တော်မမူ။

12 for as many as without law did sin, without law also shall perish, and as many as did sin in law, through law shall be judged,

၁၂ပညတ်တရားကို မသိဘဲပြစ်မှားသော သူတို့သည် ပညတ်တရားမဲ့ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ပညတ်တရားကို သိလျက်ပင်ပြစ်မှားသော သူတို့သည် ပညတ်တရား၏စီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။

13 for not the hearers of the law [are] righteous before God, but the doers of the law shall be declared righteous: —

၁၃အကြောင်းမူကား၊ တရားနာသောသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့၌ ဖြောင့်မတ်သည်မဟုတ်။ တရားကို ကျင့်သောသူသာလျှင် ဖြောင့်မတ်ရာသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။

14 For, when nations that have not a law, by nature may do the things of the law, these not having a law — to themselves are a law;

၁၄သာသနာပလူတို့သည် ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို မသိဘဲ၊ ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက်တရားတော်ကို ကျင့်သောအခါ၊ သူတို့သည် ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို မသိဘဲ၊ ကိုယ်ကျင့်တရားကို အမှီပြုသဖြင့်၎င်း၊

15 who do shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also witnessing with them, and between one another the thoughts accusing or else defending,

၁၅ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ်သိသောစိတ်နှလုံးသည် သက်သေခံသဖြင့်၎င်း၊ အချင်းချင်းဆွေးနွေးဆင်ခြင်၍ အပြစ်တင်လျက်၊ လွှတ်လျက်နေသဖြင့်၎င်း၊ မိမိတို့စိတ်နှလုံးထဲ၌ မှတ်သားသော တရား၏အကျိုးကို ထင်ရှားစွာ ပြကြ၏။

16 in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men, according to my good news, through Jesus Christ.

၁၆ငါဟောပြောသော ဧဝံဂေလိတရားအတိုင်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ယေရှုခရစ်အားဖြင့် လူတို့၏ မထင်ရှား သော အမှုအရာတို့ကို စစ်ကြော စီရင်တော်မူသောနေ့၌ ထိုသို့စီရင်တော်မူလတံ့။

17 Lo, thou art named a Jew, and dost rest upon the law, and dost boast in God,

၁၇သင်သည် ယုဒလူဟု သမုတ်ခြင်းကို ခံသောသူ၊ ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို ကိုးစားသောသူ၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကို အမှီပြု၍ ဝါကြွားသောသူ၊

18 and dost know the will, and dost approve the distinctions, being instructed out of the law,

၁၈အလိုတော်ကိုသိသောသူ၊ ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို လေ့ကျက်သဖြင့် ခြားနားသောအရာတို့ကို ပိုင်းခြားထား တတ်သောသူဖြစ်သည်နှင့်၊

19 and hast confidence that thou thyself art a leader of blind ones, a light of those in darkness,

၁၉လူကန်းတို့အား လမ်းပြသောသူ၊ မှောင်မိုက်၌ နေသောသူတို့ကို လင်းစေသောသူ၊

20 an instructor of foolish ones, a teacher of babes, having the form of the knowledge and of the truth in the law.

၂၀လူမိုက်တို့ကို ဆုံးမတတ်သောသူ၊ သူငယ်တို့ကို နည်းပေးသောသူ၊ ပညတ်တရားတော်အားဖြင့် ပညာကို ၎င်း၊ သမ္မာတရားကို၎င်းရိပ်မိသောသူဖြစ်သည်ဟူ၍၊ ကိုယ်ကိုထင်မှတ်တတ်သည်မှန်လျှင်၊

21 Thou, then, who art teaching another, thyself dost thou not teach?

၂၁သူတပါးကိုဆုံးမလျက်ပင်ကိုယ်ကို မဆုံးမသလော။ သူ့ဥစ္စာကို မခိုးနှင့်ဟုတရားဟောလျက်ပင် ကိုယ်တိုင်ခိုးသလော။

22 thou who art preaching not to steal, dost thou steal? thou who art saying not to commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou who art abhorring the idols, dost thou rob temples?

၂၂သူ့မယားကို မပြစ်မှားနှင့်ဟုဆိုလျက်ပင် ကိုယ်တိုင်ပြစ်မှားသလော။ ရုပ်တုကိုစက်ဆုပ်ရွံ့ရှာလျက် ပင် ဗိမာန်တော်ကို လုယူဖျက်ဆီးသလော။

23 thou who in the law dost boast, through the transgression of the law God dost thou dishonour?

၂၃ပညတ်တရားတော်ကိုအမှီပြု၍ ဝါကြွားလျက်ပင် ထိုတရားကို လွန်ကျူး၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဂုဏ် အသရေတော်ကို ရှုတ်ချသလော။

24 for the name of God because of you is evil spoken of among the nations, according as it hath been written.

၂၄အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ကျမ်းစာ၌ လာသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် သင်တို့အကျင့်ကို ထောက်၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏နာမတော်ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့တတ်ကြ၏။

25 For circumcision, indeed, doth profit, if law thou mayest practise, but if a transgressor of law thou mayest be, thy circumcision hath become uncircumcision.

၂၅သင်သည်ပညတ်တရားကို ကျင့်လျှင်၊ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းအားဖြင့် အကျိုးရှိ၏။ ပညတ်တရားကို လွန်ကျူးလျှင်၊ သင်၏အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းသည် အရေဖျား မလှီးဘဲဖြစ်ပြန်၏။

26 If, therefore the uncircumcision the righteousness of the law may keep, shall not his uncircumcision for circumcision be reckoned?

၂၆ထိုမှတပါး၊ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောသူ သည်တရား၌ ပါသောပညတ်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်လျှင်၊ ထိုသူ၏အရေဖျားမလှီးဘဲ အဖြစ်ကို အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်း အဖြစ်ကဲ့သို့ မှတ်ရသည်မဟုတ်လော။

27 and the uncircumcision, by nature, fulfilling the law, shall judge thee who, through letter and circumcision, [art] a transgressor of law.

၂၇အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောသူသည်လည်း ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက်ပညတ်တရားကို ကျင့်လျှင်၊ ကျမ်းစာနှင့်အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းရှိလျက်ပင် ပညတ်တရားကို လွန်ကျူးသောသင်ကို တရားတွေ့၍ အရှုံးခံစေမည် မဟုတ်လော။

28 For he is not a Jew who is [so] outwardly, neither [is] circumcision that which is outward in flesh;

၂၈အကြောင်းမူကား၊ အပြင်အားဖြင့်သာ ယုဒလူဖြစ်သောသူသည် ယုဒလူမှန်မဟုတ်။ အပြင်အားဖြင့်သာ ကိုယ်အသား အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းသည် အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်း အမှန် မဟုတ်။

29 but a Jew [is] he who is [so] inwardly, and circumcision [is] of the heart, in spirit, not in letter, of which the praise is not of men, but of God.

၂၉အတွင်းအားဖြင့် ယုဒလူဖြစ်သောသူသည် ယုဒလူမှန်၏။ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းလည်း ကျမ်းဟောင်း တရားအားဖြင့်မဟုတ်ဘဲ၊ ဝိညာဉ်တော်တရားအားဖြင့် စိတ်နှလုံးနှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်၏။ ထိုသို့အရေးဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို ခံသောသူ၏အချီးအမွမ်းသည် လူအလိုနှင့်မဆိုင်၊ ဘုရားသခင့်အလိုတော်နှင့်ဆိုင်သတည်း။
