< Revelation 18 >
1 And after these things I saw another messenger coming down out of the heaven, having great authority, and the earth was lightened from his glory,
Kalpasan dagitoy a banbanag, adda nakitak a sabali pay nga anghel a bumabbaba manipud langit. Addaan isuna iti naindaklan a turay, ken ti daga ket nasilawan iti dayagna.
2 and he did cry in might — a great voice, saying, 'Fall, fall did Babylon the great, and she became a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird,
Ipukpukawna iti napigsa a timek, kunana “Natinnagen, natinnagen ti naindaklan a Babilonia! Nagbalinen isuna a pagtaengan dagiti demonio ken dagiti narugit nga espiritu, ken pagtaengan dagiti agkakarugit ken makarimon a billit.
3 because of the wine of the wrath of her whoredom have all the nations drunk, and the kings of the earth with her did commit whoredom, and merchants of the earth from the power of her revel were made rich.
Ta amin dagiti pagilian ket ininumda ti arak ti regget ti kinaderrepna a mangiyeg iti pungtotna. Dagiti ari iti daga ket nakikammalala kenkuana. Dagiti agtagtagilako ditoy daga ket nagbalin a nabaknang babaen iti bileg ti nabarayuboy a panagbiagna.
4 And I heard another voice out of the heaven, saying, 'Come forth out of her, My people, that ye may not partake with her sins, and that ye may not receive of her plagues,
Kalpasanna, nakangngegak iti sabali pay a timek manipud langit a kinunana, “Rummuarkayo manipud kenkuana, tattaok, tapno saankayo a mairaman kadagiti basbasolna, ken tapno saankayo nga agsagaba iti aniaman kadagiti didigrana.
5 because her sins did follow — unto the heaven, and God did remember her unrighteousness.
Dagiti basolna ket nagtutuonen a kas kangato iti langit, ken nalagip ti Dios dagiti dakes nga aramidna.
6 Render to her as also she did render to you, and double to her doubles according to her works; in the cup that she did mingle mingle to her double.
Subadanyo isuna a kas iti panangsubadna kadagiti dadduma, ken subadanyo isuna iti mamindua a daras iti aniaman nga inaramidna; nayunanyo ti pinaglalaokna nga adda iti baso, nayunanyo iti mamindua a sukat para kenkuana.
7 'As much as she did glorify herself and did revel, so much torment and sorrow give to her, because in her heart she saith, I sit a queen, and a widow I am not, and sorrow I shall not see;
No kasano nga impasindayagna ti bagina ken nagbiag iti kinabarayuboy, ipaayyo kenkuana ti kasta metlaeng a rigat ken ladingit. Ta ti ibagbagana iti pusona, nakatugawak a kasla reyna, saanak a balo, ken saankonto a makita ti panagladingit.
8 because of this, in one day, shall come her plagues, death, and sorrow, and famine; and in fire she shall be utterly burned, because strong [is] the Lord God who is judging her;
Ngarud iti maysanto nga aldaw ket un-unaanto isuna iti didigra: ti patay, ladingit ken panagbisin. Ibusento isuna ti apoy, ta ti Dios ket manakabalin ken isu ti mangukom kenkuana.”
9 and weep over her, and smite themselves for her, shall the kings of the earth, who with her did commit whoredom and did revel, when they may see the smoke of her burning,
Dagiti ari iti daga a nakikamalala ken nagpatengngel kenkuana ket sangitan ken dung-awandanto isuna no makitada ti asok gapu iti pannakapuorna.
10 from afar having stood because of the fear of her torment, saying, Woe, woe, the great city! Babylon, the strong city! because in one hour did come thy judgment.
Agtakderdanto iti adayo, mabutbutengda iti pannakaparigatna, kunada, “Asi, asi pay ti naindaklan a siudad ti Babilonia, ti kapipigsaan a siudad! Ta iti maysa nga oras ket immay ti pannakadusam.”
11 'And the merchants of the earth shall weep and sorrow over her, because their lading no one doth buy any more;
Sangsangitan ken dungdung-awan isuna dagiti agtagtagilako ditoy daga, agsipud ta awanen ti mayat a gumatang kadagiti ilaklakona.
12 lading of gold, and silver, and precious stone, and pearl, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and every vessel of ivory, and every vessel of most precious wood, and brass, and iron, and marble,
laklako a balitok, pirak, agkakapateg a bato, perlas, napino a lino, lila, amin a nagbabanglo a kayo, tunggal alikamen a naaramid iti marfil, tunggal alikamen a naaramid iti agkakapateg a kayo, bronse, landok, marmol,
13 and cinnamon, and odours, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and of horses, and of chariots, and of bodies and souls of men.
kanela, rekado, insenso, mirra, olibano, arak, lana, napino nga arina, trigo, kadagiti baka ken karnero, kadagiti kabalio ken karwahe, ken kadagiti tagabu ken dagiti kararua dagiti tattao.
14 'And the fruits of the desire of thy soul did go away from thee, and all things — the dainty and the bright — did go away from thee, and no more at all mayest thou find them.
Dagiti bunga a tinartarigagayanyo iti amin a pigsayo ket awanen kadakayo. Amin a kinabarayuboy ken dayagyo ket nagpukaw, pulos a saanto a masarakanen.
15 The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, far off shall stand because of the fear of her torment, weeping, and sorrowing,
Dagiti agtagtagilako kadagitoy a lako a nagbalin a nabaknang babaen kenkuana ket agtakderdanto nga adayo kenkuana gapu ta mabutengda iti panakadusa, panagsangit ken naariwawa a panagdung-awna.
16 and saying, Woe, woe, the great city, that was arrayed with fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and gilded in gold, and precious stone, and pearls — because in one hour so much riches were made waste!
Ibagadanto nga, “Asi pay, asi pay ti naindaklan a siudad a nakakawes iti napino a lino, lila, ken iti nalabaga, ken naarkosan ti balitok, agkakapateg a bato, ken kadagiti perlas!”
17 'And every shipmaster, and all the company upon the ships, and sailors, and as many as work the sea, far off stood,
Iti las-ud laeng ti maysa nga oras amin dagita a kinabaknang ket nasayang. Tumunggal maysa a kapitan ti barko ken tunggal tripulante, dagiti aglaylayag iti taaw ken amin dagiti aggapu iti taw ti pagbibiaganna, ket nagtakder iti adayo.
18 and were crying, seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, What [city is] like to the great city?
Nagsangitda idi nakitada ti asukna gapu iti pannakapuorna. Kinunada, “Ania a siudad ti kas iti dayta a naindaklan a siudad?”
19 and they did cast dust upon their heads, and were crying out, weeping and sorrowing, saying, Woe, woe, the great city! in which were made rich all having ships in the sea, out of her costliness — for in one hour was she made waste.
Sinabuaganda iti tapok dagiti uloda ken nagsasangit ken nagdudung-awda, “Asi pay, asi pay dayta a naindaklan a siudad, nga amin nga adda barkona iti taaw ket nagbalin a nabaknang gapu iti kinabaknangna. Ta iti las-ud laeng ti maysa nga oras ket nadadael isuna.”
20 'Be glad over her, O heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets, because God did judge your judgment of her!'
“Agragsakkayo iti napasamak kenkuana, langit, dakayo a namati, dakayo nga apostol ken profeta, ta inyeg ti Dios ti panangukomyo kenkuana!”
21 And one strong messenger did take up a stone as a great millstone, and did cast [it] to the sea, saying, 'Thus with violence shall Babylon be cast, the great city, and may not be found any more at all;
Nangala ti nabileg nga anghel iti bato a kas kadakkel iti gilingan a bato ket impurwakna iti taaw, kinunana, “Iti daytoy a wagas, ti Babilonia a naindaklan a siudad, ket madadaelto ken saanton a makita iti kaanoman.
22 and voice of harpers, and musicians, and pipers, and trumpeters, may not be heard at all in thee any more; and any artisan of any art may not be found at all in thee any more; and noise of a millstone may not be heard at all in thee any more;
Saanton a mangngeg ti uni a partuaten dagiti umaarpa, dagiti tumotokar, dagiti agpuypuyot iti fluta. Awanton ti masarakan kenka a managpartuat iti aniaman a kita. Ken awanton ti mangngeg nga uni iti gilingan kenka.
23 and light of a lamp may not shine at all in thee any more; and voice of bridegroom and of bride may not be heard at all in thee any more; because thy merchants were the great ones of the earth, because in thy sorcery were all the nations led astray,
Awanton a pulos ti agraniag nga uray ania a pagsilawan kenka. Awanton a pulos ti mangngeg a timek iti nobyo ken iti nobya kenka, ta dagiti agtagtagilakom ket isuda dagiti prinsipe iti daga, ken ti pagilian ket naalilaw babaen kadagiti panagsalamangkam.
24 and in her blood of prophets and of saints was found, and of all those who have been slain on the earth.'
Nasarakan kenkuana ti dara dagiti profeta ken dagiti namati, ken amin a dara dagiti napapatay iti daga.”
