Revelation 14
1 And I saw, and lo, a Lamb having stood upon the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty-four thousands, having the name of his Father written upon their foreheads;
Eu olhei e vi o Cordeiro em pé no monte Sião. Com ele havia cento e quarenta e quatro mil pessoas que tinham o nome dele e o nome do seu Pai escritos em suas testas.
2 and I heard a voice out of the heaven, as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of great thunder, and a voice I heard of harpers harping with their harps,
Eu ouvi uma voz vinda do céu, que parecia o som de uma cachoeira, de trovões e de muitas harpas sendo tocadas.
3 and they sing, as it were, a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders, and no one was able to learn the song except the hundred forty-four thousands, who have been bought from the earth;
Eles cantavam uma música nova diante do trono, diante dos quatro seres viventes e dos anciãos. Ninguém poderia aprender a música, a não ser os cento e quarenta e quatro mil, que tinham sido resgatados da terra.
4 these are they who with women were not defiled, for they are virgin; these are they who are following the Lamb whithersoever he may go; these were bought from among men — a first-fruit to God and to the Lamb —
Eles eram moralmente puros, porque não se contaminaram com mulheres. Espiritualmente, ainda são virgens. Eles seguem o Cordeiro para onde quer que ele vá. Foram resgatados da raça humana como os primeiros frutos para Deus e para o Cordeiro.
5 and in their mouth there was not found guile, for unblemished are they before the throne of God.
Eles não dizem mentiras; não têm falha alguma.
6 And I saw another messenger flying in mid-heaven, having good news age-during to proclaim to those dwelling upon the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people, (aiōnios g166)
E, então, eu vi outro anjo voando no meio do céu. Ele tinha as boas novas eternas para anunciar para aqueles que vivem na terra, para todas as nações, tribos, línguas e povos. (aiōnios g166)
7 saying in a great voice, 'Fear ye God, and give to Him glory, because come did the hour of His judgment, and bow ye before Him who did make the heaven, and the land, and sea, and fountains of waters.'
Ele disse bem alto: “Ofereçam a Deus todo o respeito e a glória, pois chegou o tempo dele julgar a todos. Adorem aquele que fez o céu, a terra, o mar e as fontes das águas.”
8 And another messenger did follow, saying, 'Fall, fall, did Babylon, the great city, because of the wine of the wrath of her whoredom she hath given to all nations to drink.'
Um segundo anjo seguiu o primeiro, dizendo: “Babilônia, a grandiosa, virou ruínas! Ela fez com que todas as nações bebessem o vinho de sua imoralidade, o que trouxe a oposição furiosa de Deus.”
9 And a third messenger did follow them, saying in a great voice, 'If any one the beast doth bow before, and his image, and doth receive a mark upon his forehead, or upon his hand,
Um terceiro anjo seguiu os dois primeiros e gritou com uma voz bem alta: “Aqueles que adorarem o monstro e a sua imagem e receberem um sinal em sua testa ou em sua mão
10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, that hath been mingled unmixed in the cup of His anger, and he shall be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy messengers, and before the Lamb,
também beberão do vinho da oposição furiosa de Deus, que é servido puro no cálice da sua fúria, e eles serão atormentados no fogo e no enxofre ardente diante dos anjos santos e do Cordeiro.
11 and the smoke of their torment doth go up to ages of ages; and they have no rest day and night, who are bowing before the beast and his image, also if any doth receive the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)
A fumaça que vem do fogo que os atormenta sobe para todo o sempre. Aqueles que adoram o monstro e a sua imagem e que recebem o sinal do seu nome não têm alívio nem de dia e nem de noite.” (aiōn g165)
12 Here is endurance of the saints: here [are] those keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus.'
Isso significa que os que creem devem persistir com paciência, seguindo os mandamentos de Deus e mantendo a sua fé em Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, 'Write: Happy are the dead who in the Lord are dying from this time!' 'Yes, (saith the Spirit, ) That they may rest from their labours — and their works do follow them!'
E, então, ouvi uma voz vinda do céu, que me disse: “Escreva isto: Abençoados são aqueles que, a partir de hoje, morrem por servirem ao Senhor. Sim, diz o Espírito, pois eles podem descansar das suas aflições. Os resultados do trabalho que fizeram, enquanto vivos, falarão por eles.”
14 And I saw, and lo, a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sitting like to a son of man, having upon his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle;
Eu olhei e vi uma nuvem branca. Sentado na nuvem estava uma pessoa que se parecia com o Filho de um homem, usando uma coroa de ouro na cabeça e segurando uma foice afiada em sua mão.
15 and another messenger did come forth out of the sanctuary crying in a great voice to him who is sitting upon the cloud, 'Send forth thy sickle and reap, because come to thee hath the hour of reaping, because ripe hath been the harvest of the earth;'
Outro anjo saiu do Templo e gritou bem alto para aquele que estava sentado na nuvem: “Pegue a sua foice e comece a colher, pois já está no tempo da colheita, e a terra está madura.”
16 and he who is sitting upon the cloud did put forth his sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped.
O que estava sentado na nuvem inclinou a sua foice em direção à terra e fez a colheita.
17 And another messenger did come forth out of the sanctuary that [is] in the heaven, having — he also — a sharp sickle,
Outro anjo saiu do Templo celestial. Ele também tinha uma foice afiada.
18 and another messenger did come forth out from the altar, having authority over the fire, and he called with a great cry to him having the sharp sickle, saying, 'Send forth thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, because come to perfection have her grapes;'
Ele foi seguido por um anjo, vindo do altar e que era responsável pelo fogo, que chamou em voz alta o anjo com a foice: “Pegue a sua foice afiada e colha as uvas das videiras da terra, pois as uvas já estão maduras.”
19 and the messenger did put forth his sickle to the earth, and did gather the vine of the earth, and did cast [it] to the great wine-press of the wrath of God;
O anjo inclinou a sua foice em direção à terra e colheu as uvas das videiras e as jogou no grande tanque do julgamento de Deus.
20 and trodden was the wine-press outside of the city, and blood did come forth out of the wine-press — unto the bridles of the horses, a thousand, six hundred furlongs.
E, assim, as uvas foram pisadas no tanque que havia fora da cidade. O sangue que saiu do tanque chegou à altura de onde fica o freio em um cavalo e a uma distância de 1.600 stadia.
