Revelation 14
1 And I saw, and lo, a Lamb having stood upon the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty-four thousands, having the name of his Father written upon their foreheads;
তারপর আমি তাকিয়ে দেখলাম, আমার সামনে সিয়োন পর্বতের উপরে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন সেই মেষশাবক ও তাঁর সঙ্গে ছিল সেই 1,44,000 জন মানুষ, যাদের কপালে তাঁর নাম ও তাঁর পিতার নাম লেখা ছিল।
2 and I heard a voice out of the heaven, as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of great thunder, and a voice I heard of harpers harping with their harps,
আর আমি স্বর্গ থেকে প্রবহমান মহা জলস্রোতের মতো গর্জন ও বজ্রপাতের মতো শব্দ শুনতে পেলাম। যে শব্দ আমি শুনলাম, মনে হল যেন কোনো বীণাবাদকের দল তাদের বীণা বাজাচ্ছে।
3 and they sing, as it were, a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders, and no one was able to learn the song except the hundred forty-four thousands, who have been bought from the earth;
আর তাঁরা সেই সিংহাসনের সামনে এবং চারজন সজীব প্রাণীর ও প্রাচীনদের সামনে এক নতুন গীত গাইলেন। পৃথিবী থেকে মুক্ত করা সেই 1,44,000 জন ব্যক্তি ছাড়া আর কেউই সেই গান শিখতে পারল না।
4 these are they who with women were not defiled, for they are virgin; these are they who are following the Lamb whithersoever he may go; these were bought from among men — a first-fruit to God and to the Lamb —
এঁরা তাঁরাই, যাঁরা নারী-সংসর্গে নিজেদের কলুষিত করেননি, কারণ তাঁরা নিজেদের শুচিশুদ্ধ রেখেছিলেন। মেষশাবক যেখানেই যান, তাঁরা তাঁকে অনুসরণ করেন। তাঁদের মানুষদের মধ্য থেকে কিনে নেওয়া হয়েছিল এবং ঈশ্বর ও সেই মেষশাবকের উদ্দেশে প্রথম ফসলরূপে তাঁদের নিবেদন করা হয়েছিল।
5 and in their mouth there was not found guile, for unblemished are they before the throne of God.
তাঁদের মুখে কোনও মিথ্যা কথা পাওয়া যায়নি, তাঁরা ছিলেন নিষ্কলঙ্ক।
6 And I saw another messenger flying in mid-heaven, having good news age-during to proclaim to those dwelling upon the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people, (aiōnios g166)
এরপর আমি অন্য এক স্বর্গদূতকে মধ্যাকাশে উড়ে যেতে দেখলাম। তাঁর কাছে ছিল অনন্তকালীন সুসমাচার, যেন তিনি প্রত্যেক দেশ, গোষ্ঠী, ভাষাভাষী, জাতির, পৃথিবীর সমস্ত অধিবাসীর কাছে তা ঘোষণা করেন। (aiōnios g166)
7 saying in a great voice, 'Fear ye God, and give to Him glory, because come did the hour of His judgment, and bow ye before Him who did make the heaven, and the land, and sea, and fountains of waters.'
তিনি উচ্চকণ্ঠে বললেন, “ঈশ্বরকে ভয় করো ও তাঁকে সম্মান দাও, কারণ তাঁর বিচারের সময় এসে উপস্থিত হয়েছে। যিনি স্বর্গ, পৃথিবী, সমুদ্র ও জলের সব উৎস উৎপন্ন করেছেন, তাঁর উপাসনা করো।”
8 And another messenger did follow, saying, 'Fall, fall, did Babylon, the great city, because of the wine of the wrath of her whoredom she hath given to all nations to drink.'
দ্বিতীয় এক স্বর্গদূত তাঁকে অনুসরণ করে এসে বললেন, “পতন হল! বিশাল সেই ব্যাবিলনের পতন হল, যে তার ব্যভিচারের উন্মত্তকারী সুরা সমস্ত জাতিকে পান করিয়েছে।”
9 And a third messenger did follow them, saying in a great voice, 'If any one the beast doth bow before, and his image, and doth receive a mark upon his forehead, or upon his hand,
তৃতীয় এক স্বর্গদূত তাঁদের অনুসরণ করে এসে উচ্চকণ্ঠে বললেন: “যদি কেউ সেই পশুর ও তার মূর্তির পূজা করে এবং কপালে বা হাতে তার চিহ্ন গ্রহণ করে,
10 he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, that hath been mingled unmixed in the cup of His anger, and he shall be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy messengers, and before the Lamb,
সেও ঈশ্বরের রোষের সুরা অবশ্যই পান করবে, যা ঈশ্বরের ক্রোধের পানপাত্রে পূর্ণ শক্তির সঙ্গে ঢেলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সে পবিত্র দূতদের ও মেষশাবকের সাক্ষাতে জ্বলন্ত আগুন ও গন্ধকে যন্ত্রণা পাবে।
11 and the smoke of their torment doth go up to ages of ages; and they have no rest day and night, who are bowing before the beast and his image, also if any doth receive the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)
আর তাদের যন্ত্রণাভোগের ধোঁয়া যুগে যুগে চিরকাল উঠতে থাকবে। যারা সেই পশু ও তার মূর্তিকে পূজা করে, বা যে কেউ তার নামের চিহ্ন গ্রহণ করে, দিনরাত কখনও সে বিশ্রাম পাবে না।” (aiōn g165)
12 Here is endurance of the saints: here [are] those keeping the commands of God, and the faith of Jesus.'
পবিত্রগণ যারা ঈশ্বরের আদেশ পালন করে ও যীশুর কাছে বিশ্বস্ত থাকে, এখানেই তাদের ধৈর্যশীল সহিষ্ণুতার পরীক্ষা হবে।
13 And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, 'Write: Happy are the dead who in the Lord are dying from this time!' 'Yes, (saith the Spirit, ) That they may rest from their labours — and their works do follow them!'
তখন আমি স্বর্গ থেকে এই কণ্ঠস্বর শুনতে পেলাম, “তুমি লেখো: ধন্য সেই মৃতজনেরা, যারা এখন থেকে প্রভুতে মৃত্যুবরণ করবে।” পবিত্র আত্মা বলছেন, “হ্যাঁ, তারা তাদের শ্রম থেকে বিশ্রাম পাবে, কারণ তাদের সব কাজ তাদের অনুসরণ করবে।”
14 And I saw, and lo, a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sitting like to a son of man, having upon his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle;
আমি তাকিয়ে দেখলাম, আমার সামনে ছিল এক সাদা রংয়ের মেঘ। সেই মেঘের উপরে “মনুষ্যপুত্রের মতো” একজনকে উপবিষ্ট দেখলাম, যাঁর মাথায় ছিল সোনার মুকুট ও হাতে ছিল এক ধারালো কাস্তে।
15 and another messenger did come forth out of the sanctuary crying in a great voice to him who is sitting upon the cloud, 'Send forth thy sickle and reap, because come to thee hath the hour of reaping, because ripe hath been the harvest of the earth;'
তারপর মন্দির থেকে অন্য এক স্বর্গদূত বের হয়ে, যিনি মেঘের উপরে উপবিষ্ট ছিলেন, তাঁকে উচ্চকণ্ঠে বললেন, “আপনার কাস্তে নিন ও শস্য কাটুন, কারণ শস্য কাটার সময় উপস্থিত হয়েছে, কারণ পৃথিবীর শস্য পরিপক্ব হয়েছে।”
16 and he who is sitting upon the cloud did put forth his sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped.
তাই যিনি মেঘের উপরে উপবিষ্ট তিনি পৃথিবীর উপরে তাঁর কাস্তে চালালেন, আর পৃথিবীর শস্য কাটা হল।
17 And another messenger did come forth out of the sanctuary that [is] in the heaven, having — he also — a sharp sickle,
স্বর্গের মন্দির থেকে আর একজন স্বর্গদূত বেরিয়ে এলেন, তাঁর কাছেও ছিল ধারালো এক কাস্তে।
18 and another messenger did come forth out from the altar, having authority over the fire, and he called with a great cry to him having the sharp sickle, saying, 'Send forth thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, because come to perfection have her grapes;'
আরও একজন স্বর্গদূত বেদি থেকে বেরিয়ে এলেন। আগুনের উপরে তাঁর কর্তৃত্ব করার ক্ষমতা ছিল। যাঁর কাছে ধারালো কাস্তে ছিল, তিনি তাঁকে উচ্চকণ্ঠে ডেকে বললেন, “আপনার ধারালো কাস্তে নিন ও পৃথিবীর দ্রাক্ষালতার গুচ্ছ সংগ্রহ করুন, কারণ তার দ্রাক্ষা পরিপক্ব হয়েছে।”
19 and the messenger did put forth his sickle to the earth, and did gather the vine of the earth, and did cast [it] to the great wine-press of the wrath of God;
সেই স্বর্গদূত পৃথিবীতে তাঁর কাস্তে চালালেন, তাঁর দ্রাক্ষাগুচ্ছ সংগ্রহ করলেন ও সেগুলি ঈশ্বরের ক্রোধের বিশাল দ্রাক্ষাকুণ্ডে নিক্ষেপ করলেন।
20 and trodden was the wine-press outside of the city, and blood did come forth out of the wine-press — unto the bridles of the horses, a thousand, six hundred furlongs.
সেগুলি নগরের বাইরে দ্রাক্ষাকুণ্ডে পদদলিত করা হল এবং কুণ্ড থেকে রক্তস্রোত প্রবাহিত হল। তা 300 কিলোমিটার পর্যন্ত প্রবাহিত হল ও ঘোড়ার বলগা পর্যন্ত উঠল।
