< Psalms 95 >
1 Come, we sing to Jehovah, We shout to the rock of our salvation.
Mujje tuyimbire Mukama; tuyimbire waggulu n’essanyu nga tutendereza Mukama Olwazi olw’obulokozi bwaffe.
2 We come before His face with thanksgiving, With psalms we shout to Him.
Tujje mu maaso ge n’okwebaza; tumuyimbire ennyimba ez’okumutendereza.
3 For a great God [is] Jehovah, And a great king over all gods.
Kubanga Mukama ye Katonda Omukulu; era Kabaka Omukulu asinga bakatonda bonna.
4 In whose hand [are] the deep places of earth, And the strong places of hills [are] His.
Enkonko ez’ensi ziri mu mukono gwe; n’entikko z’ensozi nazo zize.
5 Whose is the sea, and He made it, And His hands formed the dry land.
Ennyanja yiye, kubanga ye yagikola; n’emikono gye, gye gyabumba olukalu.
6 Come in, we bow ourselves, and we bend, We kneel before Jehovah our Maker.
Mujje tusinze tuvuuname mu maaso ge; tufukamire mu maaso ga Mukama, Omutonzi waffe.
7 For He [is] our God, and we the people of His pasture, And the flock of His hand, To-day, if to His voice ye hearken,
Kubanga ye Katonda waffe, naffe tuli bantu ab’omu ddundiro lye, era tuli ndiga ze z’alabirira. Olwa leero bwe muwulira eddoboozi lye,
8 Harden not your heart as [in] Meribah, As [in] the day of Massah in the wilderness,
“Temukakanyaza mitima gyammwe nga bwe kyali e Meriba, ne ku lunaku luli e Maasa mu ddungu;
9 Where your fathers have tried Me, Have proved Me, yea, have seen My work.
bajjajjammwe gye bangezesa; newaakubadde baali baalaba dda ebyamagero bye nakola.
10 Forty years I am weary of the generation, And I say, 'A people erring in heart — they! And they have not known My ways:'
Abantu b’omulembe ogwo ne mbasunguwalira okumala emyaka amakumi ana; ne ŋŋamba nti, ‘Be bantu abakyama mu mutima gwabwe, era tebamanyi makubo gange.’
11 Where I sware in Mine anger, 'If they come in unto My rest —!'
Kyennava ndayira nga nsunguwadde nti, ‘Tebaliyingira mu kiwummulo kyange.’”
