Psalms 92
1 A Psalm. — A Song for the sabbath-day. Good to give thanks to Jehovah, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High,
ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിനുള്ള ഒരു ഗീതം; ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നതും അത്യുന്നതനേ, അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിന് പത്തുകമ്പിയുള്ള വീണയുടെയും കിന്നരത്തിന്റെ മധുരനാദത്തിന്റെയും അകമ്പടിയോടെ സംഗീതമാലപിക്കുന്നതും
2 To declare in the morning Thy kindness, And Thy faithfulness in the nights.
3 On ten strings and on psaltery, On (higgaion) with harp.
പ്രഭാതത്തിൽ അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും രാത്രിയിൽ അവിടത്തെ വിശ്വസ്തതയും വർണിക്കുന്നതും വിശിഷ്ടമത്രേ.
4 For Thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Jehovah, in Thy work, Concerning the works of Thy hands I sing.
യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ആനന്ദിപ്പിക്കുന്നല്ലോ; തിരുക്കരങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ ആനന്ദഗീതം ആലപിക്കും.
5 How great have been Thy works, O Jehovah, Very deep have been Thy thoughts.
യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ എത്രയോ ഉന്നതം അവിടത്തെ ചിന്താഗതികൾ എത്രയോ ഗഹനം!
6 A brutish man doth not know, And a fool understandeth not this; —
വിവേകഹീനനായ മനുഷ്യൻ അത് അറിയുന്നില്ല, ഭോഷർ അതു ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല,
7 When the wicked flourish as a herb, And blossom do all workers of iniquity — For their being destroyed for ever and ever!
ദുഷ്ടർ പുല്ലുപോലെ തഴച്ചുവളരുന്നതും അധർമികൾ അഭിവൃദ്ധിപ്രാപിക്കുന്നതും, എന്നേക്കും നശിച്ചുപോകേണ്ടതിനുതന്നെ.
8 And Thou [art] high to the age, O Jehovah.
എന്നാൽ യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് എന്നേക്കും ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 For, lo, Thine enemies, O Jehovah, For, lo, Thine enemies, do perish, Separate themselves do all workers of iniquity.
യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ, അതേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നശിച്ചുപോകും, നിശ്ചയം; എല്ലാ അധർമികളും ചിതറിക്കപ്പെടും.
10 And Thou exaltest as a reem my horn, I have been anointed with fresh oil.
എന്നാൽ അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ കൊമ്പ് കാട്ടുകാളയുടെ കൊമ്പുപോലെ ഉയർത്തി; പുതിയ തൈലം എന്റെമേൽ ഒഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
11 And mine eye looketh on mine enemies, Of those rising up against me, The evil doers, do mine ears hear.
എന്റെ കണ്ണ് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ പതനം കണ്ടു; എന്റെ കാത് ദുഷ്ടരായ എന്റെ എതിരാളികളുടെ പരാജയം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
12 The righteous as a palm-tree flourisheth, As a cedar in Lebanon he groweth.
നീതിനിഷ്ഠർ ഒരു പനപോലെ തഴച്ചുവളരുന്നു, അവർ ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുപോലെ വളരും;
13 Those planted in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of our God do flourish.
അവരെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയാങ്കണത്തിൽ അവർ തഴച്ചുവളരും.
14 Still they bring forth in old age, Fat and flourishing are they,
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വാർധക്യത്തിലും ഫലം കായ്ച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും, അവർ നിത്യനൂതനരും നിത്യഹരിതരും ആയിരിക്കും,
15 To declare that upright [is] Jehovah my rock, And there is no perverseness in Him!
“യഹോവ നീതിനിഷ്ഠനാകുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് ആകുന്നു എന്റെ പാറ, അനീതി അങ്ങയിൽ ലവലേശവുമില്ല!” എന്ന് അവർ ഘോഷിക്കും.
