Psalms 84
1 To the Overseer. — 'On the Gittith By sons of Korah.' — A Psalm. How beloved Thy tabernacles, Jehovah of Hosts!
সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। স্বর, গিত্তীৎ। কোরহ বংশের সন্তানদের একটি গীত। হে সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু, তোমার আবাস কত মনোরম!
2 My soul desired, yea, it hath also been consumed, For the courts of Jehovah, My heart and my flesh cry aloud unto the living God,
আমার প্রাণ সদাপ্রভুর প্রাঙ্গণের জন্য আকুল হয়, এমনকি মূর্চ্ছিতপ্রায় হয়; জীবন্ত ঈশ্বরের জন্য আমার হৃদয় আর আমার দেহ কেঁদে ওঠে।
3 (Even a sparrow hath found a house, And a swallow a nest for herself, Where she hath placed her brood, ) Thine altars, O Jehovah of Hosts, My king and my God.
এমনকি চড়ুইপাখিও আশ্রয় খুঁজে পেয়েছে, দোয়েল নিজের জন্য বাসা পেয়েছে, যেখানে সে তার শাবকদের জন্ম দিতে পারে— এমন স্থান, যা তোমার বেদির নিকটে, হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার রাজা, আমার ঈশ্বর।
4 O the happiness of those inhabiting Thy house, Yet do they praise Thee. (Selah)
ধন্য সেই ব্যক্তি, যে তোমার গৃহে বসবাস করে, সে সর্বক্ষণ তোমার গুণকীর্তন করে।
5 O the happiness of a man whose strength is in Thee, Highways [are] in their heart.
ধন্য সেই ব্যক্তি, যার শক্তি সদাপ্রভু থেকে আসে, যে সদাপ্রভুর গৃহে যাওয়ার জন্য তার হৃদয় স্থির রেখেছে।
6 Those passing through a valley of weeping, A fountain do make it, Blessings also cover the director.
যখন তারা অশ্রুর উপত্যকার মধ্য দিয়ে যায়, তারা সেই স্থান জলধারায় পরিণত করে; প্রথম বৃষ্টি সেই প্রান্তরকে আশীর্বাদে আবৃত করে।
7 They go from strength unto strength, He appeareth unto God in Zion.
তারা ক্রমাগত শক্তিশালী হয়ে উঠবে, এবং সিয়োনে ঈশ্বরের সামনে প্রত্যেকে হাজির হবে।
8 O Jehovah, God of Hosts, hear my prayer, Give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
হে সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু, আমার প্রার্থনা শোনো; হে যাকোবের ঈশ্বর, আমার কথা শোনো।
9 Our shield, see, O God, And behold the face of Thine anointed,
দেখো, হে ঈশ্বর, আমাদের ঢাল; তোমার অভিষিক্ত-জনের প্রতি অনুগ্রহের দৃষ্টিতে দেখো।
10 For good [is] a day in Thy courts, O Teacher! I have chosen rather to be at the threshold, In the house of my God, Than to dwell in tents of wickedness.
তোমার প্রাঙ্গণে একদিন অন্যত্র হাজার দিনের চেয়েও শ্রেয়; দুষ্টদের তাঁবুতে বাস করার থেকে আমি আমার ঈশ্বরের গৃহের দ্বাররক্ষী হয়ে থাকতে চাই।
11 For a sun and a shield [is] Jehovah God, Grace and honour doth Jehovah give. He withholdeth not good To those walking in uprightness.
কারণ সদাপ্রভু ঈশ্বর ঢাল ও সূর্যের মতো; তিনি দয়া ও সম্মান দান করেন; যাদের চলার পথ সিদ্ধ তাদের তিনি কোনো প্রকার মঙ্গল থেকে বঞ্চিত করেন না।
12 Jehovah of Hosts! O the happiness of a man trusting in Thee.
হে সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু, ধন্য সেই ব্যক্তি যে তোমার উপর আস্থা রাখে।
