Psalms 82

1 — A Psalm of Asaph. God hath stood in the company of God, In the midst God doth judge.

Ðức Chúa Trời đứng trong hội Ðức Chúa Trời; Ngài đoán xét giữa các thần.

2 Till when do ye judge perversely? And the face of the wicked lift up? (Selah)

Các ngươi sẽ đoán xét chẳng công bình, Và tây vị kẻ ác cho đến chừng nào?

3 Judge ye the weak and fatherless, The afflicted and the poor declare righteous.

Hãy đoán xét kẻ khốn cùng và ngươi mồ côi; Hãy xử công bình cho người buồn rầu và kẻ túng ngặt.

4 Let the weak and needy escape, From the hand of the wicked deliver them.

Khá cứu vớt kẻ khốn cùng và người thiếu thốn, Giải họ khỏi tay kẻ ác.

5 They knew not, nor do they understand, In darkness they walk habitually, Moved are all the foundations of earth.

Chúng nó không biết chi, cũng chẳng hiểu chi; Chúng nó đi qua đi lại trong sự tối tăm: Các nền trái đất đều rúng động.

6 I — I have said, 'Gods ye [are], And sons of the Most High — all of you,

Ta đã nói: Các ngươi là thần, Hết thảy đều là con trai của Ðấng Chí cao.

7 But as man ye die, and as one of the heads ye fall,

Dầu vậy, các ngươi sẽ chết như loài người, sa ngã như một quan trưởng.

8 Rise, O God, judge the earth, For Thou hast inheritance among all the nations!

Hỡi Ðức Chúa Trời, hãy chổi dậy, đoán xét thế gian; Vì Chúa sẽ được muôn dân làm cơ nghiệp.
