Psalms 73
1 A Psalm of Asaph. Only — good to Israel [is] God, to the clean of heart. And I — as a little thing, My feet have been turned aside,
౧ఆసాపు కీర్తన ఇశ్రాయేలు పట్ల, శుద్ధహృదయం గలవారి పట్ల దేవుడు నిజంగా దయ గలవాడు.
2 As nothing, have my steps slipped, For I have been envious of the boastful,
౨నా పాదాలు కొద్దిలో జారిపోయేవి. నా అడుగులు దాదాపుగా జారి పోయాయి.
3 The peace of the wicked I see, That there are no bands at their death,
౩భక్తిహీనులు క్షేమంగా ఉండడం చూసి వారి గర్వాన్ని చూసి నేను అసూయపడ్డాను.
4 And their might [is] firm.
౪మరణ సమయంలో కూడా వారికి యాతన అనిపించదు. వారు పుష్టిగా ఉన్నారు.
5 In the misery of mortals they are not, And with common men they are not plagued.
౫ఇతరులకు కలిగే ఇబ్బందులు వారికి కలగవు. ఇతరులకు వచ్చే విపత్తులు వారికి రావు.
6 Therefore hath pride encircled them, Violence covereth them as a dress.
౬కాబట్టి గర్వం వారి మెడ చుట్టూ కంఠహారం లాగా ఉంది. దుర్మార్గతను వారు వస్త్రంలాగా ధరిస్తారు.
7 Their eye hath come out from fat. The imaginations of the heart transgressed;
౭వారి కళ్ళు కొవ్వు పట్టి ఉబ్బి ఉన్నాయి. దురాలోచనలు వారి హృదయంలోనుండి బయటికి వస్తున్నాయి.
8 They do corruptly, And they speak in the wickedness of oppression, From on high they speak.
౮వారు ఎగతాళి చేస్తారు. పొగరుబోతు మాటలు పలుకుతారు. గర్వంగా గొప్పలు చెప్పుకుంటారు.
9 They have set in the heavens their mouth, And their tongue walketh in the earth.
౯వారి మాటలు దేవునికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ఉంటాయి. వారి నాలుకతో భూమి అంతటినీ చుట్టి వస్తారు.
10 Therefore do His people return hither, And waters of fulness are wrung out to them.
౧౦కాబట్టి దేవుని ప్రజలు వారి పక్షం చేరతారు. వారి మాటలను మంచినీళ్ళు తాగినట్టు తాగుతారు.
11 And they have said, 'How hath God known? And is there knowledge in the Most High?'
౧౧దేవునికి ఎలా తెలుస్తుంది? ఇక్కడ ఏమి జరుగుతూ ఉందో ఆయనకి అవగాహన ఉందా? అని వారనుకుంటారు.
12 Lo, these [are] the wicked and easy ones of the age, They have increased strength.
౧౨గమనించండి. వారు దుర్మార్గులు. మరింత డబ్బు సంపాదిస్తూ విచ్చలవిడిగా ఉంటారు.
13 Only — a vain thing! I have purified my heart, And I wash in innocency my hands,
౧౩నా హృదయాన్ని పవిత్రంగా ఉంచుకోవడం వ్యర్థమే. నా చేతులు కడుక్కుని నిర్దోషంగా ఉండడం వ్యర్థమే.
14 And I am plagued all the day, And my reproof [is] every morning.
౧౪రోజంతా నాకు బాధ కలుగుతూ ఉంది. ప్రతి ఉదయం నేను శిక్షకు గురవుతున్నాను.
15 If I have said, 'I recount thus,' Lo, a generation of Thy sons I have deceived.
౧౫ఇలాటి మాటలు నేను చెబుతాను అని నేను అన్నట్టయితే నేను ఈ తరంలోని నీ పిల్లలను మోసం చేసినట్టే.
16 And I think to know this, Perverseness it [is] in mine eyes,
౧౬అయినా దీన్ని గురించి ఆలోచించినప్పుడు అది నాకు చాలా కష్టసాధ్యం అనిపించింది.
17 Till I come in to the sanctuaries of God, I attend to their latter end.
౧౭నేను దేవుని పరిశుద్ధ స్థలంలోకి వెళ్లి ధ్యానించినప్పుడు వారి గతి ఏమిటో గ్రహించ గలిగాను.
18 Only, in slippery places Thou dost set them, Thou hast caused them to fall to desolations.
౧౮నువ్వు వారిని కాలుజారే స్థలంలో ఉంచావు. నువ్వు వారిని పడదోసినప్పుడు వారు నశిస్తారు.
19 How have they become a desolation as in a moment, They have been ended — consumed from terrors.
౧౯ఒక్క క్షణంలో వారు అంతమైపోతారు. విపరీతమైన భయంతో నశించిపోతారు.
20 As a dream from awakening, O Lord, In awaking, their image Thou despisest.
౨౦నిద్ర మేలుకుని తన కల మరచిపోయినట్టు ప్రభూ, నువ్వు మేలుకుని వారి ఉనికి లేకుండా చేస్తావు.
21 For my heart doth show itself violent, And my reins prick themselves,
౨౧నా హృదయంలో దుఃఖం ఉంది. నా అంతరంగంలో నేను గాయపడ్డాను.
22 And I am brutish, and do not know. A beast I have been with Thee.
౨౨అప్పుడు నేను తెలివి తక్కువగా ఆలోచించాను. నీ సన్నిధిలో మృగం వంటి వాడుగా ఉన్నాను.
23 And I [am] continually with Thee, Thou hast laid hold on my right hand.
౨౩అయినా నేను నిరంతరం నీతో ఉన్నాను. నువ్వు నా కుడిచెయ్యి పట్టుకుని ఉన్నావు.
24 With Thy counsel Thou dost lead me, And after honour dost receive me.
౨౪నీ సలహాలతో నన్ను నడిపిస్తావు. తరువాత నన్ను మహిమలో చేర్చుకుంటావు.
25 Whom have I in the heavens? And with Thee none I have desired in earth.
౨౫పరలోకంలో నువ్వు తప్ప నాకెవరున్నారు? నువ్వు నాకుండగా ఈ లోకంలో నాకింకేమీ అక్కరలేదు.
26 Consumed hath been my flesh and my heart, The rock of my heart and my portion [is] God to the age.
౨౬నా శరీరం, నా హృదయం క్షీణించిపోయినా దేవుడు ఎప్పుడూ నా హృదయానికి బలమైన దుర్గంగా ఉన్నాడు.
27 For, lo, those far from Thee do perish, Thou hast cut off every one, Who is going a whoring from Thee.
౨౭నీకు దూరంగా జరిగేవారు నశించిపోతారు. నీకు అపనమ్మకంగా ఉన్నవారందరినీ నువ్వు నాశనం చేస్తావు.
28 And I — nearness of God to me [is] good, I have placed in the Lord Jehovah my refuge, To recount all Thy works!
౨౮నాకు మాత్రం కావలసింది దేవునికి దగ్గరగా ఉండడమే. యెహోవాను నా ఆశ్రయంగా చేసుకున్నాను. నీ కార్యాలన్నిటినీ నేను ప్రచారం చేస్తాను.
