< Psalms 73 >
1 A Psalm of Asaph. Only — good to Israel [is] God, to the clean of heart. And I — as a little thing, My feet have been turned aside,
Abụ Ọma Asaf. Nʼezie, Chineke dịịrị Izrel mma, dịkwara ndị obi ha dị ọcha.
2 As nothing, have my steps slipped, For I have been envious of the boastful,
Ma mụ onwe m, ọ fọdụrụ nwantịị ka m zọhie ụkwụ, ọ fọdụrụ nwantịị ka ụkwụ m gbụchapụ.
3 The peace of the wicked I see, That there are no bands at their death,
Nʼihi na e kwosara m ndị mpako ekworo; mgbe m hụrụ ịba ụba nke ndị ajọ omume.
4 And their might [is] firm.
Ha anaghị adọgbu onwe ha; ahụ ha gbara abụba, siekwa ike.
5 In the misery of mortals they are not, And with common men they are not plagued.
Nsogbu niile mmadụ ibe ha na-enwe adịghị erute ha. Ha enweghị mkpa ọbụla nke na-akpa ha dịka ndị ọzọ nwere.
6 Therefore hath pride encircled them, Violence covereth them as a dress.
Nʼihi nke a, nganga bụ ihe ịnya nʼolu ha; ha jikwa ihe ike kpuchie onwe ha dịka uwe.
7 Their eye hath come out from fat. The imaginations of the heart transgressed;
Mmehie na-esite nʼobi ọjọọ ha apụta; echiche ọjọọ ha enweghị ngụta.
8 They do corruptly, And they speak in the wickedness of oppression, From on high they speak.
Ha na-akwa emo, na-ejikwa iro ekwu okwu; nʼime mpako ha, ha na-aba mba imegbu ndị ọzọ.
9 They have set in the heavens their mouth, And their tongue walketh in the earth.
Ha ji ọnụ ha na-ekwu na eluigwe bụ nke ha, ha jikwa ire ha kwuo na ụwa niile bụ nke ha.
10 Therefore do His people return hither, And waters of fulness are wrung out to them.
Nʼihi nke a, ndị ha na-eso ha, na-aṅụrụ okwu ha ebe ọ bara ụba dịka mmiri.
11 And they have said, 'How hath God known? And is there knowledge in the Most High?'
Ha na-asị, “Olee otu Chineke ga-esi mara? Ọ dịkwanụ ihe Onye kachasị ihe niile elu maara?”
12 Lo, these [are] the wicked and easy ones of the age, They have increased strength.
Otu a ka ndị ajọ omume dị, ha na-ebi ndụ na-enweghị nsogbu; akụnụba ha na-amụbakwa.
13 Only — a vain thing! I have purified my heart, And I wash in innocency my hands,
Nʼezie, ọ bụ naanị nʼefu ka m debere obi m ọcha, nʼefu ka m kwọrọ aka m abụọ nʼemeghị ihe ọjọọ.
14 And I am plagued all the day, And my reproof [is] every morning.
Ogologo ụbọchị niile, anọ m na nsogbu; ụtụtụ niile ka m na-anata ntaramahụhụ.
15 If I have said, 'I recount thus,' Lo, a generation of Thy sons I have deceived.
Ọ bụrụ na m kwuru sị, “Nke a ka m ga-ekwu,” agaara m abụ onye na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi nʼetiti ụmụ gị.
16 And I think to know this, Perverseness it [is] in mine eyes,
Mgbe m gbalịrị ịghọta ihe ndị a niile, ọ ghọọrọ m ihe mwute,
17 Till I come in to the sanctuaries of God, I attend to their latter end.
tutu ruo mgbe m bara nʼebe nsọ Chineke; mgbe ahụ ka m ghọtara ihe ga-eme ha nʼikpeazụ.
18 Only, in slippery places Thou dost set them, Thou hast caused them to fall to desolations.
Nʼezie, ị na-eguzo ha nʼala na-achị achị; ị na-atụda ha, laa ha nʼiyi.
19 How have they become a desolation as in a moment, They have been ended — consumed from terrors.
Lee, ka ha si laa nʼiyi nʼotu ntabi anya, bụrụ ndị ihe egwu dị iche iche kpochapụrụ kpamkpam!
20 As a dream from awakening, O Lord, In awaking, their image Thou despisest.
Dịka nrọ, mgbe mmadụ na-eteta, otu a, O Onyenwe anyị, mgbe i tetara, ị ga-eleda ha anya dịka echiche na-agaghị emezu.
21 For my heart doth show itself violent, And my reins prick themselves,
Mgbe m nọ nʼobi mwute; mmụọ m dara mba.
22 And I am brutish, and do not know. A beast I have been with Thee.
Abụ m onye nzuzu na onye na-amaghị ihe. Adị m ka anụ ọhịa nʼihu gị.
23 And I [am] continually with Thee, Thou hast laid hold on my right hand.
Ma ana m anọnyere gị mgbe niile; ị na-ejide m nʼaka nri m.
24 With Thy counsel Thou dost lead me, And after honour dost receive me.
Ị na-eji ndụmọdụ gị na-edu m, ma emesịa, ị ga-anabata m nʼebube gị.
25 Whom have I in the heavens? And with Thee none I have desired in earth.
Onye ka m nwere nʼeluigwe ma ọ bụghị gị? Ọ dịghị ihe ụwa a nwere nke m ga-achọsi ike karịa gị.
26 Consumed hath been my flesh and my heart, The rock of my heart and my portion [is] God to the age.
Anụ ahụ m na mkpụrụobi m nwere ike ịda mba, ma Chineke bụ ike nke obi m, na ihe nketa m ruo ebighị ebi.
27 For, lo, those far from Thee do perish, Thou hast cut off every one, Who is going a whoring from Thee.
Ndị niile nọpụrụ gị nʼebe dị anya ga-ala nʼiyi. Ị ga-alakwa ndị niile na-ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi, nye gị nʼiyi.
28 And I — nearness of God to me [is] good, I have placed in the Lord Jehovah my refuge, To recount all Thy works!
Ma nye mụ onwe m, ọ dị mma ịnọ Chineke nso. Emeela m Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị ebe mgbaba m. Aga m akọ banyere ọrụ gị niile dị iche iche.
