Psalms 68
1 To the Overseer. — A Psalm, a song of David. Rise doth God — scattered are His enemies! And those hating Him flee from His face.
Levante-se Deus, e sejam dissipados os seus inimigos; fugirão de diante d'elle os que o aborrecem.
2 As the driving away of smoke Thou drivest away, As the melting of wax before fire, The wicked perish at the presence of God.
Como se impelle o fumo assim tu os impelles; assim como a cera se derrete diante do fogo, assim pereçam os impios diante de Deus.
3 And the righteous rejoice, they exult before God, And they joy with gladness.
Mas alegrem-se os justos, e se regozijem na presença de Deus, e folguem d'alegria.
4 Sing ye to God — praise His name, Raise up a highway for Him who is riding in deserts, In Jah [is] His name, and exult before Him.
Cantae a Deus, cantae louvores ao seu nome; louvae aquelle que vae montado sobre os céus, pois o seu nome é Jah, e exultae diante d'elle.
5 Father of the fatherless, and judge of the widows, [Is] God in His holy habitation.
Pae d'orphãos e juiz de viuvas é Deus, no seu logar sancto.
6 God — causing the lonely to dwell at home, Bringing out bound ones into prosperity, Only — the refractory have inhabited a dry place.
Deus faz que o solitario viva em familia: liberta aquelles que estão presos em grilhões; mas os rebeldes habitam em terra secca.
7 O God, in Thy going forth before Thy people, In Thy stepping through the wilderness, (Selah)
Ó Deus, quando sahias diante do teu povo, quando caminhavas pelo deserto, (Selah)
8 The earth hath shaken, Yea, the heavens have dropped before God, This Sinai — before God, the God of Israel.
A terra se abalava, e os céus distillavam perante a face de Deus; até o proprio Sinai foi commovido na presença de Deus, do Deus de Israel.
9 A shower of free-will gifts thou shakest out, O God. Thine inheritance, when it hath been weary, Thou hast established it.
Tu, ó Deus, mandaste a chuva em abundancia, confortaste a tua herança, quando estava cançada.
10 Thy company have dwelt in it, Thou preparest in Thy goodness for the poor, O God.
N'ella habitava o teu rebanho; tu, ó Deus, preparaste na tua bondade para o pobre.
11 The Lord doth give the saying, The female proclaimers [are] a numerous host.
O Senhor deu a palavra: grande era o exercito dos que annunciavam as boas novas.
12 Kings of hosts flee utterly away, And a female inhabitant of the house apportioneth spoil.
Reis de exercitos fugiram á pressa; e aquella que ficava em casa repartia os despojos.
13 Though ye do lie between two boundaries, Wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold.
Ainda que vos tenhaes deitado entre panellas, comtudo sereis como as azas d'uma pomba, cobertas de prata, e as suas pennas d'oiro amarello.
14 When the Mighty spreadeth kings in it, It doth snow in Salmon.
Quando o Omnipotente ali espalhou os reis, ella ficou alva como a neve em Salmon.
15 A hill of God [is] the hill of Bashan, A hill of heights [is] the hill of Bashan.
O monte de Deus é como o monte de Basan, um monte elevado como o monte de Basan.
16 Why do ye envy, O high hills, The hill God hath desired for His seat? Jehovah also doth tabernacle for ever.
Porque saltaes, ó montes elevados? este é o monte que Deus desejou para a sua habitação, e o Senhor habitará n'elle eternamente.
17 The chariots of God [are] myriads, thousands of changes, The Lord [is] among them, in Sinai, in the sanctuary.
Os carros de Deus são vinte milhares, milhares de milhares. O Senhor está entre elles, como em Sinai, no logar sancto.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast taken captive captivity, Thou hast taken gifts for men, That even the refractory may rest, O Jah God.
Tu subiste ao alto, levaste captivo o captiveiro, recebeste dons para os homens, e até para os rebeldes, para que o Senhor Deus habitasse entre elles.
19 Blessed [is] the Lord, day by day He layeth on us. God Himself [is] our salvation. (Selah)
Bemdito seja o Senhor, que de dia em dia nos carrega de beneficios: o Deus que é a nossa salvação (Selah)
20 God Himself [is] to us a God for deliverances, And Jehovah Lord hath the outgoings of death.
Aquelle que é o nosso Deus é o Deus da salvação; e a Jehovah, o Senhor, pertencem as saidas da morte.
21 Only — God doth smite The head of His enemies, The hairy crown of a habitual walker in his guilt.
Mas Deus ferirá gravemente a cabeça de seus inimigos e o craneo cabelludo do que anda em suas culpas.
22 The Lord said: 'From Bashan I bring back, I bring back from the depths of the sea.
Disse o Senhor: Eu os farei voltar de Basan, farei voltar o meu povo das profundezas do mar.
23 So that thou dashest thy foot in blood, [In the blood of] enemies — the tongue of Thy dogs.'
Para que o teu pé mergulhe no sangue de teus inimigos, e no mesmo a lingua dos teus cães.
24 They have seen Thy goings, O God, Goings of my God, my king, in the sanctuary.
Ó Deus, elles teem visto os teus caminhos; os caminhos do meu Deus, meu Rei, no sanctuario.
25 Singers have been before, Behind [are] players on instruments, In the midst virgins playing with timbrels.
Os cantores iam adiante, os tocadores de instrumentos atraz; entre elles as donzellas tocando adufes.
26 In assemblies bless ye God, The Lord — from the fountain of Israel.
Celebrae a Deus nas congregações; ao Senhor, desde a fonte d'Israel.
27 There [is] little Benjamin their ruler, Heads of Judah their defence, Heads of Zebulun — heads of Naphtali.
Ali está o pequeno Benjamin, que domina sobre elles, os principes de Judah com o seu ajuntamento, os principes de Zabulon e os principes de Naphtali.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength, Be strong, O God, this Thou hast wrought for us.
O teu Deus ordenou a tua força: fortalece, ó Deus, o que já obraste para nós.
29 Because of Thy temple at Jerusalem, To Thee do kings bring a present.
Por amor do teu templo em Jerusalem, os reis te trarão presentes.
30 Rebuke a beast of the reeds, a company of bulls, With calves of the peoples, Each humbling himself with pieces of silver, Scatter Thou peoples delighting in conflicts.
Reprehende asperamente as feras das cannas, a multidão dos toiros, com os novilhos dos povos, até que cada um se submetta com pedaços de prata; dissipa os povos que desejam a guerra.
31 Come do fat ones out of Egypt, Cush causeth her hands to run to God.
Embaixadores reaes virão do Egypto; a Ethiopia cedo estenderá para Deus as suas mãos.
32 Kingdoms of the earth, sing ye to God, Praise ye the Lord. (Selah)
Reinos da terra, cantae a Deus, cantae louvores ao Senhor (Selah)
33 To him who is riding on the heavens of the heavens of old, Lo, He giveth with His voice a strong voice.
Áquelle que vae montado sobre os céus dos céus, que existiam desde a antiguidade; eis que envia a sua voz, dá um brado vehemente.
34 Ascribe ye strength to God, Over Israel [is] His excellency, and His strength in the clouds.
Dae a Deus fortaleza: a sua excellencia está sobre Israel e a sua fortaleza nas mais altas nuvens.
35 Fearful, O God, out of Thy sanctuaries, The God of Israel Himself, Giving strength and might to the people. Blessed [is] God!
Ó Deus, tu és tremendo desde os teus sanctuarios: o Deus d'Israel é o que dá fortaleza e poder ao seu povo. Bemdito seja Deus!
