Psalms 65
1 To the Overseer. — A Psalm of David. A Song. To Thee, silence — praise, O God, [is] in Zion, And to Thee is a vow completed.
സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം. ദൈവമേ, സീയോനിൽ സ്തുതി അങ്ങേക്ക് യോഗ്യം; അങ്ങേക്കുതന്നെ ഞങ്ങൾ നേർച്ചയർപ്പിക്കും.
2 Hearer of prayer, to Thee all flesh cometh.
പ്രാർഥനയ്ക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളുന്ന ദൈവമേ, സകലജനവും അങ്ങയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു വരും
3 Matters of iniquities were mightier than I, Our transgressions — Thou dost cover them.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളെ മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞെങ്കിലും അവിടന്ന് ഞങ്ങളുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ ക്ഷമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
4 O the happiness of [him whom] Thou choosest, And drawest near, he inhabiteth Thy courts, We are satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.
അങ്ങയുടെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരാങ്കണത്തിൽ വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അങ്ങ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് അടുപ്പിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ അനുഗൃഹീതർ. അവിടത്തെ നിവാസസ്ഥാനമായ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ നന്മകളാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ സംതൃപ്തരാകും.
5 By fearful things in righteousness Thou answerest us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all far off ends of earth and sea.
ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലസീമകൾക്കും വിദൂര സമുദ്രങ്ങൾക്കും പ്രത്യാശയായിരിക്കുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷകനായ ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങ് അത്ഭുതകരമായ നീതിപ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളുന്നു.
6 Establishing mountains by His power, He hath been girded with might,
അവിടന്ന് ബലം അരയ്ക്കുകെട്ടിക്കൊണ്ട് അവിടത്തെ ശക്തിയാൽ പർവതങ്ങളെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു.
7 Restraining the noise of seas, the noise of their billows, And the multitude of the peoples.
അവിടന്ന് സമുദ്രങ്ങളുടെ ഗർജനവും തിരമാലകളുടെ അലർച്ചയും രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെ കലഹവും ശമിപ്പിച്ചു.
8 And the inhabitants of the uttermost parts From Thy signs are afraid, The outgoings of morning and evening Thou causest to sing.
ഭൂമിയിലെല്ലായിടത്തും പാർക്കുന്ന ജനം അവിടത്തെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം വിസ്മയപ്പെടുന്നു; ഉദയത്തിന്റെയും അസ്തമയത്തിന്റെയും ദിക്കുകളിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് ആനന്ദഗീതം ആലപിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
9 Thou hast inspected the earth, and waterest it, Thou makest it very rich, the rivulet of God [is] full of water, Thou preparest their corn, When thus Thou dost prepare it,
അവിടന്ന് ഭൂമിയെ സന്ദർശിക്കുകയും അത് നനയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് അതിനെ അത്യന്തം ഫലപുഷ്ടമാക്കുന്നു. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നദിയിൽ വെള്ളം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ അങ്ങ് ഭൂമിയെ ഒരുക്കി അവർക്കു ധാന്യംനൽകുന്നു.
10 Its ridges have been filled, Deepened hath been its furrow, With showers Thou dost soften it, Its springing up Thou blessest.
അങ്ങ് അതിന്റെ ഉഴവുചാലുകളെ നനയ്ക്കുന്നു; മഴയാൽ അങ്ങ് അതിനെ കുതിർക്കുകയും അതിന്റെ മുളയെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
11 Thou hast crowned the year of Thy goodness, And Thy paths drop fatness.
അങ്ങ് സംവത്സരത്തെ നന്മകൊണ്ട് കിരീടമണിയിക്കുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ പാതകൾ പുഷ്ടിപൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
12 Drop do the pastures of a wilderness, And joy of the heights Thou girdest on.
മരുഭൂമിയിലെ പുൽമേടുകൾ സമൃദ്ധിപൊഴിക്കുന്നു കുന്നുകൾ ആനന്ദം അണിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
13 Clothed have lambs the flock, And valleys are covered with corn, They shout — yea, they sing!
പുൽപ്പുറങ്ങളിൽ ആട്ടിൻപറ്റം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു താഴ്വരകൾ ധാന്യംകൊണ്ട് മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ആനന്ദത്താൽ ആർക്കുകയും പാടുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
