Psalms 61

1 To the Overseer, on stringed instruments. — By David. Hear, O God, my loud cry, attend to my prayer.

Para el músico jefe. Para un instrumento de cuerda. Por David. Escucha mi clamor, Dios. Escucha mi oración.

2 From the end of the land unto Thee I call, In the feebleness of my heart, Into a rock higher than I Thou dost lead me.

Desde el fin de la tierra, te llamaré cuando mi corazón esté abrumado. Condúceme a la roca que es más alta que yo.

3 For Thou hast been a refuge for me, A tower of strength because of the enemy.

Porque tú has sido un refugio para mí, una torre fuerte del enemigo.

4 I sojourn in Thy tent to the ages, I trust in the secret place of Thy wings. (Selah)

Yo habitaré en tu tienda para siempre. Me refugiaré al abrigo de tus alas. (Selah)

5 For Thou, O God, hast hearkened to my vows, Thou hast appointed the inheritance Of those fearing Thy name.

Porque tú, Dios, has escuchado mis votos. Me has dado la herencia de los que temen tu nombre.

6 Days to the days of the king Thou addest, His years as generation and generation.

Prolongarás la vida del rey. Sus años serán para generaciones.

7 He dwelleth to the age before God, Kindness and truth appoint — they keep him.

Será entronizado en la presencia de Dios para siempre. Designa tu amorosa bondad y la verdad, para que lo preserven.

8 So do I praise Thy name for ever, When I pay my vows day by day!

Así cantaré alabanzas a tu nombre para siempre, para que pueda cumplir mis votos diariamente.
