Psalms 55
1 To the Overseer with stringed instruments. — An instruction, by David. Give ear, O God, [to] my prayer, And hide not from my supplication.
১প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। তার যুক্ত যন্ত্রে। দায়ূদের একটি মস্কীল। ঈশ্বর আমার প্রার্থনা শোন এবং আমার বিনতি থেকে নিজেকে লুকিও না।
2 Attend to me, and answer me, I mourn in my (meditation) and make a noise,
২আমার দিকে মনোযোগ দাও; আমার কষ্টের মধ্যেও আমার বিশ্রাম নেই।
3 Because of the voice of an enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked, For they cause sorrow to move against me, And in anger they hate me.
৩আমার শত্রুদের আওয়াজে কারণে, দুষ্টদের অত্যাচারের কারণে, কারণ তারা আমার উপরে কষ্ট বয়ে আনে এবং রাগে আমাকে নির্যাতন করে।
4 My heart is pained within me, And terrors of death have fallen on me.
৪আমার হৃদয়ে বড়ই ব্যথা হচ্ছে এবং মৃত্যুর ভয় আমাকে আক্রমণ করেছে।
5 Fear and trembling come in to me, And horror doth cover me.
৫ভয় ও কম্প আমার উপর আসে এবং ভয় আমাকে আচ্ছন্ন করেছে।
6 And I say, 'Who doth give to me a pinion as a dove? I fly away and rest,
৬আমি বললাম, “আহা! যদি পায়রার মত আমার ডানা হত, তবে আমি উড়ে গিয়ে বিশ্রাম নিতাম।
7 Lo, I move far off, I lodge in a wilderness. (Selah)
৭দেখ, দূরে আমি যাই, মরুপ্রান্তে প্রবেশ করি। (সেলা)
8 I hasten escape for myself, From a rushing wind, from a whirlwind.
৮আমি ঝড়ো বাতাস এবং ঝড় থেকে আশ্রয়ের জন্য ত্বরা হব।”
9 Swallow up, O Lord, divide their tongue, For I saw violence and strife in a city.
৯প্রভু তাদের ধ্বংস করে দাও এবং তাদের ভাষা বিভ্রান্ত করে, কারণ আমি শহরে দ্বন্দ্ব ও হিংসা দেখেছি।
10 By day and by night they go round it, on its walls. Both iniquity and perverseness [are] in its midst,
১০তারা দিন এবং রাতে তাদের শহরকে দেওয়ালের উপর দিয়ে দেখে; আর তার মধ্যে পাপ এবং দুষ্টতা রয়েছে।
11 Mischiefs [are] in its midst. Fraud and deceit depart not from its street.
১১তার মধ্যে দুষ্টতা রয়েছে; নিপীড়ন এবং ছলনা তার রাস্তা ত্যাগ করে না।
12 For an enemy reproacheth me not, or I bear [it], He who is hating me Hath not magnified himself against me, Or I hide from him.
১২কারণ এটি আমার শত্রু ছিল না, আমাকে বহন করতে পারে; যে আমাকে ঘৃণা করেছে সে আমাকে তিরস্কার করে না, তারপরও আমি তার থেকে নিজেকে লুকিয়ে রাখি।
13 But thou, a man — as mine equal, My familiar friend, and mine acquaintance.
১৩কিন্তু তুমি তো আমার মত একজন মানুষ, আমার সঙ্গী এবং বন্ধু।
14 When together we sweeten counsel, Into the house of God we walk in company.
১৪আমরা একসাথে মধুর সহভাগীতায় ছিলাম; আমরা সবাই ঈশ্বরের গৃহে যেতাম।
15 Desolations [are] upon them, They go down [to] Sheol — alive, For wickedness [is] in their dwelling, in their midst. (Sheol h7585)
১৫মৃত্যু তাদের উপরে হঠাৎ আসুক; তারা জীবিত ভাবে পাতালে নামুক; কারণ তাদের মধ্যে এবং তাদের অন্তরে দুষ্টতা আছে। (Sheol h7585)
16 I — to God I call, and Jehovah saveth me.
১৬কিন্তু আমি ঈশ্বরকে ডাকব এবং তাতে সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে রক্ষা করবেন।
17 Evening, and morning, and noon, I meditate, and make a noise, and He heareth my voice,
১৭সন্ধ্যায় এবং সকালে ও দুপুরে আমি অভিযোগ ও বিলাপ করব এবং তিনি আমার রব শুনবেন।
18 He hath ransomed in peace my soul From him who is near to me, For with the multitude they were with me.
১৮আমার বিরুদ্ধে যে যুদ্ধ হয়েছিল তার থেকে তিনি আমার প্রাণকে মুক্তি করেছেন; কারণ অনেকে আমার বিরুদ্ধে ছিল।
19 God doth hear and afflict them, And He sitteth of old. (Selah) Because they have no changes, and fear not God,
১৯ঈশ্বর, তিনি প্রাচীনকাল থেকে তাদের কথা শুনতেন এবং সাড়া দিতেন। (সেলা) তাদের পরিবর্তন হয় নাই, আর তারা ঈশ্বরকে ভয় করে না।
20 He hath sent forth his hands against his well-wishers, He hath polluted his covenant.
২০আমার বন্ধু যারা যাদের সাথে শান্তি ছিল তাদের বিরুদ্ধে হাত উঠান হয়েছে, তিনি যে নিয়ম করেছিলেন সেটি তারা অপবিত্র করেছে।
21 Sweeter than honey hath been his mouth, And his heart [is] war! Softer have been his words than oil, And they [are] drawn [swords].
২১তার মুখ মাখনের মত মসৃণ, কিন্তু তার হৃদয় শত্রুতাপূর্ণ; তার বাক্য সকল তেলের থেকেও কোমল, তখনও তারা তলোয়ারগুলো আঁকড়ে ধরেছিল।
22 Cast on Jehovah that which He hath given thee, And He doth sustain thee, He doth not suffer for ever the moving of the righteous.
২২তোমার ভার সদাপ্রভুুর উপর দাও; সদাপ্রভুু তোমাকে ধরে রাখবেন, তিনি কখনোই একজন ধার্মিক ব্যক্তির পতনের অনুমতি দেবেন না।
23 And Thou, O God, dost bring them down To a pit of destruction, Men of blood and deceit reach not to half their days, And I — I do trust in Thee!
২৩কিন্তু তুমি ঈশ্বর, দুষ্টদের ধ্বংসের গর্তে নামাবে; রক্তক্ষয়ী ও প্রতারণাকারী মানুষেরা বেশি দিন বেঁচে থাকবে না; কিন্তু আমি তোমার উপরে বিশ্বাস করব।
