Psalms 48
1 A Song, a Psalm, by sons of Korah. Great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, In the city of our God — His holy hill.
ಒಂದು ಗೀತೆ. ಕೋರಹೀಯನ ಪುತ್ರರು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಹೋನ್ನತರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
2 Beautiful [for] elevation, A joy of all the land, [is] Mount Zion, The sides of the north, the city of a great king.
ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತವು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಚಾಪೋನಿನ ಶಿಖರದಂತೆ ಇಡೀ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷಕರವಾದದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
3 God in her high places is known for a tower.
ದೇವರು ಅದರ ಅರಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದೇವರು ತಾವೇ ಅದರ ಭದ್ರಕೋಟೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
4 For, lo, the kings met, they passed by together,
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಇಗೋ, ಅರಸರು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದರು. ಅವರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ದಾಳಿಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದರು.
5 They have seen — so they have marvelled, They have been troubled, they were hastened away.
ಅವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಬೆರಗಾದರು. ಅವರು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
6 Trembling hath seized them there, Pain, as of a travailing woman.
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಡುಕವವೂ ಹೆರುವವಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನೋವೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಿತು.
7 By an east wind Thou shiverest ships of Tarshish.
ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್ ಹಡಗುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಒಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲಾ.
8 As we have heard, so we have seen, In the city of Jehovah of hosts, In the city of our God, God doth establish her — to the age. (Selah)
ನಾವು ಹೇಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದೆವೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡೆವು, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿರುವ, ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆವು: ದೇವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸುವರು.
9 We have thought, O God, of Thy kindness, In the midst of Thy temple,
ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
10 As [is] Thy name, O God, so [is] Thy praise, Over the ends of the earth, Righteousness hath filled Thy right hand.
ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಇದೆ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗೈ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ.
11 Rejoice doth Mount Zion, The daughters of Judah are joyful, For the sake of Thy judgments.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯ ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತವು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಲಿ; ಯೆಹೂದ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡಲಿ.
12 Compass Zion, and go round her, count her towers,
ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿ ಅದರ ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿರಿ.
13 Set your heart to her bulwark, Consider her high places, So that ye recount to a later generation,
ಮುಂದಿನ ತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅದರ ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಅದರ ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.
14 That this God [is] our God — To the age and for ever, He — he doth lead us over death!
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಈ ದೇವರು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿರುವರು.
